Chapter 311: The Gathering of Geniuses
Translator: Transn Editor: Transn
Su Mo took a close look at the Prince of Flaming Cloud and retracted.
He was indeed an expert and could be a strong opponent.
Su Mo continued to refine the Nirvana Sword Qi within his Spiritual Spiral. After two days, he had already refined three strands of Nirvana Sword Qi.
Every strand of this deadly gas was pinkie-sized and black in color.
After those people from Firecloud Mountain arrived, the rest of the six superpowers also arrived subsequently.
The usual rowdiness on the plain immediately quieted down and became silent. The seven superpowers were dominant in the Hong Domain and far beyond the rest of the small sects.
Everybody became more dignified and didn’t dare to make a sound in front of the seven superpowers.
Su Mo was cultivating while looking closely at the young talents from the seven superpowers, and put on a grave expression.
Duanmu Ying was dressed in a purple leather dress. Her graceful posture and enchanting face attracted a lot of attention.
She was the top young expert and the eldest daughter of the Duanmus. She was even ranked 10th on the List of Top 100 Talents, truly the Gods’ favorite daughter.
Everyone from Cold-blood Hall wore black robes that hid their faces well, but they were divulging a strong aura of blood Qi.
Only a pale-looking young man did not wear a black hood and showed his face. He was Mo Yue, the young master of Cold-blood Hall and ranked eighth on the List of Top 100 Talents.
When Su Mo saw the people from Cold-blood Hall, his suspicion was aroused. They looked and felt similar to those blood-sucking black-robed men he had killed.
Su Mo recalled some information regarding Cold-blood Hall. This powerful group only popped up a dozen years ago and before that, there were only six superpowers in the Hong Domain.

According to the rumors, the Cold-blood Hall disciples had all cultivated evil and demonic skills which were extremely brutal. The six superpowers had waged war against them before. however, the Cold-blood Hall was so extremely strong that they had to stop the war in order to avoid excessive casualties. It was then recognized as the seventh superpower in the Hong Domain.
“Do all the disciples of Cold-blood Hall cultivate by sucking blood?” Su Mo pondered. If that was the case, then Cold-blood Hall really was worse than animals.
Su Mo next looked over to the Icynorth Sect. Han Qianze, Prince of the North, had an ice cold face. His breath seemed to freeze the blood of those around him.
Han Qianze was ranked sixth on the previous List of Top 100 Talents.
The Divine Sword Sect was the number one sword sect in the Hong Domain. Everyone was emitting a strong aura of sword Qi except one young man. He looked ordinary as he was not emitting any sword Qi. It was as if nobody would notice him among the crowd.
However, he was near the center of the Divine Sword Sect disciples. This showed his extraordinary status.
“He must be Wu Sheng!” Su Mo thought to himself. Wu Sheng was ranked third on the List of Top 100 Talents and he cultivated the Lifeless Swordplay which was extremely powerful.
After a short while, Su Mo looked toward the Great Hong Empire. The imperial family of the Great Hong Empire brought over 300 people with them. Su Mo’s first glance was on a young man dressed in a python-patterned robe.
His build was magnificent and gave off a king’s aura that was extremely overbearing.
He was Hong Qingtian, the Sixth Prince of the Great Hong Empire and ranked fifth on the List of Top 100 Talents.
However, Su Mo only looked at Hong Qingtian briefly before swiftly moving his gaze to look at the one beside him.

A lady was standing next to Hong Qingtian. She wore a long white dress and had a graceful, gentle figure that emitted a holy aura like a fairy, with no trace of a mundane world.
But she was wearing a white veil that covered her face even against the detection of Su Mo’s willpower.
Although no one could see her face, just by judging from her vague contour, she must be an outstanding beauty.
Since she was standing together with Hong Qingtian, she was obviously someone of great importance.
Not only did Su Mo notice her, everyone also noticed her and many of them began to guess her identity.
Su Mo looked away and started to observe those from the Heaven Sect.
The Heaven Sect was the strongest among the seven superpowers. Even the genius who ranked first on the List of Top 100 Talents came from the Heaven Sect.
After glancing through hundreds of disciples, Su Mo discovered quite a few young experts and some of them felt even stronger than Han Yijian.
Other than that, Su Mo did not discover any other strong young experts.
“Maybe he’s already over 25? That’s why he can’t participate in the competition.” Su Mo thought silently. He was referring to the genius who ranked first on the List of Top 100 Talents.
Almost all of the top 10 geniuses had arrived at the plain. Those that were not present were not there because they were older than 25 and could no longer participate in the competition.
Duanmu Ying, Huo Ling, Mo Yue, Han Qianze, Wu Sheng, Hong Qingtian, stared across at one another as their strong fighting desires collided in mid-air.
They were all rare geniuses with their own unique aura and they stood on equal grounds.
However, when their eyes swept to the Heaven Sect, they were quite disappointed. “Do we not have the chance to duel with the person that we failed to defeat previously?”
“Has he left the Hong Domain?” they were all sighing silently.
Swoosh!
Suddenly, a purple light streamed from the horizon at lightning speed. In just a breath’s time, the light arrived above the plains from a hundred miles away and turned into a young man.
“It’s Ao Wushuang!”
“The number one on the List of Top 100 Talents, Ao Wushuang is here!” The whole plain was bursting with loud voices that shook everything within hundreds of miles.
Even the Prince of Flaming Cloud, Huo Ling, Wu Sheng, Mo Yue and the other top 10 geniuses also looked toward this young man. Their eyes were shining with strong fighting desires.
He was tall and dressed in a long purple robe laced with gold. His gaze was that of an invincible king and he emitted an aura that was beyond this world.
He was Ao Wushuang, ranking first on the List of Top 100 Talents, the renowned rare genius in Hong Domain.
Ao Wushuang was the core disciple of the Heaven Sect with a Rank 7 Earth Class Martial Soul.
During the last competition, Ao Wushuang overpowered everyone and became the cream of the crop.
Ao Wushuang’s arrival attracted everyone’s attention. His elegant demeanor overwhelmed the rest of the geniuses.
Ao Wushuang stood proudly in the air with his hands behind back. He disregarded the hundreds of thousands of people and landed above Wu Sheng, Prince of Flaming Cloud, and the other geniuses.
“Everyone, I’m back again!” the young man said indifferently.

The Ruins of Magincia
They say all things end in time, but the exalted City of Magi would’ve begged to differ. Yet when an attempted coup goes wrong, the city finds itself brought to the very brink of destruction. In the wake of the calamity that left no survivors, the autonomous infrastructure still operating the ruined city seeks to restore what was lost. Luckily for it, the Mana-devoid Universe it awoke in holds an unexpected surprise: a planet full of sentient life forms. All capable—with a little help—to become the next generation of Magi. Back on Earth, Millie McArthur is a pregnant out-of-work mechanic struggling with the prospect of moving back in with her parents after leaving her unfaithful fiancé. That is until she finds herself just one of the hundreds that have been shanghaied by the callous artificial constructs still manning the ruins of Magincia. Now, she must struggle to learn magic, compete for resources, get good 'grades,' and fulfill the seemingly arbitrary requirements for her future job in this broken city. All while keeping herself, and her son, alive. Is the miracle of magic really enough to make up for all the pain? The Ruins of Magincia is a dark fantasy that's heavy on the drama (LitRPG aspects are very light). Chapter lengths can be anywhere from 7k-12k and there's no current release schedule as I'm focusing on wrapping up volume one.

Trial of Champions
It all began with a family trip to an amusement park. How were any of us to expect being transported from Earth to participate in some "Trial of Champions," whatever that was supposed to be? Given only an hour to choose the Classes that would come to define our strengths, we were almost immediately torn away from one another and thrust into a deadly game of survival. It wasn't all bad, though, as terrifying as it could be from time to time. The supernatural and magical powers of the Classes were like something out of an RPG, complete with leveling up by killing monsters and completing so-called "Sub-Trials." And despite the juicy Experience to be gained from killing other Champion Contestants, not all of the participants were bloodthirsty murderers; some could be allied with, or even befriended. Even if it seemed like everyone who had been chosen for this Trial, no matter what universe they came from, was at least a little bit crazy. I would survive this till the end, and I'd make sure that my siblings and parents did as well, no matter how many times we were separated from one another. No matter how long it took. No matter what I had to do. --- A first-person litRPG incorporating classes inspired by D&D and other sources. If you like blue boxes but don't need to have huge lists of numbers to scratch your itch, you should be satisfied on that front. Each chapter is, in my word processing document, seven pages long (approximately 3300-3900 words). The Traumatizing Content warning is there because of discussions of certain topics. Nothing that I think deserves the warning actually happens in the story.

Midnight Origins: Arrival
On a lush planet known as Bhar, Verun is now the leading nation in the development of the rivaled schools of Magic and Science. Having brought forth an era of peace and prosperity for themselves through the development of Magitech, The High council was eager to spread their knowledge and beliefs to the furthest reaches of the continent, with the goal of ending senseless conflicts and prioritizing advancements in Magitech and improving the quality of life. This ambition, however, is not without opposition. Most followers side with one school or another, believing it is superior in nature. This conflict dates back to the very beginning of civilization itself, where it is believed by both sides that their gods descended from the heavens, bestowing upon them the knowledge that would bring the world into a new age. And though some took great interest in their differences, others would seek to convert each other through any means necessary. That being the case, The High council, leaders of Verun, had made the necessary preparations to handle threats and attempt diplomacy between the remaining opposers. Talented volunteers were hand chosen to be among the military, tasked with protecting the nation from both internal and external threats. And although non-biological creations have improved quality of life, they are not yet capable of replacing the military. The necessary research and development for such a thing was thought to be decades away, until Councilman Eranor encountered an anomaly in his facility…
