Chapter 256: This, Is a True Genius!
Translator: Transn Editor: Transn
Su Mo’s punch looked simple and casual. He did not use a single martial arts technique.
However, the genuine Qi that shrouded his fist was terrifying, almost equivalent to the attack from a martial artist at Lv 1 True Spirit Realm.
His fist was extremely fast. Although Su Mo was standing 300 meters away from Weng Kuiwu, his fist radiance seemed to have broken the boundaries of space and time and he teleported, reaching Weng Kuiwu in an instant.
“What?”
Everyone was shocked by Su Mo’s punch.
On the spectators stand, the elders from both the Tong and the Weng families immediately stood up in astonishment.
All of the Tongs disciples were startled as well. His punch was too fast and too powerful!
“Ho!”
Weng Kuiwu’s hair stood on end. He wanted to evade the attack but it was too late. In that split second, his genuine Qi went rampant and he struck at the fist radiance with his palm shaped into a claw.
The next moment, the fist radiance clashed with Weng Kuiwu’s claw.
Boom!
A loud bang was heard along with the sound of bones shattering. Weng Kuiwu was then seen flying off backward like a cannon ball.
Poof!
Blood was scattered in the air as Weng Kuiwu was sent flying off the fighting ring for almost 600 meters, before crashing into a house and turning it to ruins.
The whole place was deathly silent. Everyone had their eyes wide opened and stared at the scene with disbelief.
The overbearing Weng Kuiwu had been defeated in one move. It was such an utter defeat, and he was unable to withstand a single attack.
“Simple?”
The crowd remembered what Su Mo had said earlier, only to realize that Su Mo was not cocky. He was actually absolutely powerful!
Tong Wanqiu was in a daze, her beautiful eyes were wide-open and her lips were apart as well.
She had hoped that Su Mo could defeat Weng Kuiwu, but she had little faith and did not expect her wish to come true in an instant.

Xiao Qing was stupefied as well. She had only asked Su Mo to defeat Weng Kuiwu to repay Tong Wanqiu’s kindness as an endeavor. She had never expected Su Mo would defeat Weng Kuiwu, not to mention defeat him so easily!
The elders of the Tong and Weng families up on the spectators’ stand were shocked as well. Su Mo’s strength was obviously equivalent to a martial artist at Lv 1 Spiritual Martial Realm!
“This is impossible! How can you defeat me? I’m peerless in the Spiritual Martial Realm!” Weng Kuiwu roared as he was laying in the ruins, his face pale as a sheet.
Su Mo shook his head in disdain after hearing Weng Kuiwu. “Peerless in the Spiritual Martial Realm? Weng Kuiwu is nothing compared to Yin Lige. He’s not even close to being peerless.”
“Your name’s Weng Kuiwu? Burly Weng? You’re thin as a bamboo pole and yet you name yourself burly?”
Su Mo ridiculed Weng Kuiwu for being arrogant and domineering. Kuiwu had even asked Su Mo to screw off. Hence, Su Mo was not going to show him any respect.
“You…oof!”
Weng Kuiwu’s chest undulated and he turned red with anger, before spitting out another mouthful of blood.
He was named as such because his father, Weng Zhen, wanted him to be burly instead. However, despite his name, Weng Kuiwu was skinny just like his father.
Su Mo then turned to look at Tong Wanqiu and said with a smile, “Miss Tong, I’ve defeated this man!”
“Okay!”
Tong Wanqiu nodded and her eyes were beaming as she gazed at Su Mo.
“What is a genius? This is a true genius!”
The so-called geniuses from the Tongs and even people like Weng Kuiwu, seemed pathetic as compared to Su Mo.
“Father, kill him for me! I want him dead!” Weng Kuiwu was already on his feet, and was shouting loudly at his father, Weng Zhen.
Weng Zhen, the Master of the Wengs, was already enraged to see that his son was injured and had even been humiliated by Su Mo. He then turned to look at Tong Lian, Master of the Tongs, and said, “Master Tong, since this young man is rescued by your daughter, that means he isn’t related to the Tongs. I’ll be taking his life then!”

Weng Zhen did not even wait for Tong Lian’s reply before dashing out and nearing Su Mo in an instant.
Everyone was shocked to see Weng Zhen, who was at Lv 2 True Spirit Realm, suddenly attacking Su Mo.
“Oh no!” Tong Wanqiu turned pale immediately, but she was too weak and too slow to stop Weng Zhen.
“Die!” Weng Zhen’s eyes lit up with a murderous desire as he struck at Su Mo’ head with his palm as a claw.
“Netherworld Claw!”
Weng Zhen had used the same move. However, him being at Lv 2 True Spirit Realm, this attack was much stronger than that of Weng Kuiwu.
The pitch-black claw impact was gloomy like a claw from hell. It struck at Su Mo’s head from above.
“Don’t blame me for granting your death wish!”
Unexpectedly, Su Mo did not show a sign of fear, but was actually smiling as he faced Weng Zhen’s fatal attack.
Swish!
A bright sword suddenly appeared in Su Mo’s hand, and he was covered in a dazzling golden glow in the next instant.
Swoosh!
The sword then met the claw impact like a bolt of lightning.
Rip!
The ray of sword radiance was razor-sharp and it tore through the claw impact in an instant and clashed against Weng Zhen’s pitch black palm.
There was no explosion of genuine Qi as the ray of sword radiance penetrated the genuine Vitality that shrouded Weng Zhen’s palm. It went through the center of his palm and into his arm.
The fierce sword Qi that shrouded the sword crushed Weng Zhen’s arm and his meridians almost instantly.
“Ah!”
Weng Zhen cried in pain and retreated hastily.
“What? Weng Zhen’s injured!”
“How’s that possible?”
“…”
Everyone in the martial practice field got the shock of their lives from the situation.
Weng Zhen, who had reached Lv 2 True Spirit Realm, was actually injured by Su Mo with one move. This was beyond everyone’s imagination!
None of them had ever heard that a martial artist at Lv 9 Spiritual Martial Realm was capable of injuring a martial artist at Lv 2 True Spirit Realm with one move.
In reality, Weng Zhen would not have been defeated in one move given his strength. But he had overly underestimated Su Mo!
Of course, any expert at Lv 2 True Spirit Realm would not be serious against someone in the Spiritual Martial Realm, even if he had the strength equivalent to Lv 1 True Spirit Realm.
“How can he be so powerful? Wait, it’s a Medium Lv 3 Sword!”
Weng Zhen screamed in astonishment as he instantly recognized the grade of Su Mo’s sword.
The vast genuine Vitality that shrouded his palm could not be broken easily even by another martial artist of the same level. However, Su Mo could do it because he had a sword at Medium Lv 3, in addition to his incredible strength!
“Die!”
Su Mo shouted coldly as he dashed toward Weng Zhen.
In this moment, Su Mo exerted all of his nine Spiritual Spirals. He was covered in a dazzling golden glow and the sword Qi surrounding him soared high up into the sky. He was radiating a chilling swordplay that made the Tongs disciples nearby felt a sharp pain on their skin from the cold.
Su Mo had mustered his peak combat strength and was going to kill Weng Zhen with one strike.
He had no choice but to do so. His attack just now had affected his injuries that he sustained previously. If he could not kill Weng Zhen in time, his injuries would worsen and cause his strength to deteriorate sharply. Then, he might even lose the strength to protect himself.
