Chapter 108: No Challengers from the Skymoon Country?
Translator: Transn Editor: Transn
The Black Scale Army representative who stepped into the arena was a young man of about 26 years old.
He was also carrying a long saber on his back. His aura was imposing and full of thick evil air.
This was an aura that resulted from years of numerous battles and murders.
The young man was the captain of a 10-member team in the Black Scale Army with the Lv 1 Spiritual Martial Realm cultivation. He had contributed to the victory of many wars.
Judging from the fact that Yuan Zhan trusted him enough to send him for the fight, he was evidently one of the best among his peers in the army.
That youth strode into the arena and drew his saber out of its sheath without a word. With his dense killing desire, he pointed it at Liang Chuan.
“Ha! Here comes another one who wants to die!”
Liang Chuan smiled smugly. “Wonder if this expert from the Black Scale Army can survive a strike from me.”
“Kill!”
The young man from the Black Scale Army suddenly made his move, slashing with his saber. The saber shadow covered the place, bringing with it a choking atmosphere.
The sharp shadow swooshed past as quick as a thunderbolt before finally exploding in the air.
“You’re pretty good!”
Liang Chuan raised an eyebrow after witnessing the strength of his opponent’s attacks and finally became serious.
“Then, let’s see who has the sharper saber!”
His imposing air suddenly exploded and his Sword Qi even more aggressive and relentless.
Boom!
The saber shadow and Sword Qi collided, causing another explosion.
The youth was ultimately weaker than Liang Chuan and was pushed backward several steps in their direct confrontation.
“Go to hell!”
Liang Chuan became even more aggressive and started attacking the young man even more relentlessly.
His blade reflected his indifference. His Sword Qi declared his power.
He continued to slash with his sword one after another, each one stronger than the previous one.
Each slash was ruthless and deadly!
Shortly, the young man had completely lost his offensive stance and could only defend himself.

But this young man from the Black Scale Army was rather extraordinary. Though he wasn’t as strong as Liang Chuan, he relied on his abundant combat experience to deflect his opponent’s attacks at every risky turn.
But there wasn’t just a small gap between their strengths. The young man ultimately lost the fight.
When Liang Chuan slashed for the 14th time, he couldn’t take it anymore and was immediately dyed with blood.
“Bastard!”
Yuan Zhan could no longer suppress his anger and exploded.
He sent even more of his men with a grim face.
Three more soldiers from the army went up the arena one by one.
However, all of them died without exception.
The formidable Liang Chuan of the Ironforest Country alone had killed six consecutive men from the Black Scale Army.
“Long live the Ironforest Country!”
“The Ulti-mystery Sect is invincible!”
“Long live the Ironforest Country! The Ulti-mystery Sect is invincible!”
The Ironforest Country army raised their arms and shouted, so loud that their roars could be heard within a hundred miles.
In that moment, the morale and imposing manner of the Ironforest Country army had risen up the sky.
Over on the Skymoon Country side, everyone wore dejected and unpleasant expressions.
Perched on the wall, Su Mo was looking gloomy as well. The situation didn’t bode well for the Skymoon Country.
The Ironforest Country army soon ended their celebration.
Liang Chuan stood in the arena and turned toward the Skymoon Country army. “Is there anyone who still dares to fight me?”
The Skymoon Country side was instantly silent.
There was no one among them in the Lv 1 of the Spiritual Martial Realm who was capable of defeating him.
If they went up, they would just be digging their own graves!
“Hahaha!”
Seeing as no one dared to come up to the arena anymore, Liang Chuan could no longer hold back his laughter. He said with contempt, “The Skymoon Country is so vast, yet there’s no one in my rank who is worthy of me trying my best. How boring!”
He shook his head and went back to the army.

A killing desire appeared in Yuan Zhan’s eyes. Just as he wanted to go up and kill the arrogant young man himself, he saw another person rushing out of the Ironforest Country army and into the arena.
The person couldn’t even wait for Liang Chuan to return to the camp.
It was another young man. He was slender with long limbs.
He wore a pair of purple metal boots that thumped as he walked.
“I’m Wang Chuhe, an Outer Disciple of the Ulti-mystery Sect with a cultivation of Lv 2 Spiritual Martial Realm. Is there any same-ranked martial artist from the Skymoon Country who dares to fight me?” The young man shouted his introduction.
He raised his head to show his contempt toward those from the Skymoon Country.
Those from the Skymoon Country were surprised. So the Ironforest Country wanted the disciples of Ulti-mystery Sect, from the bottom-rung to the upper ranks, to fight in the arena.
It seemed they had long planned for the Ulti-mystery Sect disciples to defeat every similarly-ranked martial artist from the Skymoon Country.
At this moment, a lot of disciples of the four sects were burning with fighting desire.
The Ulti-mystery Sect disciples wanted to wipe out the Skymoon Country? How could they let it happen!
The disciples of the four sects all had their own pride.
Perhaps they were defeated in the fights between Lv 1 martial artists, but that might not be the case for the fights of other ranks.
Yuan Zhan’s eyes lit up. Was the Ironforest Country trying to challenge the Skymoon Country one rank at a time?
How could they be so confident?
He didn’t say a word. He believed the disciples of the four sects wouldn’t back down from this challenge.
Earlier, he had observed those disciples from the Guanwu City and found there to be several talents among them.
Perhaps the disciples of the four sects could shake their bad fortune in the following fights.
It was as he had expected.
A disciple of the Scorching Sun Sect stepped out.
Su Mo was surprised when he saw who it was.
That person had rushed out was none other than Ma Yue, the one who he punched unconscious for bullying Li Feng several days ago!
He was rather surprised to see that Ma Yue had quite the guts.
Ma Yue leaped across the wall and reached the arena in no time. Very soon, he was only a few steps away from Wang Chuhe.
“I, Ma Yue, will take up your challenge!”
He looked at Wang Chuhe with a cold and grim expression.
His imposing manner exploded and his thick genuine Qi rushed inside him, preparing him to fight at any minute.
Ma Yue’s strength surpassed ordinary Lv 2 Spiritual Martial Realm martial artist and he could defend himself against ordinary Lv 3 martial artists within a hundred moves.
But he didn’t dare to relax in this situation.
He didn’t know how strong his opponent was, but his strength wouldn’t be mediocre if he dared to issue such a challenge.
Wang Chuhe scrutinized Ma Yue from top to bottom and sneered. “Not bad. Maybe you can take three of my strikes!”
His expression was indifferent but his words carried so much confidence.
“Three strikes?”
Ma Yue’s expression darkened. Could that be true?
“Humph! Everyone can bluff. I’d like to see how you’ll do that!”
Ma Yue sounded scornful, but his expression was solemn. He was completely on alert.
Wang Chuhe sneered. “It’s your honor to be killed by my Mountain Leg Techniques.”
He lifted his right leg.
Endless genuine Qi gathered in his leg before finally exploding.
In the next moment, he made his move.
“Mountain Leg Techniques! Shaking Mountain with One Kick!”
He made his kick with a loud cry.
The massive shadow of his leg, like a heavenly pillar, crushed everything around him.
Ma Yue was shocked to see this and an extreme sense of danger started growing in him.
There wasn’t any time for him to think too hard about it. He could only try his best to resist the attack.
Over on the wall, Su Mo sighed to himself.
The moment Wang Chuhe kicked, he knew Ma Yue would definitely be defeated in this fight.

The Undead Revolution
This was my first attempt at writing a story, in hiatus indefinitely. This story follows Silvy, half-elf, a rare race despised by both humans and elves. Having never met her father, the first years of her life were spent together with her mother, who had to leave her native village because of the blasphemy she had committed by giving birth to Silvy. At the age of eight, Silvy became an orphan and was left to fend for herself. Her mother had died of illness, Silvy’s life turning upside down: the child went from living in a modest but cozy home with poor but daily meals to live outside the walls in the slums, where crime was commonplace and food was scarce. Luck had yet to abandon her completely though, because a group of orphans like Silvy decided to help, integrating her into their group and teaching the tricks of the trade; that is, stealing and swindling. But fate had not yet finished playing with her. Kidnapped and frightened, her life will turn upside down again when she awakens as undead, but still able to think clearly.

Unto Dark
A man of cripplingly ill mind, bridled with the spirits and regrets of the past. Wade Pierce trudges through each day of his monochrome existence, only as penance for his sins. Such a man is abruptly decamped of this world courtesy of unapologetic forces, left stranded in a realm filled with unknowns. Armed only with his potent yet fragile intellect, Wade advances into this new abyss, as he attempts to rewrite the wrongs he has committed. Plagued by vile beasts, self-righteous Gods, and even his own seething darkness, the cracks in his mind begin to spread and a dangerous, newfound power bubbles beneath the surface. As the world grows darker day by day, this unfortunate journey begins ------------ I suppose rectitude dictates that I should state any themes worthy of noting here. First of all, this story is not a sunshiny one in the slightest. Since it is listed under the psychological and mature tag and not the comedy tag, that shouldn't be a surprise. Next, morbidity is a factor and general apathy towards human life. All of these are common themes amongst other writers, so nothing new there. The story also contains consensual, and non-consensual sexual activity, although I have tried to be as tasteful as is possible for someone like myself. Finally, the pace is drawn-out, and the language is magniloquent at times. Not to mention, the chapters are quite lengthy. Don't expect to read this halfheartedly... Other than that, enjoy the story... There's nothing more important than that...
