Chapter 46: Ride The Wind And Waves
Translator: Transn Editor: Transn
“Yan Xing, destroy his cultivation, then let him go!” Yan Qi said to the thin boy beside him.
Hearing that, Yan Xing punched toward Su Mo with a diabolical smile.
The crowd was frightened by their actions. They were going to destroy Su Mo’s cultivation just because he had offended them.
Everyone sadly looked at Su Mo.
Now that they had asked for those seats, he had better give them up. It was not worth having his cultivation destroyed just in order to show himself.
However, just when the crowd was feeling sad about Su Mo, something strange happened.
Crack!
With a clear sound, Yan Xing felt a burning pain on his face before he could punch at Su Mo.
A clear handprint appeared on his face.
Yan Xing was stunned!
The others were also stunned!
“Damn, you’re courting death!”
When Yan Xing recovered, his face was livid and blood vessels appeared on his forehead. Yan Xing looked at Su Mo with a strong killing desire in his eyes.
Su Mo had just given his face a solid slap.
Yan Xing was furious. With Genuine Qi spewing around his fists, he was going to attack Su Mo once again.
“Stop it!”
Just then, a loud shout resounded like a big ringing bell, and a great momentum suddenly swept through the lobby.
When people lifted their heads, they saw an old, solemn, and dignified man in a cyan gown walking down the stairs.
“If anyone dares to make trouble in Greeting Guests Inn, I’ll cut off his limbs and destroyed his cultivation.”
The old man’s voice was not loud, but to the others, it sounded like he was speaking right into their ears.
Su Mo closely stared at the old man because the momentum he released was 10 times more powerful than his father’s.
“Senior, I’m the young master of the Yan clan in Purple-hill City. He’ll never be forgiven for disgracing our clan,” Yan Qi said, pointing at Su Mo, after he had made an obeisance to the old man.

“The Yan clan in Purple-hill City?”
The old man squinted his eyes and looked them up and down, then indifferently said, “The rules can’t be broken, everyone is banned from fighting inside this inn. When you’re out of the inn, whatever you do has nothing to do with me.”
Although the Yan clan was strong, the clan behind the old man was not weaker than it, so he was not afraid of the Yan clan.
Yan Qi frowned, he did not expect that his clan’s reputation would not work on the old man.
After considering for a moment, Yan Qi glanced at Su Mo, then waved to the girl and boy, and said, “Let’s go!”
“Er…”
Having reconciled himself to that result, Yan Xing looked at Su Mo with deep resentment.
“Let’s go!”
Yan Qi shook his head, then strode out of the inn.
Yan Xing and the girl in blue followed him. Although Yan Xing was unwilling to leave, he could do nothing.
Outside the inn, Yan Xing asked Yan Qi, “Brother Yan Qi, do we just let that guy go?”
“Humph, we can’t fight inside the inn, but he’ll walk out of it eventually, so we can wait for him outside of the inn,” the girl said with a cold smile.
Yan Xing’s eyes brightened after he heard that.
“Yan Lan, don’t be troubled! He probably came here to participate in the examination of Gale Island. As long as he enters Gale Island, I have a hundred ways to deal with him.”
Yan Qi narrowed his eyes and a cold light flashed in his eyes.
“And if he doesn’t pass the examination?” Yan Xing asked.
“Humph! If he doesn’t pass the examination, he’ll not be a Gale Island disciple, then we can kill him on the spot,” Yan Qi said.
Yan Xing and the girl nodded, then they strode away.
In the lobby, after they left, the old man in the cyan gown glanced at Su mo, then turned around and left.
Sitting in his position and looking through the window, Su Mo saw those three people whispering. He could not hear what they were saying, but he knew that they were thinking of ways to deal with him.

However, he was not afraid of them.
After dinner, Su Mo went back to his room, sat cross-legged on the bed, and released his Devouring Martial Spirit to cultivate.
Su Mo had been practicing to the later stage of Lv 3 of the Elephant’s Strength Skill, and his strength was equivalent to the power of a martial artist at Lv 9 Qi Cultivation Realm.
Therefore, Su Mo decided to stop practicing Elephant’s Strength Skill for now. Enhancing his Genuine Qi and cultivation was his first priority.
Su Mo’s cultivation had been at the peak of Lv 8 for some time, and he felt that his cultivation could step into Lv 9 before long.
When he was cultivating, the time flew by. Two days had passed.
In the early morning, after washing his face and having breakfast, Su Mo walked to the wharf outside the city.
When he arrived at the pier, Su Mo was scared by the scene.
The whole dock was full of people, and the din of their voice reached to the sky. If one had a bird’s eye view of the dock, he would see nothing but heads.
With a sweeping glance of the pier, Su Mo estimated that there were more than 10,000 people gathered there.
Except for a few elders acting as escorts, the rest were all boys and girls. The oldest one was no more than 18 and the youngest was only 13 or 14.
All their faces were youthful and they were excitedly talking to one another.
Since Gale Island’s ships had not arrived, Su Mo stood by the lake and enjoyed the surrounding scenery.
About an hour later, 10 black spots appeared on the surface of the vast lake.
Those black spots got larger and, impressively, they were 10 large warships.
Each warship was 100 meters long with huge sails that were fluttering in the wind.
The words “Gale” on the sails were written in elegant handwriting with vigorous strokes.
Gale Island’s ships had arrived!
Soon, the warships were all docked.
“All those who will participate in the examination of Gale Island get on board now!” cried a majestic middle-aged man on a warship in the middle. His voice was mixed with thick Genuine Qi and sounded like roaring thunder.
People went on board one by one and Su Mo, following the crowd, also embarked on a warship.
Soon, all of the people had completely boarded the warships, which hoisted their sails to set off again.
Star-water Lake had many islands with a radius of 750 kilometers.
Gale Island was located more than 200 kilometers away from Waterside City.
The warships were sailing with the wind, and they would arrive at Gale Island at noon with a speed comparable to a galloping horse.
Looking at the boundless water and surging waves, Su Mo was standing in the prow, thinking that there must be many exciting experiences in the sect.
“Hmm?”
At this time, Su Mo was suddenly awakened by a few gloomy eyes that he felt.
After turning his head around, he found that Yan Qi and his fellows were coldly looking at him from the warship next to the one he was standing in.
Su Mo smiled. “If you act recklessly, I don’t mind turning you into nourishment for my cultivation.”
Then Su Mo no longer cared about them.
The warships rode the wind and waves, and more than four hours later, they finally got close to Gale Island.
Standing in the prow, Gale Island appeared in Su Mo’s field of view.
It was a lush, green island.
He could dimly see a large group of buildings standing in the center of the island and distributed in the mountains, which was spectacular.
Before long, the warships arrived at the pier of Gale Island, where the ships docked and everyone disembarked.
“No one is allowed to wander around on the island. Anyone who violates this will be killed without exception!”
The middle-aged man came to the front of the people and coldly cried, “Now, everyone follows me onto the island.”
Then, he turned around to go onto the island with 10,000 people following behind him.

It would take a lot to catch up to players with such an enormous head start. Lucky for him, he was a special type of gamer. A SpeedRunner So.... It has been a hot minute. I don't like talking about my personal life, but suffice to say I had some fairly bad times for the last couple of years and have only just recently pulled myself back to good health, physically and mentally. I have a very supportive partner, and am put together enough that I want to get back to doing what I love. Writing nerd fiction that I am too embarassed to try to explain when people inevitably ask what my books are about. Still beats when I used to write erotica. Story updates for book 3 should be on a daily schedule, baring unforseen circumstances. The majority of chapters from books one and two have been pulled down to keep with amazon's KU rules. Book one is found here. Book two is found here. If you like the story, please comment or favorite. Each comment goes a long way towards pushing visibility for the story, which means more people get to see it and I feel slightly more validated as a writer. I have a discord now where you can ask me things and I can be like 'no. no. I'm not answering that. no."
