Rebirth: King To Superstar Chapter 38

After another half an hour, he finally received the text he was waiting for. He finally got a message from Jung-hwa. The Star Batch's drama was finally complete and their classmates were meeting at backstage. He took off the earbud he had and kept his hand out, asking Hea-Jung for the other.
"What the time is already up?" She asked with a smile. He just nodded and took the earbud from her. Picking up the bag he brought with his costume inside, he started walking towards the auditorium, with Hea-Jung following closely behind.
As they reached the auditorium entrance, they noticed a batch of students coming out. All of them looked stylish and were all laughing like they already passed the exam. Joon-won instantly knew this was the Star Batch students who completed the exam. They were not even staying back for their results.
The institute was giving the results after their Batch exam was completed and if they wanted to know about their score, then the Star Batch had to sit through their drama too. But it looked like they didn't care about them. Ignoring them, he continued towards the auditorium until he heard someone shout.
"Senior Hea-Jung, is that you?" A male voice called out to them. Joon-won smiled a little as he heard the footsteps behind him stop. He continued towards the auditorium, not looking back.
"Oh, little doggy. It's you. Yes, I'm going to watch the next drama." She responded.
"Oh, Senior, our drama is already over. You missed it. Next is the poor bastard's drama. Where is Senior Hae Yongsun? Is he not with you?" As the Star Batch students got closer to her and a female asked.
"Oh, I know your drama is over. I saw a bit of it and left immediately. It was a nasty drama. No one acted even a bit good, and it wasn't worth my time. I came here to watch the drama which is happening now. So you guys continue and enjoy, I'll be on my way." Joon-won couldn't help but chuckle a little as he heard her indifferent remarks.

It completely shocked the group when they heard her remarks about their drama. They thought the Senior was there for their group and wanted to tell her it was already done. But it seemed like she knew and didn't come for their drama at all.
The man in the middle who originally called her out gritted his teeth and said, "Senior, what in that low-grade drama coming next made you think it was worth more time than ours?"
Hea-Jung, at this point, was getting very irritated as she noticed Joon-won was already making his way inside the auditorium. Her face became cold, and she said, "Hey little doggy, know your place. I responded just now because you know the big doggy, Hae Yongsun. I don't need to explain myself when I say it's shit. If it wasn't for your family, you wouldn't even pass the exam. Do you think I don't know that script was written by none of you and you hired someone else to do it for you? Even if the next drama is shit, they have at least one person who acts better than all of you combined. That's enough for me to attend the drama. So now go away before I make your group regret your life."
She turned around and shouted towards Joon-won who reached the auditorium entrance, "Little brother, wait for me. Your Senior got stopped by a few dogs on the road. I still need to tell you something before you go in." And ran towards him leaving a pale group of students.
Everyone one of them watched as the Senior they greeted completely disregarded them and humiliated them before teaching them their place. They never thought she would suddenly react in such a way, especially the youth she called Little doggy. He was someone who knew Hae Yongsun and hence got to know her. But when she responded like that and humiliated him he could only look down and grit his teeth.

Joon-won sighed when he heard her shout just as he thought he escaped from her. He heard all she said and he only shook his head at how blunt she was. She didn't seem to care about the after-effects of her words.
He went inside and waited for her, not turning back. He wanted to hear what she had to say. After a few seconds, she rushed in panting and looked around to find him. She saw him standing to the side and said, "Little brother, you are the only one who made me run like this after a very long time. How could you do this?"
He glanced at her panting face and said, "Then you should have just stayed with that group instead of running here. It looked like they respect you a lot,"
"Stay with those dogs? I would rather go back home. All of them know nothing but lick my feet." she hissed at them. Joon-won didn't respond to her comment and continued to look at her.
"Well, anyway, I asked you to stop for a reason. Didn't I tell you I'll get you a gift yesterday? The gift came, but it depends on you whether you would get the gift or not. So act your best and not like yesterday. If you do then you will get a satisfactory gift. I promise." she held her already bountiful chest out and said proudly.
He looked at her and said, "Alright, I'll try to do my best then. But it better be a good gift, or else you will not follow and disturb me like these past few days"
Hea-Jung didn't respond but only grinned showing her confidence making him raise an eyebrow Without saying anything else both went the opposite directions in the auditorium.

Milton
A Cyberpunk Coming of Age Tale The Apocalypse is ugly. The only lights that work are battery powered or neon. Scroungers kill your neighbors and take control of their bodies. Gang wars run rampant in the perpetual night, as usual, except now, most members have magical spells to defend their turf. Life certainly changed once the Rainbow Letters came. For Milton, things changed for the better. The world became familiar. He could find loot, learn skills, and equip weapons and armor. It was all much easier to understand than the perils of pre-Apocalypse life with its grocery shopping and going outside. Then he discovers Ragnarok, Orchestrator of the Rainbow Letters and all of Milton’s problems. The race to figure out why is on. If Milton is to survive long enough to find answers, he must first be strong enough to confront his worst enemy: himself. * This is work in progress and NOT professionally edited. * ** This story is humorous in the begining, but gets very dark around the turning point. Reader discretion is advised.**

Not as it seems
Stranded inside the world he'd been writing about for years, Arwen is left at the mercy of the characters and setting he'd so lovingly created. Now trapped and powerless save for his knowledge of the secrets the world holds, he has to find his way back home. Hopefully to make it there in one piece. But things aren't going to be easy, as the further he plunges into his world, the more he will realize things aren't quite what he thought them to be. This story is a case study on a realistic approach to isekai as well as what it means to "know" someone / something, and to "KNOW" them. There will be hard themes and uncomfortable truths, and just like with real life, it will show things as they are unfiltered.

A Generic Dungeon Core Story
When one falls… what happens? Do they just disappear into an endless abyss? Do they got to a final resting place to lay forever? Do they get to look down proudly upon the world from the clouds or look up in regret as they are burned and tortured? One man… person found out the hard way as he fell into a dark abyss after having surely died only to found himself awake again with most of his memories and knowledge blocked of as he was reincarnated into a 10ft cube as a small glowing sky blue orb…. This is my first actual foray to the world of webnovels as I’ve never wrote any stories before… *cough cough * edgy horny filled teenage fanfics do not count whatsoever *cough cough*. I am very new to the world of novels and I am not a native English speaker so expect a lot of grammar mistakes. The story will update on weekends on Saturday or whenever I feel like uploading as I do not have much free time and this is only a novel I write to improve my writing skills. What can you expect from the story? - Dungeons? Of course, this is the main theme of the story. - Multiple leads? Yes, there will be multiple perspectives from many different characters with at least 4 main characters. - Gamelit? The world is ruled by a system… that does absolutely nothing other than a way to view your stats and progression. - Murder hole? No, the lead character has a challenging yet fair view on how dungeons should operate, don’t get me wrong as he will still kill people if they are evil, careless or overestimate their abilities but don’t expect too much death as I feel that most adventurers would be smart enough to know their abilities especially when they have to do it themselves instead on relying on skills or the system. - Cultivation? No, the ability to gain power from sitting still and breathing never made any sense to me and it will be completely broken if the MC gets their hands on it so… no. - Non-human MC? Yes, they are a dungeon after all and yes, dungeons do get avatars but it is a specialized procedure that many choose not to do. Also, if the dungeon gets an avatar, no he will not be some wish giving demigod or whatever. - Magic? Yes, but it is very limited and down to the ground... from my notes... which means nothing - Art? Yes, I’m a hobbyist-artists so expect some art sketches here and there… I am poor so I do not have line art pens or tablets or adobe photoshop… also no scanners so… pictures of pencil-sketches it is, no coloring though since I am terrible at coloring. - Comedy? Yes, if you can call my bad attempts at humor comedy. - Likeable characters? Hopefully… especially since I accidentally made like... 60 characters … how I made 6 originals into 60?… I have no idea whatsoever… - Adventurers/invaders/delvers/etc…? Yes! My favorite part about dungeon core novels are when delvers delve into the dungeon and reading how they react, I will definitely flesh out the delvers and show how they operate more than usual hopefully. Hopefully you like the story, I will not have a patreon or paypal or whatever mostly because I’m under 18, thanks for at least reading this far and I hope that my writing is at least passable and you enjoy the story… if not then at least I got some writing practice in English.
