Yan Jinyi happily picked up her cell phone and applauded with both hands. "Thank you for the support in my career, everyone. Once this place is built, I'll definitely let you guys be the first to visit."

She was beaming with joy as she spoke and couldn't help but grin widely.

Huo Xishen was surprised. 'Does she like this place that much?'

It was rare of her to be in such high spirits.

"Alright, you guys go ahead and do what you have to then. I'll continue with work too!"

She turned around and got ready to leave but Huo Xishen grabbed her sleeve and asked in a low voice, "Darling, where are you planning to go?"

As soon as she took a step out, she was forced to turn back again. Glaring at Huo Xishen, she said, "Let go, I'm going off to work."

"Darling, you have a job too?"

'What does he mean?'

Enraged, Yan Jinyi pointed at Huo Zihang and said, "See that? Huo Zihang is my boss, just ask him if I have a job now or not. At the very least, I'm now a popular actress in the entertainment industry. Didn't you see how many fans I have on Weibo now? I'm reaching almost 10 million!"

Huo Xishen assented calmly. "I didn't check out your page but 10 million isn't considered a lot."

'10 million isn't considered a lot?'

Yan Jinyi frowned and questioned, "Are you using a 2G network to surf the internet?"

She whipped out her cell phone and started searching up Huo Xishen on Weibo. To her surprise, she really found his account.

His account was officially verified too. Yan Jinyi tapped onto his profile to look at the number of fans he had, only to have her smile stiffen afterwards.

'More than 40 million?'

"Did you buy fake fans?" Yan Jinyi pointed to her phone screen and continued, "You only have one post on your Weibo page and it's not even anything personal but a promotion for your company's annual gala. You managed to garner more than 40 million fans just like that? Are you sure you didn't buy followers!?"

Huo Xishen didn't answer her and instead gazed at her affectionately.

"Are your fake fans so dedicated to their work? They even left comments for you."

Huo Xishen obviously wasn't the one who posted that on Weibo. Yet, he garnered more than 100,000 comments.

Feeling indignant and disgruntled, Yan Jinyi took a few selfies.

There were instantly dozens of comments under her post.

Yan Jinyi selected a few comments that were compliments for her and gave each of them a 'like'. "I'm not going to entertain them any longer, I have to go pick out a gown to wear to the film festival tomorrow."

The Beijing Film Festival was one of the four greatest film awards ceremony in the nation and it was certainly going to be a star-studded event.

Apart from Yan Jinyi, the newly popular actress who was currently in the limelight, there were also two other actresses from TG Entertainment who were internationally famous.

One of them was still furthering her education abroad and the other one had just acted in a Hollywood-directed film.

Dressed in an ankle-length gown, she met a woman who was walking towards her, as soon as she came out of the elevator.

The woman had a domineering aura and she was dressed in a mink coat, paired with a pair of ten-inch heels.

She had an elegant face. Although she wasn't pretty, her looks were unforgettable.

When she saw Yan Jinyi, she merely glanced at her before walking past her arrogantly.

Yan Jinyi recognized her. She was Ke Ying.

Ke Ying was one of the actresses under TG Entertainment who had won the Best Actress Award and her solo posters were plastered all over the walls of the lobby of TG Entertainment.

Yan Jinyi ignored her and was about to continue walking forward but Ke Ying suddenly called out to her from behind.

"Wait a moment."

When Yan Jinyi turned around, Ke Ying was already walking towards her.

With folded arms, she sized Yan Jinyi up coldly and arrogantly. "You must be Yan Jinyi, the newbie whom our agency has been actively promoting lately, huh?"

Yan Jinyi assented indifferently after giving it some thought.
