Tao Wei advised too, "Ask Second Young Mistress Huo to intervene. I believe Mr. Peng will spare you from a harsh punishment on her account. Jinyi, you've got good potential, I don't want to see your future and your path to stardom getting ruined just like that!" 

Tao Wei genuinely treated Yan Jinyi like his daughter and took great pity on her, especially after knowing that her parents had died. 

Otherwise, he wouldn't have tried to push for her to become a cast member of Chen Keyi's drama series. 

Yan Jinyi kept a straight face.

Peng Wusheng took out his cell phone and made a call, glaring daggers at Yan Jinyi as he spoke.

"Mr. Peng, please give Jinyi another chance!"

Tao Wei and Chen Keyi's expressions instantly changed.

Yan Jinyi squinted and gently reached her hand out. In the blink of an eye, she snatched Peng Wusheng's cell phone and then smashed it hard onto the ground, causing it to shatter into bits.
