Zhuang Heng suddenly had an ominous premonition, and before he could say anything, a sharp pain came abruptly from the back of his foot.

Zhuang Heng's entire leg turned numb because of the pain. He looked down and saw that there was a mark made by the heel of stilettos on the surface of his expensive leather shoes.

"Beauty, it's not good to be so violent. Be careful, you might be left on the shelf." Pointing at his leather shoes, Zhuang Heng continued, "Apologize to it."

"It's none of your business whether I get left on the shelf or not. Did you apologize to my shoes first?"

Zhuang Heng looked up at Yan Jinyi, not seeming to be angry in the slightest even though she had stepped on him.

In Zhuang Heng's opinion, Yan Jinyi was just like his fan girl who was trying to get his attention.

"Beauty, there's no need to court death in order to seek my attention. Hurry up and apologize before I lose my temper."

'Is he threatening me?'

Yan Jinyi grinned radiantly, making Zhuang Heng a little dazed.

She suddenly took a step forward and stepped on Zhuang Heng's other foot again.

Zhuang Heng couldn't tolerate it any longer and his face became a little pale with pain. Glaring at her with his peach-blossom-shaped eyes, he hollered, "Since you're asking for it, I'll grant you your wish!"

Tao Wei and Tan Sangsang's eyelids twitched. They did not expect Yan Jinyi to be so bold as to step on Zhuang Heng's foot.

"Who do you think you are? I'm following you?" Yan Jinyi questioned with a look of disdain, completely ignoring Zhuang Heng. "You're Tao Wei, right? You won't be at a loss by making me the female lead. I'll get you an investor too. How's the consideration going?"

Tao Wei had found out from some insider information that Yan Jinyi was in an ambiguous relationship with Huo Zihang, but the latter was known to be a playboy who changed girlfriends all the time. 'Can a budding D-lister really get me an investor?'
