I Can Track Everything Chapter 245

Chen Chen and the other human cultivators were fleeing, but they all looked righteous.
According to Chen Chen, they were not fleeing but preserving the fighting spirit of the humans.
In the beginning, some disagreed, but as they ran, they got brainwashed by Chen Chen, and over time, they started believing it too.
Seeing that they had already retreated to the border of Qi and Wei, the group of human cultivators finally stopped.
"Fellow Daoist Chen, if we retreat again, we will be completely out of the land of Qi and Wei."
Some cultivators began to seem conflicted.
If they retreated but stayed within the states of Qi and Wei, it could still be considered a temporary retreat, but if they retreated out of the area completely, it would be considered a total defeat.
When the time came, they wouldn't be able to get a chance to reverse the situation if the demons also left the states of Qi and Wei.
If the war was mentioned again in the future, they would blame the failure on the humans. After all, they had been driven out by the demons.
"We can't withdraw anymore," Chen Chen muttered and then raised his head to look at Zhang Ji.
Bright and early in the morning, Zhang Ji had already told him that the matter had been settled and he reckoned that the Seven-Slaughtering Demon Lord should be back soon.
However, he was still nowhere in sight.
'Could it be that he was blocked in the demon territory?' Chen Chen was extremely worried when he thought about it.
Without the Seven-Slaughtering Demon Lord, they would probably have no choice but to leave this place.
Zhang Ji was even more worried than him. After all, the Seven-Slaughtering Demon Lord was his master.
Just when he was hesitating over whether to pick up his communication token to inform his master and ask about his safety, he heard a cold voice suddenly ring in his ears.
"Zhang Ji, you've done a good job."
Zhang Ji was overjoyed to hear the voice and hurriedly turned around to see that it was the Seven-Slaughtering Demon Lord, who was covered in blood and had turned pale.
"Master..."
Seeing that the Seven-Slaughtering Demon Lord was battered, Zhang Ji's pupils constricted slightly.
The Seven-Slaughtering Demon Lord looked at Zhang Ji and said with a heartened smile, "I'm fine. I could have returned unscathed, but I was worried that the demons might hide the news, so I decided to blow things up. The demons have probably gone into an uproar. Hah, it was worth it, even if I got injured. However, I don't know if I'll have the chance to step into the demons' territory in the future."

As the Seven-Slaughtering Demon Lord spoke, his eyes were full of a trace of hope.
Seeing his master laugh for the first time, Zhang Ji finally felt relieved.
Chen Chen saw the Seven-Slaughtering Demon Lord from afar and heaved a sigh of relief.
With this backer around, he would be able to live peacefully as a hunk.
"Demon Lord, where have you been the past few days?"
The other cultivators were just as surprised, but they soon began to ask him questions.
Of course, that cultivator wasn't trying to blame him at all.
Since the Seven-Slaughtering Demon Lord had come home injured, he had obviously done something important in the past few days.
"I went on a trip to the demons' territory."
At this juncture, the Seven-Slaughtering Demon Lord naturally didn't need to hide anything.
"What!?! You actually went to the demons' territory!?!"
The cultivators were incredibly astonished.
After all, in their eyes, the demons' territory was like a forbidden land.
...
Meanwhile...
Hundreds of kilometers away, the Divine Snow Demon Emperor looked at the communication token in his hand while his eyelids twitched. He had even begun grimacing in anger! The powerful fluctuations in his body were even spreading around incessantly.
"Despicable! Shameless! I didn't expect you to be such a person!"
The Divine Snow Demon Emperor roared loudly because he had just received a message.
The top experts had ravaged the lands of the Berserk Lions and Crimson Foxes in the demons' territory, leaving no demon alive.
The Seven-Slaughtering Demon Lord slaughtered three Essence Soul realm experts, dozens of Nascent Soul realm cultivators, and then successfully escaped back to the human border.
That was not only a great insult to the entire demon race, it was even more so for him!
In the eyes of the demons, the Seven-Slaughtering Demon Lord didn't respond aptly in the three days that he had left.
However, he never expected the Seven-Slaughtering Demon Lord to have gone to the demons' territory.
How dare the human cultivators go to the demons' territory?
The first day that the Seven-Slaughtering Demon Lord vanished, he spent most of his energy on setting up the defense. After all, the humans had sent reinforcements.
On the second day, he fell into a trap laid by others and his plan to attack at night was foiled. The Berserk Lion Demon Emperor was severely injured and an Essence Soul realm powerhouse under his command had died too.

On the third day, he began to inquire about the situation of the other battlefields in a bid to find the trace of the Seven-Slaughtering Demon Lord while repressing the defense line of the human cultivators.
He thought that the various counterattacks that he had launched were not considered intelligent, but they were definitely appropriate.
However, he didn't expect the Seven-Slaughtering Demon Lord to have done such a shocking thing in the demons' territory within just three days!
In fact, he even provoked the Demon God Hall and caused them to issue an order to kill the Seven-Slaughtering Demon Lord!
Anyone who could kill the Seven-Slaughtering Demon Lord would be guaranteed to enter the Void Refinement realm.
"Guaranteed entry to the Void Refinement realm? It's not that easy."
The Divine Snow Demon Emperor laughed bitterly.
The Seven-Slaughtering Demon Lord was so strong that those below the Void Refinement realm could not contend with him at all. However, the Void Refinement realm demons were suppressed by the top human experts, so they couldn't deploy anyway.
The number of experts in the human race was no less than that of the demons. Otherwise, the humans wouldn't have been qualified to compete with the demon race for tens of thousands of years.
If the Demon Venerable didn't attack, who would have the ability to do so?
Although the Demon Venerable had been at odds against the Seven-Slaughtering Demon Lord for years, being at odds and slaughtering each other were completely different concepts. At their realm, their ability to survive was extremely strong, and even the Void Refinement realm experts could not guarantee that they would be able to kill them.
If there was really a Demon Emperor below the Void Refinement realm who could kill the Seven-Slaughtering Demon Lord, he would be able to reach the Void Refinement realm even without the help of the Demon God Hall.
"Damn it! I'm afraid I'll probably be reduced to a laughingstock of the demons from now on!"
The more he thought about it, the more infuriated the Demon Emperor became. He had completely been defeated in the duel this time!
Before he could continue thinking, a figure flew over from behind him, looking extremely panicked and at a loss for what to do!
"Lord! The Berserk Lion Demon Emperor has gone mad after learning about the annihilation of his clan! He has gone straight to look for the Seven-Slaughtering Demon Lord to take revenge!"
"What?! He must be tired of living!"
The Divine Snow Demon Emperor felt his essence soul trembling in anger.
He really didn't know how this burdensome teammate of his managed to survive to see this day.
...
The news of the destruction of the Berserk Lion Demon Emperor and the Crimson Fox Demon Emperor soon spread throughout the entire human and demon territories. The piece of news was like a wet blanket for the Demon Emperors, who were eager to hunt for the Seven-Slaughtering Demon Lord, even giving them the chills.
None of them were itinerant demons, and most of them owned a portion of land in the territory of the demons.
As Demon Emperors, they had all lived for hundreds of years and had countless descendants.
Even though some of their descendants were ruthless and disloyal, they couldn't watch their clans get destroyed, as destruction would mean that they were too incompetent to even defend their clans against the humans.
As for the Demon Emperors who had launched a massacre on the civilians and had subordinates who were experts, they quickly sent their powerhouses back to their clans to guard their territory.
Those who didn't hurried back to the demons' territory in a bid to seek refuge and lay low while relocating.
In just a day, the arrogance of the demons in the human territory vanished, all full of "homesickness."
They soon started influencing each other and all the demons became emotional. The human cultivators achieved victory several times in a row, and the demons that had been fighting hard now had greater chances of escape.
Since the Demon God Hall couldn't even guarantee the safety of their clansmen, who would be willing to put their lives on the line and fight?
No one expected that the destruction of two clans would have such a huge impact on the great battle between the two clans that covered a large area.

Apex Predator
Earth is a fairly small place, but it's all Bath has. It's the only home he's ever known for all of his 500-or-so-million years of life. One day, Bath realized his treasured Earth was being drawn into the next mass extinction ahead of schedule. So, fascinated by the humans and their quick rise to power (after all, setting off a mass extinction is a pretty sizable achievement), what's a nearly all-powerful, somewhat bored, morally ambiguous, savagely violent, shapeshifting alien entity to do other than assume the form of a human and do some front-line investigating? Little did Bath know he would soon stumble upon a mysterious human organization with a gate leading to planets eons away. And that's just the beginning... A story with aliens, intergalactic space travel, mind powers, and an abundance of adventure! Author's note: ON HIATUS! Hello and thank you for reading! Constructive criticism and grammar-policing are both appreciated. Parts 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6 are complete at 1271 pages! Part 7 is in progress! If you've ever read any other web serials, you might've noticed that authors get better with time (that is, their art or writing improves). Wutosama of Metaworld Chronicles noted that the first 20 chaps are always a mess. This is also the case with Apex Predator. The first two parts (ranging just under 30 chapters, or 161 pages) are absolutely subpar. While I have edited them as of 7-10-18, they require a rewrite, which is currently in the works but not complete. For a sample that gives insight into what the latter ~80% of the story's writing style is like, check out chapter 56. Vote for Apex Predator on Top Web Fiction! The Apex Predator Discord is here. Cover: original work done by me, the author, caerulex.

The key to it all is Valerie, a human bred super-weapon, and the discovery she makes aboard the enemy craft Delirium. What to expect from Edge of the Storm: You will find here a slow burning story that is punctured by moments of high flying action, intense mecha battles, gory hand-to-hand combat, tough decisions and sacrifices. The Plan
An infinite world couldn’t be real, but if it was, well this would happen. Imagine a world that isn’t covered in water, but an endless atmosphere. Plates of land, named “islands”, float and drift almost aimlessly. There is no sun, stars, roof, or floor; just boundless air in every direction. Light is generated from the movement of air flow. Magical and mystical powers keep islands floating and the world full of fresh entropy. Some of these floating islands drift upwards or downwards or any combination of volatile or patterned velocities. Air flow also follows the same characteristics of islands, which generates the light and heat. In a world with no horizon, the different inhabitants struggle. Beings calling them selves deities across the endless space are countless. If you were to fall off an island, you would inevitably hit another island; if you didn’t die from old age first. Many inhabitants don’t know the land further than their own eye sight or town they grew up in. Almost all inhabitants of islands have supernatural abilities, ranging in ability and skill. Magical abilities are kept individually; and mystical powers are borrowed. Islands float because the land is enchanted by either a magical or mystical crystal. Magical islands are known for vertical variance, while mystical islands are known for vertical stability. The islands rotate around focal points, known as 'the center'. There are many 'the center', but no one knows this yet... Warning: Tagged Mature 18+ for Strong Language, Gore, Violence, and sexual scenes. Google Drive (Click here to open new window) WIP/spoilers
