"Rawr!" The sabertooth tiger shadow stepped in front of Lance as it swung its claws at him.

Seeing this Lance immediately reacted by bringing out his katana and swinging it at the sabertooth tiger's claws in attempt to parry it.

Clang

"Sam!" Lance called out for his help as he was sweating under the physical pressure from the sabertooth tiger.

"Got it! URYAAAA!" Sam shouted as he bolted from Lance's side and brought down his hammer once more towards the sabertooth tiger's head.

The sabertooth tiger seeing this immediately utilized his shadowstep once more as it reappeared behind Sam.

"The same trick won't work twice on me!" Sam grinned as he immediately turned backwards and brought his shield down to protect him as well as using earth magic to help him cushion the damage.

Clang

Due to the support of the earth magic, Sam was not sent flying like he was last time.

"Grrr." The sabertooth tiger seeing this was not happy as it quickly leapt backwards and kept a distance away from Sam and Lance. However, it did not realize that it was towards the end of the cave as Lance and Sam had already trapped it inside.

"Sam you go out first. I'll distract it with all I have before I dash out." Lance ordered him as he got into a battle stance once more with his katana.

"Got it." Sam said as he turned back and immediately ran towards the outside of the cave.

The sabertooth tiger, seeing this did not like it. It immediately swiped at Sam from a far using its shadow swipe ability. Unfortunately, Lance had already seen it's ability when he used appraisal. Thus he was ready for it.

"Fire Dragon's Fire Slash!" Lance shouted as he brought his sword down aiming it at the tiger who had just launched its shadow swipe towards Sam.

The red chinese dragon immediately started flying towards the sabertooth tiger as it caused destruction among the cave. The sabertooth tiger still had its shadowstep on cooldown as it had used too many previously, thus could not use another one at the time.

The shadow swipe in comparison to Lance's Fire Dragon's Fire Slash was nonexistent. As the moment it collided with Lance's attack, it was devoured by the dragon.

"GAUUUU!" The sabertooth tiger wailed out in pain as it was being burned by the attack.

Lance took this time to immediately bolt out of the cave, once he did he gave the signal to Sam.

Using earth magic, Sam immediately caused the cave they were in to collapse. In attempt to bury the sabertooth tiger alive in there while they still could.

Rumble

BOOM

As soon as the cave had collapsed, a loud thunder struck once more. The crows started to caw even more at night.

"What does this mean! Didn't we already defeat this anomaly?!" Sam cried out as he heard more bad omen coming.

"Well, prepare yourself. I think it's a good idea to run back now yes?" Lance said as he immediately started running back to the boy's dormitory.

"Ah wait up!" Sam cried out as he eagerly tried to catch up to Lance.
