Shao Cheng that has been silently gazing in the distance while constantly planning and scheming on his mind has suddenly paused before gazing at Ren Yuan that has suddenly appeared on his side.

Although Shao Cheng can see that the man apparently has returned to normal, but sometimes he sees a glimpse of the quick flash of frustration that appeared on those grey pupil of Ren Yuan once in a while.

And Shao Cheng just remained composed every single time it happened.

Seeing as a wide smile appears on Ren Yuan's face, Shao Cheng can only take the offered bowl of stew rabbit meat before beginning to eat.

And the idea of showing a smile that the man seemed to have mentioned about being beautiful before has instantly been thrown away after the last failed attempted of Shao Cheng smiling since the man has complained about it being scary.

And Ren Yuan always felt extremely comfortable whenever Shao Cheng spoke with him because at least the young man was accepting his presence while the others were completely ignored.

Shao Cheng who just accepted Ren Yuan wanting to be fed remained silent, because as long as his demand isn't too much while not crossing his bottom line then he will probably obediently follow along what the man wanted to do.

And as Ren Yuan complain about the food he ate, Shao Cheng has placed the spoon back on his bowl and without any hesitation has used the same spoon he fed Ren Yuan with toward his own mouth as he ate a spoonful of rabbit stew.

In which, Ren Yuan couldn't help his eyes from flickering toward the spoon and the young man for a few seconds before returning back to grimacing since his tastebud was devastated by the salty rabbit stew that he has painfully prepared for tonight dinner.

"Better than last time, I see an improvement."

For whatever reason, during the entire time that they are traveling back to the Capital by using the fakes identities of being once of the members of the Pengfei merchant group, Ren Yuan has suddenly stubbornly insisted to cook any rabbit dishes every night.

On the first night of stopping by during their travel, Shao Cheng who still remembered the way that Purple and Pinky have guided Ren Yuan to his location from before has finally deemed it time to give his punishment.

While the only sole reason that saves Pinky from becoming rabbit stew and roasted was the fact that he has human intelligence, his specialness and rareness have saved his life from being eaten because, without any hesitation, Shao Cheng in his present state will not feel guilty of cooking him.

And despite the fact that the five of them slowly travel back to Capital, Ren Yuan and Shao Cheng have decided to rest outside every single night, in which two completely different reasons running in their mind.

Finishing the salty rabbit stew without any change in his expression, Shao Cheng has simply nodded his head while taking the offer berry fruit juice that Ren Yuan has provided while opening his mouth when the man has fed him a snack.

As Shao Cheng chew the food on his mouth, he soon took a sip from the berry fruit juice that he has train Ren Yuan of making.

It was just the simple method of smashing the fruit, adding the juice in the water while a bit of honey into it, which has easily cause Ren Yuan to become extremely delighted to finally have cooking skills.

Although, it was just making a simple drink that couldn't be proud of, nonethless, Shao Cheng didn't remind Ren Yuan of what he really thought about his cooking skill since he knew that Ren Yuan will just become completely depressed after hearing his opinion.

A depressed Ren Yuan is more unpredictable and annoying than ever, that idea flashes on Shao Cheng's mind, and although he might not feel any irritation and frustration at the man sudden antics if he acted out, however, Shao Cheng will stop it if he could.

And since Ren Yuan has been secretly disheartened about the state he was in, then Shao Cheng would just let the man have his peace of mind, while the usual routine that they have become familiar with of feeding each other after they started traveling with PengFei carriage didn't matter in his mind one bit.

While Purple, who has never returned back inside Shao Cheng's body after the misunderstanding transpired just floats next to the unmoving Pinky that has remained stilled, obedient, and quiets every single night while sinking his body in a rather large grass to disappeared in everyone vision has failed to hide since his pink fur is rather eyecatching.

And with a rather nasty and dark joke, Purple poke Pinky with his tail and askings a question in a similar manner when Ren Yuan was asking to be beaten to death, something that he has been doing every night without missing a single time.

"So how it felt like seeing your race being hacked to death, skinned, cooked before being devoured by the human race?"

Purple is truly and extremely curious about how it felt before unable to stop the sigh that escapes his mouth while suddenly feeling an unfathomable emotion deep within him, after all, he was a single special existence without another one appearing anymore in the later future.

And Shao Cheng that has been hearing the entire conversation of the weird creatures in the distance can only shoot a glance their way, which seemed to finally show a tiny bit of disbelief appearing on his eyes.
