"Whitey, what's wrong?"

Hearing the worried voice of Ren Yuan, Shao Cheng has easily controlled his chaotic emotion, shutting it tightly with ease of familiarity as his face remained cold and indifferent without any changes of what he is currently feeling, although it shouldn't really be a problem since he was currently wearing a mask that Ren Yuan has bought the entire time.

However, Shao Cheng should never lower his guard down since the only person that was capable to make him break the numerous mask that he always wears was currently standing by his side and Shao Cheng isn't entirely sure if the man will suddenly become sharp to perceive his current reactions at this moment.

"Ah, the food slip my hand, sorry for wasting what you bought me Big Brother Yu Yu."

Seemingly feeling sorry, Shao Cheng has lowered his head to gaze at the currently dirty white bun in the ground, while in the corner of his mind, he discretely uses his special ability to quickly senses the familiar figure that he has just caught a glimpse of a moment ago.

Slowly raising his hands to pull down his mask and completely covering his face when a few seconds later Shao Cheng lip has raised up dangerously while a freezingly cold light flashes on his sapphire eyes which has been completely hidden by anyone eyes to notice.

The pain which Shao Cheng imagined to have forgotten a long time ago has once more shown its ugly head up as his heart twist in pain and no matter how many years it has past, what happened has always remained.

Unconsciously turning his body around to where he last senses the familiar figure as his feet took a step toward it, hands suddenly have grabbed his right arms causing Shao Cheng to awaken from the slight haze that he unconsciously found himself with.

"Hey! Where are you going?"

With a raise on his eyebrows, Ren Yuan gaze at the young man before him with a relaxed stance, although the entire time, his peach blossom grey eyes have been hiding the deep, sharp and fierce scrutinizing vision that he has been secretly doing, entirely different from the playful grin that he was outwardly showing for people to see.

There is a nagging feeling in the back of his mind that something has spooked and trouble Whitey and Ren Yuan need to watch over the young man or else he will once more lose Whitey from his grasp, the young man running away to who knows where.

Shao Cheng in the split second has pushed the entire thing at the back of his mind, although the familiar figure is important however when he deeply gazes at the older man figure, Shao Cheng knew that there is nothing he can do right now.

Besides, Shao Cheng will choose Ren Yuan more than anyone else in the entire world, the older man is his foremost first priority and nothing will change it.

So with a bit of a smile, Shao Cheng has raised his right hand to point the delicious smelling meat being grilled at the other vendor a few distances away from them.

"Oh, I just want to try that food next."

Ren Yuan following the direction of where Whitey is pointing has let out an amused smile before he was suddenly reminded the time when the young man has asked for a food to eat after waking up from his high fever.

"You and your love for meat."

With a fond roll of his eyes, Ren Yuan has pulled the young man toward it while the entire time, he completely knew that Whitey was trying to distract him from the real problem, although he would have wanted to figure it out and would have made an annoyance out of it in order to get the answer that he requires.

However, one look from the young man has let Ren Yuan close his mouth, while his instinct has let him know that no matter what he does, Ren Yuan will never know about it.

Which is really frustrating and irritating, there are just so many things that he doesn't know about Whitey, although he knew that they are only acquaintances for a few days and should be understandable to not know everything about him but Ren Yuan just want to understand the young man so that he can at least offer some of his help.

Especially the fact that Ren Yuan didn't overlook and neglected to notice about the way that Whitey has never given him his real name, after all, it was completely understandable that Whitey should remember it by now, heck even his hidden guard has never spoken about it and has only used those strange, weird and peculiar names to call the young man.

Ren Yuan wants to open his mouth to ask but even he knew when to respect someone's decision.

So with a helpless smile inside, Ren Yuan can only watch with a fond look at the young man that has once more eating the food from outside, seemingly preferring the commoner food than what they have eaten in that high-class restaurant from before, something he will take a note for later on.

Soon, the night is a bit late which Shao Cheng, Ren Yuan, Xixi and Xing Ning has gone back to the residence to rest for the night, which Ren Yuan has reluctantly left to deal with an important matter despite his unwillingness, seemingly unable to refuse it that Shao Cheng felt a bit curious and interested that he was even thinking to use his special power to spy on him.

And there is no guilt on his face for the shameless and dirty actions he just thoughts of doing, while waving his hands after Ren Yuan has repeatedly told him to not run away again and cause him trouble.

"Whitey, be a good boy and don't go out by yourself alright? You always do that, so please stop it and be obedient this time at least."

Xixi that has been leaning in the wall in the hallway couldn't help but raise her eyebrows from what she heard, it seemed that her cousin will never change that certain hobby of his, at least, she isn't the only one experiencing it now.

Seeing the man walking away, Shao Cheng has turned his attention at Xixi while ignoring the way that Xing Ning has been left out in order to watch over them while Ren Yuan is gone to handle some important matters.

"... Sister Xixi, can you go and pick up the items I forgot to take from another town?"

Hearing the request of her young master, Xixi couldn't help but suspiciously eye him, wondering if this is one of his tricks of trying to run away again after she left to handle what she was being asked to do.

"Why?"

Although she was suspicious but her young master rarely asked her to do some stuff, he was mostly trying to ignore her entire existence if he could, but now here he was, speaking toward her, which is making her heart secretly warm over, after all, this situation before her is evidence enough to tell that her cousin is finally willing to open, especially to the people around him.

Staying silent for a while, Shao Cheng soon has spoken up once more which has caused the woman before him to widen her eyes in great shock before pushing herself away from the wall in order to walk closer toward him in great disbelief.

"Wait? What did I just hear? My Little Ancestor! How could you leave that important object out there?"

Scratching her head, Xixi completely knew that she couldn't refuse her cousin's request this time, after all, how can she just leave the important jade item which was created solely to Shao Cheng which every important member of the main house in the Shao family have after they are born?

That is a great symbol, status, and rank of a person, representing an association that belongs to an aristocrat family that is in power and is honored among the rest of the high-ranking family.

So, once again, how could Xixi just leave that special object alone, where people with wicked and nasty motives would use it in their schemes?

After all, that special object can be used as evidence of any plot that might want to deal with the Shao Family and she couldn't let that happened.

Damn! Shaking her head, Xixi has raised her hand to quickly flick the nose of her cousin in annoyance, knowing that she needs to leave fast now in order to see if the items remain to where her cousin has left it, although she shouldn't fault him since he has been missing most of his memories.

As for leaving Shao Cheng alone to these people, well, her young master has been doing well for a while now so there isn't really no need to worry about it.

Besides, Xixi will just leave for a few days and she extremely trusted her instinct while trusting that Shao Cheng will be able to leave unhindered if he completely wants too, after all, her cousin was capable of leaving her completely undetected despite how talented and powerful she was.

And even though she knew her cousin deep loathe about any form of fighting, unfortunately, the young man is extremely talented in that area which is ironic enough, and scarily smart when he put his mind into it.

So yeah, Shao Cheng will be fine while she was gone, so without further ado, Xixi has turned around and left with a wave of her hands, completely ignoring the great disbelief look from the handkerchief kind man, really such a cute naive man, maybe she will try to introduce him to a better man other than his other friend later on?

"My Beautiful Young Master! I'll be back soon! Please remain in this place so I can see you when I come back alright? Or else, I'll definitely speak about your embarrassing black history to your Big Brother Yu Yu if you're going to be a bad boy~"

With a twitch of his lip, Shao Cheng has silently watched as his cousin left so easily just like that, if it was another hidden guard, they will definitely not left him all alone in this place no matter how trustworthy the people around him are.

Shaking his head, Shao Cheng has taken a glance at the still shocked Xing Ning, probably horrified about how unprofessional Xixi is from her supposed obligation, but right now, Shao Cheng just wanted a quick bath while secretly planning to go out later tonight.

So with that, Shao Cheng walked away.

Soon, after twenty minutes of taking a bath, Shao Cheng has felt entirely refresh while wearing only a white sleeping robe as he walked into his warmth and comfortable bed, after all, he still needs to show that he was being obedient and is going to sleep peacefully for today.

However, he suddenly stops in his footsteps when Shao Cheng eyes narrowed down after reaching the inner chamber of his bedroom, before his lip twitching when he saw Ren Yuan currently laying sideways on his bed while facing him with one of his hands placed upon his head.

And before Shao Cheng can even question about what the man is doing on his bed, at this time and hour while wearing that rather scandalous attire that currently has his chest wide open for people to see, a sleepy peach blossom grey eyes suddenly glance on him in a rather charming way, before letting out a yawn and beckoning with his hand that appears to be seducing him to come closer to do some unspeakable thing.

"What took you so long? I have been waiting for a while now. Come, Whitey let us sleep together now."
