"Damn!"

Feeling the cold ground on his back as Xing Ning lay down while facing the cave ceiling couldn't help but swear while feeling the pain on his left face which was the sudden attack he recieve when he tried to wipe the sweaty face of his friend.

Xing Ning couldn't help but began to question life.

"Hey, Ren Yuan! This isn't fair at all!"

Why is the treatment so different? Whitey can wipe his friend's body, embrace him and even sleep on the same bed with him, well toward the white bear, but how come he receives an attack the moment he tried o take care of him?

He knows that a person who usually has their guard up most of the time, especially a martial art person can move in an instinctive way despite not being conscious, so it isn't surprising for Ren Yuan to be capable to do that when someone gets near him.

But, how come, Xing Ning got attack by his friend?

Although he understood Ren Yuan's personality since he knew that getting near his friend during his moment of weakness might cause Xing Ning to get an attack, however, since Whitey has been alright and was capable to get close to his friend, Xing Ning has believed that he was also able to do it too at the moment.

But it was all a misunderstanding on his part from the look of it though.

And as he stares at the weak and sick Ren Yuan that is still capable of kicking his ass, Xing Ning wanted to swear nonstop before helplessly squatting in a safe distance away from him while holding a wet of a piece of white robe on his hand, unable to do what Whitey has asked him to at the moment.

That young man wouldn't get mad at him for being unable to do it right?

But then Xing Ning remembers the way those crazy sapphire eyes that gaze at his figure in that single moment, which has instantly cause Xing Ning to shudder in fear which something that rarely makes Xing Ning feel toward a person.

No, Xing Ning needed to finish what he was asked to do, oh not because he was scared, it was because all of this is for Ren Yuan's sake in the first place, so bracing himself from being attacked once again, Xing Ning has once again gotten closer to his sick friend.

"Argh…"

While Xing Ning is desperately trying to do a simple task of taking care of a sick person, Shao Cheng is currently braving the snowstorms as his inner white robe on his body continue to flap chaotically from the crazy cold wind while his long black hair messily sways around.

"Roar!"

Despite the situation outside, a dragon roar resounds ou loudly, which has been happening repeatedly, causing Shao Cheng to coldly rebuke the noisy purple dragon that was wrapped around his body in order to survive the current snowstorms while pushing his physical limit to quickly arrive in a certain area that his senses have located which contain the useful medicinal herbs that can help Ren Yuan from his high fever to quickly heal.

"Stop!"

"ROAR!"

Seeing as the purple dragon doesn't listen and continue to shout in a loud voice, Shao Cheng couldn't help but mumble in a complaint about how this purple dragon truly belongs to Ren Yuan in the previous life since it continues to annoy and irritate him the same way.

"Roar!"

His lip twitching, Shao Cheng chooses to ignore the suddenly proud tone from that last roar just now as he uses his internal energy to move around on the current deep snow on his path in order to stop himself from sinking down within it.

While his sapphire eyes have been looking at the white world around him the entire time, which contains no other living thing, all pure white appearing untainted from any form of filth that the world has to offer, causing Shao Cheng to suddenly gaze at the world with empty eyes.

Even before he transmigrated into this world, Shao Cheng has always felt the empty feeling inside him when living his life on Earth making him wonder and thinking if there is even a day where this emptiness will disappear someday?

Although he once complains about wanting to take a rest in the moment of his death in the previous life and feeling tired from all the hard work and suffering he has experienced, however, quite frankly those sole reasons were also what made Shao Cheng felt a bit alive.

It was really such a confusing thought to have, causing Shao Cheng to shake his head to remove it from his mind, somehow after arriving into this world, he started to think depressing and negatives issues which he really needs to stop doing since even he knew how dangerous it was.

"... come on… my Future Emperor is waiting to be saved."

Seemingly reminding himself with those words as he whispers softly, the empty eyes and negative thoughts have instantly disappeared before determination brim within him as his speed of running has quickly moved faster in order to arrive in the location he has on his mind.

Soon after a while, tired pant echoed out at a wide space which is is another part of the Snow Mountain with a hidden entrance to enter it.

Inside it was a frozen ice spike chaotically spread the place, which is dangerous around numerous rocks hill, glittering in beautiful white and transparent color which felt like a fantasy scene, however, everything around the place is quite dangerous.

And in that place, one can see a figure of a young man in white robes climbing the rocks hill that has a sharp ice spike underneath and to his right and left that can cause him to be pierced if he ever makes a single mistake on his actions, thus losing his life.

The entire time, Shao Cheng carefully moves around as he tightly grips the cold rocked to slowly climb up while ignoring the cut palm of his hands that already have blood frozen from on it.

And aside from keeping himself safe from the frozen ice spike all around him, Shao Cheng's entire attention is focused on the green looking vine that is miraculously growing in this kind of environment.

After a few minutes, Shao Cheng was finally able to reach out to take the other wonder medicine that his previous world doesn't have while using his almost frozen and injured hand to carefully pick it up, gently and carefully making sure to not break since what he needed from it was the sap it contains from inside the vines.

This time, Ren Yuan will truly get better after taking this medicine.

With a smile on his beautiful flush face, Shao Cheng once more gets down with careful movement while making sure that the green vine that he places within his robes wouldn't fall off and break apart.

And while doing all of that, Shao Cheng couldn't help but take a warily glance once in a while at the group of the beast all around the place that was being pressured from the purple dragon aura the entire time.

Unlike the big wolf leader, the beast this time isn't easy to tame and a quite rebellious bunch of animals that want to fight back.

Right now, Shao Cheng doesn't have time to deal with these groups of beasts since Ren Yuan situation needs to be quickly dealt with fast, besides Shao Cheng was quite sure that he will recieve heavy injuries if he ever tried to fight against this rather huge beast.

However, one of the beast that has a slight intelligence within it has suddenly let out a restless high pitch roar after unable to restrain itself anymore when one of the green vines was taken away.

And that unexpected loud noise has suddenly caused Shao Cheng that unfortunately had his attention on the green vine so that it will not squish or fall off was startled a bit, after all, they have been pretty quiet the entire time.

Thus his footstep has slipped a bit, causing his body to instantly started sliding down while his pupil constricts at his current situation, however, despite the great danger he was facing, one of his hand didn't forget to protect the medicine inside his robe.

"ROAR!"

The purple dragon that has been wrapped around Shao Cheng has glowed brightly while letting out heavy pressure to keep those beasts quiet.

And at the same time, Shao Cheng felt great strength on his body and without any hesitation, he uses his feet to destroy the frozen ice spike that was about to pierce his body, while his hands have tightly grasped the rock hills which cause his small body to dangle dangerously, where it seemed like he can fall anytime once again.

"Phew…that was a close call…"

Letting out soft words while sweating coldly, Shao Cheng released a deep breath while his heart thunder from fright before quickly getting down once more, this time finally arriving at the bottom and landing safety at the ground causing him to feel great relief.

Although he isn't afraid to die, yet, the thought of what will happen to Ren Yuan if that were to happen, made Shao Cheng feel like he needs to keep staying alive.

Besides, as he heard the roar of the purple dragon which sound like a reminder, Shao Cheng lip raise ironically.

"Yes, I know. Although I am not immortal, I can't die in usual mean anymore right?"

Shao Cheng forgot that he has become some sort of a monster after receiving this special power and accepting the deal with the purple dragon before him.

However, before he can think more about the kind of change his body will become after slowly allowing the purple energies to completely combine within him, Shao Cheng couldn't help but spurt out blood from his mouth.

This is not good, the reason why he doesn't use the purple energies all the time is that his body couldn't handle the strain and stress it does toward it, after all, he is only a mere mortal.

Feeling his eyes about to roll out, while his body dangerously sways, Shao Cheng forcefully keeps himself from fainting while biting his tongue to keep himself awake since he cannot faint now.

Shao Cheng needed to save Ren Yuan from dying from his high fever.

So with that Shao Cheng left the hidden cave, well not forgetting to slaughter the beast that has almost cause him to die just now though.
