Raptor was crying loudly in the restaurant.

Fu Zhi squatted down to check on him, but Raptor thought Fu Zhi was going to stab him, so he screamed and shouted anxiously, "No! No! I'm going to die! I'm going to die!"

"Stop yelling," Fu Zhi hissed. "If you don't stop yelling now, the blood of the wound on your waist is going to dry up."

"If you don't mind me asking, what's that supposed to mean?" Raptor asked.

Ye Jiu scoffed and added, "She's asking you to stand up and take two steps if you're not injured."

Fu Zhi then led Raptor out of the restaurant.

Lu Yumo wiped his mouth with a paper towel and asked Song Fang, "Was the poem I recited not good enough? Why didn't she respond to it?"

Song Fang sighed. "Well, she's a writer. Maybe she's worried that we might overtake her and become the new literary giants."

"You do have a point." Lu Yumo nodded. "Anyway, make sure you don't get Zhizhi's invitation dirty. The jade buckle looks expensive, and Zhizhi will surely sell it."

In an alley outside of the restaurant. Raptor told Fu Zhi the reason he had come to Yu City. "Daddy, I'm really not here to give you a hard time. The Ouyang Family hired me to find the location of the shop owner, so I'm just a wage earner working for money."

'Ouyang Ya hired someone to investigate me?'

Fu Zhi frowned. She had not expected that the Ouyang Family would go this far just to take advantage of her.

She stood in front of a window and fell into deep thought. Then, she said, "You will go back to the Hacker Alliance tonight. I will get someone to forfeit the mission. As for your compensation, I will…"

"!!!" Raptor was stunned.

It took him quite some time before he recomposed himself and found his voice again. "Thank you, daddy! You're the best, daddy! I love you, daddy!"

"Since both of us are members of the Hacker Alliance, it's normal for us to help each other," Fu Zhi said. "Just don't forget to give me money if you really love me."

'Alright then.' Raptor let out a sigh of relief. Then, he asked, "By the way, daddy, will you be coming to the gathering of the Hacker Alliance this month?"

"I have to go to Myanmar at the end of the month, so I don't think I will make it. Also, don't tell anybody about me," Fu Zhi answered.

Raptor responded by pulling an imaginary zip closed over his mouth to tell Fu Zhi that he would keep his mouth shut as tight as a jar.

Fu Zhi and her group then returned to the school.

In the alley, Raptor's phone rang. He answered the call, and D's excited voice erupted. "Hey, brother. I can see from my side that your computer has been fixed. I'm so f*cking awesome! I just simply pressed a few buttons and your computer was fixed! I don't even know which button I pressed!"

"You don't know?" Raptor replied emotionlessly. "I think I know which button you pressed. The pretentious button!"

D was stumped.

'What did he just say?'

"What do you mean by that, huh?" D asked. "Are you itching for a fight?"

Normally, Raptor might have conceded defeat, but today was different.

Siren was his daddy, so there was nothing to be afraid of.

"Alright, stop yapping like a duck. I will be going back to the alliance tonight. By the way, I injured my waist, so help me make an appointment with a doctor. I will go to get some medicine from the hospital first."

"Sure, but you haven't told me what the hell is going on with your computer yet."

"Well, I'm not sure if you would believe it or not. I offended Siren, and she's the one who…"

A little bird told Ouyang Ya that Raptor had been admitted to the hospital.
