The young man’s voice was hoarse and thick with lust.
“Nope,” Fu Zhi answered, her gaze cold and indifferent. Raising her arm, she smacked Jiang Zong’s hand away. “You’re too poor.”
‘He cannot even afford a cup of bubble tea, yet he has the guts to ask me to kiss him?’
Jiang Zong clicked his tongue as he looked at Fu Zhi’s lips. There were some droplets of bubble tea on them, which caused her lips to look even more inviting than ever.
He peeled his eyes away from her lips and looked up. There was a nonchalant expression etched firmly on her face, and it was very apparent that she was not happy with him overstaying his welcome in her room.
He clenched his fist slightly. Then, he put on a smile and said, “In that case, let me marry a few rich women that are older than me. After they die, I will come to marry you.”
Fu Zhi did not know what to say as she looked speechlessly at him.
When Jiang Zong met the young girl’s eyes, he finally remembered that he hadn’t intended to say this to her, nor had he intended to be pleasant when he came to look for Fu Zhi.
Then, he heard Fu Zhi say in a serious manner, “You don’t have to marry me. If you really want to be nice to me, you can keep marrying other rich women and give me money.”
After saying that, she reached out for the cherries on the table. She had changed into a white knitted sweater, and she allowed her hair to stream down her shoulders. When she stretched her arm to reach for the cherries, she exposed a tiny segment of her swan-like neck to the air.

Jiang Zong extended his arm and tried to reach for Fu Zhi again. However, she avoided him this time, which stunned him. By the time he came back to his senses, Fu Zhi had already gotten the cherries and gone away.

Fu Zhi was walking very slowly while Jiang Zong was walking beside her. Besides, Gu Yan is one of the Jiangs now. If you insist on making things hard for Gu Yan, I will withdraw from the competition with her.”
Jiang Zong did not care about the honor of the country at all. He had been born with a sickly body, and he was spoiled. His mood changed all the time, and he was a person whose passions lasted three minutes.
However, he was very serious right now, and he seemed like he was standing up for Gu Yan.

“So you think Gu Yan’s lackluster performance is reasonable, and that I, the team leader, cannot blame her? So this is the reason you came to me?” Fu Zhi replied, her voice grave.
Jiang Zong clenched his fists lightly. Just as he was about to say something, Fu Zhi added, “If you want to stand up for her, it’s fine for me too. Let’s not waste our time. Let’s fight. It’ll be easier that way.”
Jiang Zong was dumbfounded.
The smile on his face faded a little, and he shook his head. “I don’t hit women.”
