She had never seen this side of Alexander before. True, she already knew that the overlord of the Qu Clan was a fearsome man that everyone in the underground world respected and feared for his prestige and known methods of handling his enemies. However, that overlord side of Alexander, the man she married,was never brought out in front of her.

Alexander has been sweet and caring whenever she was with him. He would adoringly and lovingly stare at her even without her knowing, pleasing her, and making sure she felt the love he felt for her. But at this moment, his eyes that contained coldness that he must have held back so he won't scare her miraculously came out from the locked Pandora box.

It seems she had really crossed the line this time, Yan Xiaoran thought to herself.

Biting her lips, she hook her arm in Alexander's arm and pouted, "I was wrong. I shouldn't have ran out first."

"What else?" Alexander's voice sounded from above her head.

Looking down at her feet, she added, "Sorry, I left without telling you."

After a few seconds of silence, Yan Xiaoran didn't hear anything from him. She wondered if he still hasn't forgiven her for what she had done. She knew that it was dangerous of her to ran out without telling him with all the bombs around them and enemies hiding in the dark. Alexander's getting angry at her should be expected since if their positions were reversed and she stood there alone while Alexander went ahead to take care of his enemies without thinking about her opinion for that matter, she would definitely not talk to him for a week until he understood that she didn't want him to be in any kind of dangerous situation.

Still, since eshe already asked forgiveness and acted so coyly and cutely towards him, why was this brick of ice still not saying anything?

Yan Xiaoran wanted to look at him, but a firm and warm finger forced her head to look up at him instead.

Using his index finger to lift her chin, Alexander lowered his head and planted a deep kiss into her mouth. Yan Xiaoran's eyes widened at his actions, and tried to struggled as her face reddened after realizing that Long Hair and When Liu was watching them.

Despite the fact she wanted to answer back to his kiss, Yan Xiaoran could not let any dog dying from envy right now.

Both complained at them in their hearts. One was a single dog, while the other was away from his lover. But both shared the same thoughts and feelings as they could only complain inwardly and not voice it out.

After kissing her, Alexander leaned backward, putting a few inches of distance between their lips. Then, they heard the gasps and loud sighs coming from the guests who were trapped with them inside the party.

From across the room, Jin Woo successfully ripped open the door. There are no more bullets left in his gun, but that didn't matter since the door was now open and ready for them to use to leave this place.

Outside Hotel Le Chat Noir.

Rows and rows of cars were parked in the parking lot. Under the moon, these expensive cars shined and amongst them, a rather old fashioned car stood like a sore eye from these line of commercial cars owned by the invited guests.

Inside that old fashioned car, a man wearing a black suit, white shirt, and black necktie, looked at the entrance of the hotel. He had been waiting for Jack to call him and announced that he had Adam secured.

However, even after the time in the bombs were quickly ticking away, that damn criminal still hadn't reported the situation inside the party.

Rubbing the bumpy and disgusting scar that started from his forehead to his chin, he irritatingly said to the driver, What is going on with Jack? Where is he!"

The driver flinched at the man's nasal voice and shook his head, indicating that he also didn't know what was going on. "Sir, I've been in contact with him since earlier. But suddenly, he hasn't been answering to my calls. Has he figured out that you never planned a way out for him from the very beginning?"

"That's impossible! Jack would never know that I planted an explosive microchip inside his neck!" The man in the backseat denied this possibility. Jack might be strong and brutal, but he's still a dumb man who thinks with his muscles not his brain.

Thus, the mysterious man never believed that Jack would notice his deception. B sides, why would Jack act now? He knew that there were bombs inside the party and pissing the man who got him out of prison was suicidal. But what is exactly happening?

Just as these two men were thinking of what could have exactly happened inside the party, they heard noises coming from inside the hotel. They turned their attention towards the entrance of the hotel once again and in time, they saw the guests who was supposedly inside the reception hall running out of the hotel quickly as if a rabid dog was chasing after them.

"Quick! There are bombs inside! We have to get out of here!"

"Out of my way!"

"Help us!"

The screaming voices that entered their ears soon shocked them to the core.

What was happening?

Did Jack fail?

The mysterious man frowned and tightened his hand around the head of his cane. His eyes vicious as he looked at the fearful and pale faces of the guests still running out with their lives.

"Tell Code 09 to bomb the area!"

The driver looked at the mysterious man through the rearview mirror and said, "But isn't it too late?"

"No, it isn't! So, give him the signal now!"

The driver raised his watch and pressed something there. A red light kept on flashing and from another place near to the event hall, a group of men in black stood awaiting orders. When they saw this light, the man ahead of them all quickly pressed the button to end the remaining few seconds on the bombs.

"BOOM!"

The loud and heart-stopping noise that gave chills to anyone who sees and heard it suddenly went off.
