"Are they going to be okay?" Yan Xiaoran asked.

Yan Xiaoran looked down at the bomb on Alexander's hand and said, "Eight minutes."

Only 4 minutes have passed since they found the bomb, but it felt like an eternity for them. Eight minutes was a short period of time, and anything could happen within that time limit.

"Are we going to survive this?" Shen Liu asked.

"We will." She said in certainty.

"How are you so sure? And why are you so calm even in this situation?" Shen Liu looked at her. How could Yan Xiaoran act so calmly and relaxed in this pressure and when her life is on the line?

This wasn't the first time that her life was threatened.

All her life, Yan Xiaoran was in constant pain and hunger driven by the rest of the Zhao family. They maltreated her and tried to justify their actions by a false accusation of some wrongs she didn't do. At that time, she stayed silently without complaints and received all of them.
