A big smile appeared on Yan Xiaoran's lips. She could no longer deny that she was already healed by her husband's messages. Earlier this morning, she was bummed out because he left her a few weeks after their marriage.

But honestly, she couldn't stay angry at him when he continued to swarm her mind like bees swarming a person who knocked on their beehive. And despite her missing him miserably, she already agreed to let him go and do his work.

After all, she also has some things to deal with in the first place.

The scene of her smiling brightly was the first things Fang Shaoteng saw when he came inside the office, carrying several big bags of items in his hands. He looked quite haggard and breathless standing there.

"Madam here is the items you wanted me to buy." Fang Shaoteng tried his best to show a perfect smile. However, the stark contrast of how tired he looked like and the twitch that hit the corners of his lips will tell anyone that he worked too hard that morning.

Surprised at his sudden appearance, Yan Xiaoran blinked. "Uh… did you just bought everything in one go?"

Fang Shaoteng dumbly nodded his head. Yan Xiaoran wanted to laugh but forced herself not to. She did tell him to buy some things necessary for her and the kid while she stayed there. But she never told him to buy everything in one go!

Also, he could've just ordered someone to buy it for him. Order a group of people to do the task since he was a team leader in the organization. However, this fool dove head first to do all the work.

Feeling apologetic for not clearly telling him that he could buy the things one at a time, Yan Xiaoran told him to take a rest.

But the fool happily shook his head and said, "I don't need rest, Madam! If you have anything else for me to do please don't hesitate to tell me!"

"Fang Shaoteng…" Yan Xiaoran called him.

Fang Shaoteng's eyes brightened. Madam actually remembered my name! He joyously screamed in his mind. "Yes, Madam?"

Two seconds passed and after that momentarily silence.

Yan Xiaoran finally said, "Are you perhaps a… maso…"

"Ah?"

Yan Xiaoran didn't continue her words and said, "Nothing, you can go back now."

Fang Shaoteng didn't get the chance to know what she wanted to tell him and left the room dejectedly. However, the thought of her knowing his name was enough to brighten up his day once again. He hopped to his office like a child given a balloon and shocked his juniors.

Little did he know, he had just created a new image of him inside Yan Xiaoran's head.

Inside the office, Yan Xiaoran was rummaging through the several bags left by Fang Shaoteng. From new dresses and shoes to sets of jewelries and other things she needed, the man did a good job. Thankfully, he was considerate enough to not buy some underwear for her since it would probably embarrass her greatly.

Inside the other bags, she saw several items that were used to take care of a child. Some were even from the commercial videos from the television.

Looking at the child sitting on her chair behind the desk, Yan Xiaoran let out a sigh. She felt like she might need someone's help to take care of Little Koala.

Although, the child was given the name Little Koala, both Yan Xiaoran and Alexander still ended up writing her a new name on her birth certificate. They were finally able to see that it would be unsuitable for the child to be named this way and named her Qu Ying Zi.

Since they were able to legally take her in as their daughter, Qu Ying Zi now carried Alexander's surname and was registered as part of their family and not an outsider. If she have birth a few more children in the future, their children will treat Little Koala as their real sister.

Yan Xiaoran called Fang Shaoteng back and informed him to look for a person inside the organization who could be a babysitter. And she was surprised to hear that Fang Shaoteng volunteered as soon as she finished talking.

"Don't worry, Madam! I have seven siblings and I have taken good care of all of them. Now, they're all attending Capital University. You can't find an expert like me when it comes to taking care of a child." Fang Shaoteng dramatically made his speech.

Little Koala is still two years old so there's no need for her to worry about going to university as soon as possible. But since the man was sentimental about it and quite desperate at that, Yan Xiaoran let him do it anyway.

"You're already getting your monthly salary and since you're going to add more task on yourself, I shall pay you the pay rate a babysitter should get." Yan Xiaoran told him only to see him shaking his head to refuse her, "Is my offer not good enough?"

"No, of course not!" Fang Shaoteng adamantly said. "Madam, you don't have to pay me for this. I like children and taking care of them is my kind of way to wash away my stress. Please let me do this willingly and not pay me."

"But that would be too-" "Please, madam." Yan Xiaoran had no choice but to agree with him.

Finally, Fang Shaoteng started his journey as both a team leader and a babysitter in the organization.

Walking back to her desk, Yan Xiaoran took an hour for her to sign a stack of papers. There was still a mountain of papers for her to read and sign.

While she was pulling pulling out another paper to sign, she didn't see that a black envelope with golden patterns and also sealed with a wax seal was on top of the paper. Thus, when she pulled it, it fell directly on top of her desk.

It lay there before her and captured her attention immediately.

"What's this?" She picked it up and frowned. There was nothing other than the was seal on the surface of the envelope.

Extremely attentive to her, Fang Shaoteng soon looked at her and saw hat she was holding.

He then answered to her question, "That is an invitation for the annual Gathering."
