"How about you Luciano? Do you also think that crushing his bones is a fitting punishment for him?" Alexander suddenly asked him.

Upon having his attention directed at him, the blood in Luciano's face was drained and his back was wet with his sweat.

Cold sweat has been breaking out of him ever since Yan Xiaoran mentioned what kind of punishment that she wanted to hand down to the man.

As if he was poured with ice-cold water, Luciano finally understood that he had done something wrong and Alexander already knew that it was him that ordered the two guys who came out to rain him with bullets.

'Bang!'

Luciano kneeled on both knees on the grass with a loud thud.

No matter how much pride he had on himself as the Don of the Miguel family, Luciano knew that he brought this on himself.

He had just taken the title as the Don of the Miguel family from his predecessor two years ago thus, he didn't have many dealings with Alexander and thought that the young overlord was just a naive young man who got his seat at the highest peak of the Underworld system because of his Yakuza family.

"I was wrong Master Alexander! I wasn't thinking clearly and did that to you! Please don't kill me! I'll step down from being the Don of the family so just spare my life!" Luciano said as he kept his eyes on the floor.

Alexander looked at him with a mocking smile and said, "Haha… Is this a joke? Even a chimpanzee can kneel in front of anyone. Where's your sincerity, Luciano?"

"Huh? S-sincerity?" Luciano raised his head with a confused look.

Alexander nodded and walked towards him before crouching before Luciano so they could see eye to eye. "Correct. Your sincerity. And by that I mean. I want all the names on your list."

"W-what list?" Asked Luciano whose eyes were now enlarged with shock.

Alexander clicked his tongue annoyingly and pulled the man by the collar, "You kept your goons in my territory and sell drugs. I'd like to see the lists of your clients."

As if he was struck with lightning, Luciano stiffened and looked at Alexander's eyes. He knew what Alexander was talking about.

Drugs have been quite a good business to get a fat paycheck. And with this, Luciano got quite a lot of money in his safe.

Last year, he sent some of his people to Japan and some parts of Europe to sell drugs. Of course, it wasn't easy as it was the territory of the young overlord but after a few months of transactions with some clients, Luciano didn't get any report that he was busted by Alexander and that his people were killed.

That is why Luciano bravely widened his net and started to sell a variety of drugs to several people.

However, what Luciano didn't know was that Alexander had been watching at his movements and let him roam free for as long as it didn't disrupt any major streams in Alexander's territory.

But Luciano's brazenness has exceeded as he even tried to bribe Alexander's men to secretly bring out weapons to New York.

Of course, Alexander had already seen through his plans but didn't immediately raise his hand to stop him. He used Luciano to take out the traitors in his employ and those were the people who bit the bait which was Luciano.

"Well? What are you waiting for? Will you give me your list or not?" Alexander wickedly smiled.

"B-but I can't do that! They're my clients and I promised to keep them out of this!" Luciano loudly said but Alexander turned deaf on his words as he stood up.

Yan Xiaoran saw Alexander walking towards her with a smile that could make anyone who'd seen it tremble in fear and hide, but Yan Xiaoran was different as she looked at him calmly.

She looked behind him where Luciano was kneeling on the floor and felt no pity towards him. He was an idiot to think that just because he asked to be spared, her husband would forgive him.

As she was thinking like this, out of the corner of her eyes, Yan Xiaoran saw a glimpse of a silver light flashing. It was too small and it only passed nearly a second but it came from the body of Luciano.

As she felt her heart sinking, Yan Xiaoran pulled her revolver that was tied on her legs with a leg holster and pointed the mouth of the gun forward.

Unknowingly, as soon as she pulled it out to shoot, Luciano's body was already lying limp on the ground. His head had a hole in it where blood was seeping out of it and to the ground. A gun was lying close to his hand.

Yan Xiaoran's mouth parted as she didn't know what had just happened. From her peripheral vision, she could see that no one among the people around them pulled a gun out to shoot him but Luciano still ended up dead before she could even pull her gun out.

She looked around and wondered if there was a sniper somewhere.

As she continued to look around, Alexander had already stood before her. His hand was tucked inside his coat and in his hand, there was a gun that still had a finger on the trigger.

He stealthily put the gun back on his holster and put a hand over Yan Xiaoran's eyes. Even though he knew that she was strong and wouldn't have that much of a reaction to a dead body after what she has gone through but still, he didn't want her to be scared of him once she saw his dark side.

Contrary to what he was worried about when Yan Xiaoran finally realized who shot Luciano, she couldn't help but feel fascinated at his shooting skill.

She pulled his hand down that was covering her eyes and stared at him with pure admiration.

With sparkling eyes, she told him, "Oh my God! Did you do that? That was so cool!"
