"No need, I can do it myself." Yan Xiaoran said. She was slightly surprised to hear him calling her e 'Mrs. Qu'. She pulled the silk dress back to her but it was held tightly inside Alexander's hand and he refused to let go.

She glared at him and heard him say, "Our boutique's service includes helping our clients to change." He held her wrist with his other hand, "Please do step inside the changing room so, I can help you."

"Stop messing around, Alexander."

Alexander grinned when he heard the warning in her tone.

"But I'm not." He shrugged and looked at the store manager who was standing silently at the back, wishing she could blend into the background.

With the encouraging look, he was giving to the store manager, the store manager was forced to say, "Now that I remember, our boutique changed its customer service to distinguish ourselves from other boutiques and now the staff is helping our clients to wear and change their clothes."

Yan Xiaoran stared in shock at the store manager. She was sure that the store manager was in cahoots with Alexander and said those words under his order.

The store manager was also slightly embarrassed after letting those words go out of her mouth. But because she was ordered by the store owner who called her earlier that a VIP was about to arrive at the boutique and that she must do whatever it takes to satisfy this VIP, the store owner followed along with Alexander's wishes.

Anyway, the beautiful woman beside him seemed to be his lover so there shouldn't be any problems, right?

The store manager used the reason that she still has a lot of things to do to leave the lovebirds alone.

After hearing the soft click of the door, Yan Xiaoran kicked Alexander in the leg but he didn't even flinch nor blink when the pointed toes of her high heel hit him.

He somewhat found her little attack amusing and cute like a cat scratching a Lion. He felt that they're getting closer to how a normal married couple would act.

"Did you bribe the store manager for her to say that?" Yan Xiaoran fizzled. With Alexander's personality and wealth, it won't be too impossible for him to even buy the whole store.

"Now now, don't say that. You're making me look like a corrupt official with your words." Yan Xiaoran rolled her eyes at him when he said that in a pitiful tone but she glared at him soon after he said, "But I did say a few words to the owner of this store before coming here."

Yan Xiaoran blew an exhausted sigh. She took the chance to pull the silk dress away from Alexander's hand when he was distracted and went inside the changing room.

Alexander was about to step inside too but Yan Xiaoran held her hand up and said with a smile, "I thought only staff can help me change? Mr. Alexander, why don't you ask around and get me a staff who can come here and help me."

Alexander was surprised at first before he laughed. The way he laughed with his deep voice almost brought Yan Xiaoran on her knees.

Heat crept up her cheeks and she forced herself to snap out of her trance.

"Well? Aren't you going to look for a staff?" Yan Xiaoran put her hand on her hips, "I need the staff's help to change."

Suddenly, Alexander smiled dangerously as he stepped closer to her before he said in a low voice, "Who needs a staff? When you can have your man to help you change?"

After 20 minutes, Alexander was the first to step out of the changing room. His perfectly combed back hair was now a mess but it intensified his seductive look as his black shirt was now sticking to his well-toned body.

Holding his hand out, Alexander waited for Yan Xiaoran to hold it.

She glared at him before taking it. She didn't want to hold it but she was afraid that she would fall on her knees as her legs were too weak to even support herself.

This time, she finally confirmed it…

Alexander is a beast!

Why was the world so unfair? Why is it that she's only one who's tired and weak after what they did inside the changing room?

"You look beautiful in that dress." Alexander looked at her thoughtfully as he licked his lips as if he could still taste her with his tongue.

Yan Xiaoran looked away and tried to walk by herself but who knew that her knees buckled when she took a step forward.

And before she could fall on her bottom on the ground, her forearm was pulled by Alexander and her back hit his hard chest.

"Thank you." Yan Xiaoran said and wanted to distance herself from his body but she was held in place.

Then, she heard him whisper next to her ear, "Careful, love. We don't want us spending our dinner inside the changing room now, do we?"

Yan Xiaoran was torn between laughing and crying. She didn't know why but Alexander seemed to have a strange liking to use their meal times to do certain other things.

"Don't worry, I'll be careful this time." Yan Xiaoran promised before turning her head to look at him, "Speaking of dinner. Have you eaten yet?"

"No, I was planning to take you for dinner." Alexander shook his head before looking down when he rolled his sleeves.

When he raised his head, he couldn't stop chuckling when she saw her wary look.

"Don't worry. I'm really taking you out for dinner. I already reserved us a table in Heaven's Garden." He said as he reached to take her purse from her, "Let me carry this for you."

However, Yan Xiaoran didn't let him carry it. She doesn't need him to do it for her since it wasn't that heavy. Besides, she's afraid that he would open it and see the handgun inside it.
