"Preposterous!" Yi Lou's loud voice echoed throughout the hallway.

"You dare strike a deal with me! Do you know what will happen to you once you walk out of here?" She added on. She couldn't believe that the young woman before her would dare to even negotiate with her!

However, Yan Xiaoran was not intimidated nor scared of her threat.

Stepping forward so she could get closer to Yi Lou, Yan Xiaoran enchantingly said, "Why wouldn't I dare? I will even strike a deal with the devil if it means achieving my goals." Turning around, she continued, "Unfortunately, you're not the devil. You're just an ignorant and shameless woman."

Yan Xiaoran stared at the twins who looked up at her nervously. They didn't expect her to speak so viciously to the woman who made their lives secretly suffer behind Yan Wu Jing.

"Isn't that right?" Yan Xiaoran suddenly smiled and asked them.

Ken and Kenzo looked at each other and both didn't know what to say. But it was Ken who gathered up his courage and nodded his head.

"I see…" Yi Lou sneered when she saw his little nod, "It seems that you two found someone to lean on. But don't worry! I'll get rid of her and the next one will be you two!"

Yi Lou's shrill and annoying voice was bouncing back against the walls of the corridors.

Being the daughter of the Yi family that was known to be Yan Wu Jing's business partner, Yi Lou, naturally didn't find her arrogant and rude personality a problem. Instead, she thinks that everyone who was not included in her family registry was no more than a lowly bug.

The reason why Yan Wu Jing also took her as his lover and let her live inside his home was because of her parents who have backed during all these years thus, he would usually not show opposition towards her wickedness.

Yan Xiaoran stifled a yawn. She didn't see any need to turn around and face such a boring woman. She couldn't believe that her father would actually find a woman like her mother.

Just what was he thinking? Wasn't her mother enough for him to break his heart? Or does having a wicked and shameless woman around him became his fetish?

Of course, Yan Xiaoran knew that it was stupid to think like that since she knew her father wouldn't be too stupid. There must be something that made him not let go of this woman even after seeing her arrogant and selfishness.

Sigh. Still, should she introduce her father to an optometrist so he could check her father's eyes for women?

But what if it was not his eyes? Yan Xiaoran thought. It was better for her to recommend her father to an optometrist and psychiatrist just to be sure.

Maybe, her father could also take this woman there so she can be treated.

Thinking like that, Yan Xiaoran's mood became pleasant.

She didn't even realize that she was once again showing her savageness that she hid unconsciously due to her traumatic experience. It seems that reuniting with her father and facing someone who had a resemblance to her mother's personality brought back the past her.

While she was thinking, Ken and Kenzo were awkwardly staring at her as they saw her smile unwavering even after hearing Yi Lou's words.

They knew that Yi Lou could do anything and with her background, she could easily destroy Yan Xiaoran. However, they didn't know that Yan Xiaoran was already broken and need no repair since she decided to face her past.

The twins didn't even know that in the near future, the young woman before them whom they called 'sister' would now become their pillar where they will lean on and someone they will even give their lives to protect.

Seeing that after her threat Yan Xiaoran didn't say anything and only had her back to her made her ego inflated.

Yi Lou tried reached her hand out and wanted to pull Yan Xiaoran's hair.

"Sis!"

"Elder sister!"

Ken and Kenzo simultaneously alarmingly said. They were startled at the development of the situation.

The twins gasped loudly and went to shout their warnings to Yan Xiaoran so she could avoid it

But to their surprise, Yan Xiaoran didn't avoid it, and instead, she turned slightly to her side and grabbed on Yi Lou's hand and pulled it towards her.

Caught off guard, Yi Lou felt her body falling forward. With her 5-inches tall heels, it wasn't easy to balance her body when her upper body was leaning forward.

Without wasting a movement, Yan Xiaoran grasped Yi Lou's hand and used her other hand to hold her back as she got behind Yi Lou.

She used her strength and body weight to push Yi Lou to the wall.

At this moment, Yan Wu Jing and Secretary Gao were planning to go upstairs with a middle-aged man beside Yan Wu Jing.

The first thing they saw when they stepped out of the room and entered the hallway was the scene where Yan Xiaoran twisting Yi Lou's arm and pushing her to the wall.

Yan Xiaoran didn't care about them as she wanted to fully twist Yi Lou's arm as a punishment. Her sudden action was not what she wanted to do since she clearly knew that Yi Lou was someone important to her father.

However, because of what she experienced in the prison and in the past, her body acted even before her mind could register what to do next.

"Ah!!" Yi Lou screamed in pain and tears started to break from her eyes, "You really did it this time! I'm gonna put you in prison and kill you! You bitch!"

Hearing Yi Lou's threat, Yan Xiaoran grew colder. Her eyes became murderous as she hoped she could crush her head.

No one knew what changed but a trigger was turned on as Yi Lou's threat worked differently on her.

She experienced being put into prison and almost killed by people, why would she try to be demure and be scared?

Out of nowhere, Yi Lou's face overlapped with Zhao Shuxin and her mother's face, making her heart turn cold as she wanted to break the woman's arm.

Thankfully, before she could put the final touch, Yan Xiaoran felt someone touching her forearm as she heard her father's voice calling her name.

"Xiaoran, stop it."
