After driving for over 30 minutes, Yan Xiaoran and her father stopped in front of a tall building in the center of City A.

Once she got out of the car, Yan Xiaoran looked at her father with a confused look on her face, "Why are we here?"

In front of them was the main building of the CE Group. It was the company that handles hundreds of airports across the globe and it was also one of the leading airlines in the country and internationally.

It was said that the CE group owns several other companies aside from their main airlines that were at the top list of airlines in the country, they also invest in several shopping malls and entertainment companies.

Yan Wu Jing didn't answer her as he closed the car door and looked at a man running towards him.

The man stopped right in front of Yan Wu Jing and slightly panted as he greeted him politely, "President Yan... You're back."

Yan Xiaoran looked at her father's wide back with a startle. However, her father was facing the man and with his back on her, he was unable to see the curious look on his daughter's face.

"En. Where's secretary Gao?" Yan Wu Jing asked as he motioned toward Yan Xiaoran to come closer to him.

The man who greeted Yan Wu Jing got curious about who was the young woman president Yan came with. However, he couldn't voice out his thoughts as he answered, "He's currently upstairs with President Mo."

"I see…" Yan Wu Jing looked at Yan Xiaoran and said to the man, "Take my daughter to my office and prepare some refreshments."

"Wha… what? This young lady here is your daughter, President Yan?!" Manager Liu loudly said as he looked at Yan Xiaoran.

He could see that the young woman who was standing beside Yan Wu Jing was extremely beautiful and didn't look one bit like Yan Wu Jing.

Because Yan Xiaoran was born with her mother's look, she and her father didn't look alike.

That was why when Manager Liu saw Yan Xiaoran, he couldn't help but think that she was Yan Wu Jing's young lover or acquaintance and never thought she was his daughter!

There was no written information that said that Yan Wu Jing has a child. He never said anything to his close aides that he had a daughter and there was no news of him having an illegitimate child.

Manager Liu erased the shock lock on his face and immediately put on a bright smile as he greeted her, "Good morning, young miss."

"Uh... good morning to you too." Yan Xiaoran smiled back and narrowed her eyes at her father. She couldn't believe that as soon as they met, he would give her a bomb of surprise.

Yan Wu Jing glanced at her, his expression softened, "You don't have to glare at me like that. I won't keep any secrets from you."

He looked up at the tall building in front of them, "This is the empire I built for the sake of getting you once again. I took a lot of time to achieve my goal and sacrificed a lot. But now, that you're with me. There is nothing that is missing in my life."

Upon hearing that, Yan Xiaoran almost teared up but the shock she got from knowing that her father was no longer the same man as he was in the past was keeping her from speaking.

She knew that in the past, her father would always stay outside due to work and rarely comes home. If this was the result of his hard work at that time, Yan Xiaoran felt happy for her father and once again felt proud of him for what he had achieved.

After coming inside her father's company building, several people kept on looking at her as they make their way towards her father's office located on the top floor of the building.

Aside from the stares that she was getting from the people they passed by, Yan Xiaoran also noticed how the employees of her father would greet him as soon as they caught sight of him and didn't dare avoid him.

Yan Wu Jing excused himself and told her he was going to meet a close friend and wait for him inside his office.

With only Manager Liu as her company and guide of the day, Yan Xiaoran didn't know what to do.

Soon, they arrived at her father's office. She found that her father's office was a wide room with a minimalistic design. Aside from the long office desk at the front and the sofa set at the center of the room, there was nothing else that could tell what kind of hobbies her father enjoyed.

"Miss Yan, please sit anywhere. I'll go and get you something to drink." Manager Liu said and left the room.

With nothing else to do and no one to talk to, Yan Xiaoran roamed around her father's office but because there wasn't anything that was enough to quell her boredom, she decided to sit on the chair behind the office desk.

She looked at the piles of papers scattered on her father's desk and tried to arrange it when the door opened and a young boy wearing a casual attire was standing by the door.

Like a child caught stealing candy from the candy jar, Yan Xiaoran paused and was startled at the sudden intrusion of the young boy.

Similarly to her, the young boy was shocked when he saw her sitting on the president's chair and scowled.

"You!…" The young man alarmingly said when his name was called from behind, making him stop from continuing what he wanted to say.

"Ken! You sly little bastard! Going ahead before me!"

When the boy who called Ken reached the door, Yan Xiaoran was surprised to see that 'Ken' and the boy who came behind him had identical faces. They looked too alike that it was hard to tell who is who.

"Oh? Who's she?" As soon as the boy saw Yan Xiaoran, he tilted his head and with his innocent large eyes, he looked at Yan Xiaoran with an amused gaze.

"Why is she sitting on our father's chair?"
