Capture The Blue-Eyed CEO Chapter 245

[Boss.]

Noah was barking orders on Antonio as they briskly walked to the hangar where his private plane was waiting. Two of the corporate lawyers will be joining them because he was supposed to have an important meeting with them, but Markus called him three hours ago that Jess was sick.

And now, Jess sent him a message. A strange one but somehow he understood what she meant.

She was in a tight spot.

[Copy.] He replied to her message.

His private plane was supposed to leave an hour ago, but after receiving the latest update from Markus that there is a possibility that Jess was poisoned, he contacted a clinical toxicologist to fly with them to India to check on Jess.

Markus promised him that Jess was being taken care of by the best medical specialist but he wanted the best his money could provide.

He contacted some friends and now Jin was driving the clinical toxicologist to the hangar, she would be flying with them to India.

Jess, according to Markus, was still in her room at the villa. The doctor didn't see an immediate danger and they didn't think Jess needed to be hospitalized. Markus was overseeing the blood testing of Jess to find out what kind of poison was in her bloodstream.

Markus kept on telling him that the possibility of poison wasn't one hundred percent sure yet. It was just an idea that the doctor was checking because they don't want to take any chances.

When he and Antonio entered the hangar, the two corporate lawyers were already waiting for them. He nodded to Antonio to start working. He glanced at his watch and called Jin.

"Boss, we are twenty minutes away." He told Noah as soon as he answered his call.

"Floor it!" he snarled at Jin. He has been wrung out since he received the news that Jess was sick.

"Yes, boss."

Noah hung up the call and looked for Capt. Aigasaki to discuss their flight schedule.

He was still discussing their flight schedule with Capt. Aigasaki when the Escalade that Jin was driving screeched on the asphalt of the hangar.

One of the security personnel that was with Jin opened the backseat door and the clinical toxicologist that his friend Clark recommended stepped out of the backseat of the Escalade.

Noah walked towards an assuming woman. She was wearing tattered jeans and Marvel t-shirts. He knitted his forehead and doubted if the girl that came out of the car was really a renowned clinical toxicologist, as Clark said.

Nevertheless, he kept his doubt to himself. He trusted his friend and if he said that this woman was one of the best clinical toxicologists, he believed him.

He extended his hand for a handshake, "Tiefenbacher," he said grumpily.

"Vinna Navarra," she said in a monotone, accepting his handshake.

He raised his hand to lead her to the plane that was waiting for them. Jin stayed behind because he was going to pick up Lucille in Shanghai.

One of the reasons why Noah felt like he was being harassed was because last night Nicole called him to tell him that there was a sudden change to her schedule. She was needed in the laboratory in Switzerland earlier than she was expecting.

When he received the call from Nicole he was over the moon. He was ecstatic with the thought that Lucille would be with him soon, however, when he received the call from Markus, he felt like his body was being torn in two different directions.

He wanted to fly to Shanghai to pick up Lucille but then, Jess was sick and alone in India. Possibly poisoned.

The excitement he was feeling the night before turned into a living nightmare. Jin told him that he was going to pick up Lucille and Soraya.

Before, he was okay with not picking up Lucille because he sent Markus. But Markus was in India and he didn't want him to go anywhere until he arrived with Jess.

He told him that they can just bring home Jess but according to Markus Jess refused and the specialist that was watching over Jess didn't like the idea of moving Jess until they knew what kind of poison she ingested.

And the bastard Markus kept on telling him that they weren't yet sure if Jess was really poisoned since her blood result hasn't come out yet.

Not before long, the plane took off. But even before the plane take-off Antonio and the corporate lawyers that were flying with them were busy discussing work.

Miss Navara was seated at the back of the plane. Janella, one of their flight attendants, was tasked to take care of Miss Navarra.

Meanwhile, the other flight attendant, Amara, was taking care of the men who were discussing contracts.

Noah was left alone in his seat. He waited until their plane reached its flight label and called Jess.

"Hey, baby," he crooned, smiling. However, his smile must not reach his eyes because Jess creased her eyebrows the moment she saw his face.

"Hey, I'm far from dying, why do you like you were already mourning," she smiled, attempting to make Noah feel better. He aged from the last time she saw him, and that was just a few hours ago.

"Dammit it, Jess! That's not a funny joke. Once it's over, I swear to god I will tie you to my side and I will never take my eyes off you. Who gave you the permission to get sick when you are a thousand miles away from me!"

Noah's voice was so full of worry and anguish that Jess couldn't help but feel pity for him. His surroundings indicate he was on a plane.

"Baby, truly I am fine," she said with a smile.

"The last time we talked you told me you are truly fine! And now—fuck!" he cursed under his breath, dragging his fingers across his hair. "Baby, I'll be there as soon as I can, kay?"

Jess nodded as her lips shivered trying to hold her tears. The truth was, she was really scared.
