Loving A STRANGER Chapter 515

At the Finch family's house.
Ethan stood before the window of the study. His coffee was already cold.
He fixed his eyes on the girl who sat on the bench in a bad mood.
He stood by the window as long as she sat on the bench.
Kylie threw out the flying disk again after Pupu bit it back.
Pupu wasn't as agile as before, and it sometimes even stumbled, but it is evident that it was in a good mood.
The wind blew a while later, and the last leaves on the branches fell down around Kylie's feet.
She moved her legs onto the bench and curled up. Those dry leaves shook in the wind and didn't know where to go.
The late autumn put Kylie in a somber mood.
Pupu came back with a flying disk dangling from its mouth. It felt like Kylie's unhappiness, so she sat in front of her in silence.
"Pupu, if I leave here, you must live your life as usual. Do you understand?" Once Kylie reached out her hand, Pupu stuck out its head to let her rub it.
"If he isn't in a good mood, you can act cute before him. Don't be afraid of him. Although he looks cold on the exterior, he has a soft heart."
Pupu made a woof, looking at her, and it seems to feel her loneliness.
Kylie laid her jaw on her knees and rubbed her belly with a hand. "I wonder whether our babies can see their father at first glance when they are born."
Pupu moved ahead and clicked Kylie's belly. Babies in her belly probably liked Pupu very much, as they moved as a response.
Kylie rounded her eyes in shock, seeing her belly lower down after moving up a little. "Pupu, they like you! Did you feel it? They moved!"

Pupu made a strange sound, a long whining, and it sounded like it was asking for attention and love.
Ethan was displeased when Pupu squeezed itself into Kylie's arm. He secretly followed her with his invisible form. He wanted to kick this dog that licks his wife's bully.
Ethan turned around and teleported himself back inside the house. The screen of his phone lit up before he called the housekeeper.
He had worked late last night and muted his phone in case he interrupted Kylie's sleep.
Ethan looked at it. There were three missed calls from Barbara.
"Hi, mother." Ethan's voice was still hoarse.
"Ethan, why didn't you pick up my call? I'm scared." Barbara wasn't relieved until she heard Ethan's voice. "Ethan, there is something I want to discuss with you."
Ethan walked back to the window, but Kylie and Pupu were gone.
Ethan frowned. "I'm all ears."
"No matter how much you hate Adolph, he's your biological father, after all. I know it's hard for you to accept him right now, but he's in danger now, and you should help him out!" Barbara couldn't help raising her voice, thinking that Adolph was in a dangerous situation now.
Ethan leaned on the window. "Couldn't he live his life after giving his shares of Empire Hotel to Kylie?"
"No, but..." At this moment, footsteps sounded outside the study. Ethan was distracted and didn't listen to what Barbara was talking on the phone.
He knew it must be Kylie. "I'll consider it," he said and hung up.
Ethan adjusted his clothing and hair as fast as possible, then pulled the door of the study open and strode out.
He was right. The person walking by the passage was exactly Kylie.
Kylie walked in light steps on purpose and wanted to hear whether he was still in the gym. However, the door of the nearby study opened when her head was about to touch the door of the gym.

The moment Ethan appeared, she withdrew her head.
The passage wasn't narrow, so it was enough for two people walking by shoulder to shoulder.
Unfortunately, they were in a tense relationship right now, and Kylie moved aside when Ethan was walking near.
In Ethan's eyes, Kylie's movement meant she didn't want to be near him, which annoyed him even more.
The farther she moved away from him, the closer he walked to her.
Kylie didn't dare raise her head, let alone watch Ethan's expression. Ethan was a little aggressive, and Kylie ached to disappear now.
After a short while, they were about to walk a separate way with each other.
Right at this moment, Kylie felt too stressed and stumbled herself.
Once she stumbled, Ethan reached out his hand to support her without hesitation.
When his arms already reached the front of Kylie's face, Kylie caught the guardrails to support herself.
It was super embarrassing.
Kylie's sight fell on Ethan's beautiful hands.
"Well, um..." In fact, she couldn't wait for a second to hold his hands.
Is it too late if I loosen my hands on the guardrails and hold his? Kylie thought to herself.
When she tried to figure out a way to do that, Ethan raised his arms and stretched.
It looked very natural and smooth.
Kylie flushed with embarrassment.
He just wanted to stretch his arms!
He must still be mad at me. It's impossible that he would help me all of a sudden.
Kylie lowered her head again and walked away in a hurry.
Seeing that, Ethan was angrier. How could she avoid his hands when he wanted to help her and even left him alone?
He was a man, and he stretched his arms only to save his face after she rejected him.
Ethan stood still and squeezed the guardrails with great force. He was mad at Kylie as well as himself.
Kylie took a long breath out when she left there.
When she was about to push the door of the master bedroom, her phone rang, and the caller was Barbara.
Barbara failed to persuade her son, so she turned to Kylie for help.
Kylie gave Ethan a quick glance. He was still standing in the passage, and she turned to face him.
"Mom, what's up?" Kylie roared on purpose.
Afterward, she glanced at Ethan again. Ethan met her eyes, but he looked angry.

The Undead Revolution
This was my first attempt at writing a story, in hiatus indefinitely. This story follows Silvy, half-elf, a rare race despised by both humans and elves. Having never met her father, the first years of her life were spent together with her mother, who had to leave her native village because of the blasphemy she had committed by giving birth to Silvy. At the age of eight, Silvy became an orphan and was left to fend for herself. Her mother had died of illness, Silvy’s life turning upside down: the child went from living in a modest but cozy home with poor but daily meals to live outside the walls in the slums, where crime was commonplace and food was scarce. Luck had yet to abandon her completely though, because a group of orphans like Silvy decided to help, integrating her into their group and teaching the tricks of the trade; that is, stealing and swindling. But fate had not yet finished playing with her. Kidnapped and frightened, her life will turn upside down again when she awakens as undead, but still able to think clearly.

Fragments of Glass
before the 1939-1945 War, most churches in England had stained glass windows, but despite local people's best efforts many of these windows were smashed in the bombing. What could be repaired was repaired, but in many churches all they could do was reassemble the remaining fragments randomly, with extra bits of clear glass added to eke them out to fill the windows. That is what I imagined for my collection of short stories: fragments of stained glass, bits of robe, bits of faces, all sorts of odds and ends randomly stuck together. And with quite a lot of clear fragments among the coloured ones. Just broken pieces of stories that anyone can look through.

Heartstone
Book 1 is complete. Book 2 is currently updating. For centuries, the portal to another dimension remained closed. Now, it is mysteriously open again, and the link between Earth and Heartstone allows us to journey once more to this magical realm. Book 1 - Arwin arrives in Heartstone and meets some lovely damsels who are unfortunately in distress. He faces off against blue blood nobles to help the people of the Blue Region. Book 2 - Arwin befriends Yaz, a talking skeleton and sets off for adventure. But before they get going, they stumble across a tribe of gorgeous nymphs. All seems fun and games until the goblins arrive. This series is a portal fantasy (isekai) that features wordplay and puns and plenty of cultural references. Reminiscient of Piers Anthony's Xanth series and Terry Pratchett's Discworld, but for a more adult audience. Book 1 is also available on Amazon and other online stores. You can also download from Patreon.

Children of the Singularity (S4)
Even the end of the world had its beginnings. Most reminisce over comforts that seemed so common yesterday even though yesterday was so far away. A select few reminisced over the original pocket that now enveloped the world. It began with the Chernobyl disaster releasing an otherworldly being preying on humanity's very soul. It grew stronger with every scream, it’s corruption instilling absolute bedlam and madness. With the required elements all being present in that fateful year of 2012 the predator found it’s escape in those who became known as the Children of the Singularity. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Artwork by AlexAlexandrov (deviantart)Metro 2033.
