Kylie laughed and said to Ethan in a quiet voice, "We must be careful because there is a little kid with us."

Ethan glanced at Ben. "He can go back home now."

"I'm not going home!" Ben leaned on the back of the sofa. "Mom, I'm starving," he said to Kylie with a pitiful expression.

"Come on, let's have some delicious food." Kylie stood up at once and held Ben's hand, walking to the kitchen.

Ben made a face at Ethan, then jumped with happiness to show his victory along the way.

Seeing Kylie entering the kitchen, Ethan clenched his teeth and raised his arm, which was held in Kylie's arms just then.

The housekeeper walked over in a hurry and wiped the sweat off Ethan's forehead. "Mr. Parker, are you sure you're not going to tell Mrs. Parker?"

When Ethan hugged Kylie in his arms a short while ago, the housekeeper almost dashed out to stop them. However, Ethan seemed to be fine, so he didn't dare do that.

"I fully recovered when I saw my wife," Ethan frowned and said with enthusiasm. "Tell the doctor not to come tonight."

"But the doctor needs to change your dressing," the housekeeper said.

Ethan thought for a while, then said, "I'll go over."

"Sure." The housekeeper was still worried. Ethan's collars were already dampened by sweat. It was apparent that he consumed his energy a few days ago.

Lucy wiped her eyes when she was preparing dinner. Seeing Kylie walking inside with a little boy, she did her best to stop crying. "Mrs. Parker? It's really you!"

"Lucy, I've been absent for just a few days. Are you crying because you miss me too much?" Kylie joked and hugged Lucy.

Lucy looked to the living room, but Ethan made a hand gesture to tell her to keep it a secret. "Yeah, right. Old people cry a lot."

Ethan was seriously injured, but he didn't want to worry Kylie.

"This is?" Lucy noticed Ben.

"Hi, my name's Ben, and I'm Mother Kylie's son." Ben introduced himself.

Kylie beamed and rubbed Ben's head. "My son in the new show. Lucy, what have you prepared for dinner? Is there anything for a kid?"

"Um." Lucy raised her outstretched hands. She only prepared some simple food for Ethan because he couldn't overeat meat now.

Kylie was struck dumb for a second when she saw the food. She knew Ethan hated heavy and greasy food, but there was no meaning at all.

Kylie was confused and wanted to ask Lucy why, but Lucy turned to face Ben at once. "Hi, Ben, what do you want to have? I'll make some for you right now."

"I can eat whatever Mother Kylie eats," Ben said. He was a very considerate kid.

"Well..." Lucy had to meet Kylie's eyes, but she panicked a little. "Mrs. Parker, what do you want to have?"

"I don't have much appetite. Please cook some chicken legs for the kid," Kylie said.

"No problem." Lucy went to cook without delay.

Hearing Kylie's voice, Pupu strode out of the room. Ben got excited the second he saw it. "A big dog!"

"Are you afraid of it?" Kylie asked with a smile.

"Nope." Ben actually trembled a little in fear seeing the big dog, which was as tall as him walking over, but he pretended to be calm. "My father told me a real man isn't afraid of anything!"

Kylie squatted, and Pupu licked her hand. "Pupu, this is Ben, and he's our friend."

Pupu gave Ben a glance but stayed cold.

Ben approached Kylie and asked in a low voice, "Mother Kylie, can I touch it?"

"Sure." Kylie pulled Ben's hand and reached it out to Pupu. Ben was full of anticipation as well as scare. He tried to draw his hand back a few times, but Kylie stopped him.

Pupu looked at Ben's little hand for a while, then leaned its head on it.

Ben was thrilled. Kylie then let his hand go and told him to rub Pupu's head with a glance gently.

"D-Don't be s-scared..." Ben's voice was trembling when he rubbed Pupu.

Pupu directly lay down on the floor to let Ben enjoy the rubbing.

Kylie didn't turn to look at Ethan until Ben happily played with Pupu.

He stood on the terrace. It was a freezing day, but the suit on his back turned out to be dark as if soaked in sweat.

"Ethan." Kylie walked to his back and lightly surrounded his waist. Before she laid her head on his back, she felt he straightened his back up.

Kylie stopped for a second, then moved closer at a slow pace.

She didn't place her head on his back but touched his clothing with the tip of her nose. She smelt some medicine.

"Are you injured?" Kylie walked in front of him.

Ethan pressed her shoulders with his hands. "Yeah." There was a faint smile on his face. "I was super worried when you were missing."

Kylie felt like crying, then kissed his sexy thin lips.

His lips were a bit chapped with the smell of blood in his mouth. When Kylie's tongue stuck in, he murmured.

"Mo..." When Ben was about to say something, Lucy covered his eyes and hugged him away. "Come on, let's eat the delicious chicken legs."

Ethan pressed Kylie stepping forward with his arms on her waist. He used a little force all of a sudden and put her on the guardrails.

Kylie's sight was on the same level as Ethan now, supporting his face with her hands to observe him. "Do you want to keep it a secret from me?"

Ethan compressed his lips but said nothing.

"What has happened to your throat?" Kylie asked. "Your back and your arms?"

Ethan smiled. "You're growingly smart." He kissed her soft lips. "It's fine. Just some minor injuries, and it healed gradually. Look at me now, didn't I look better?"

"Let me have a check!" Kylie said and unfastened the buttons of Ethan's shirt, but he stopped her. "There is a kid."

Afterward, he said with Kylie's ears. "You can enjoy looking at my body as long as you want tonight."

Kylie nodded, then wiped the sweat on Ethan's forehead with her sleeve. "Don't do that again. You must tell me whenever you're injured."

Ethan stared at her eyes for a long time, then said, "Give me your phone."

Kylie didn't understand why he suddenly said that, but she still took out her phone and handed it to him. "I didn't receive any calls from you."

Ethan's slim and long fingers moved on the screen of the phone. He opened something, and a line of complicated code appeared in Kylie's sight.

A few seconds later, the code disappeared but left a line of words on the screen.
