Loving A STRANGER Chapter 449

Ethan kissed her long hair. "How do you know it?"
Kylie held his hand with their fingers entwined. "I have a perfect sense of smell, and I can smell whether it's fragrance or smoke in a second."
Ethan hugged her with his strong arms. Hearing his heavy heartbeats, she felt for him.
"Ethan?" She called him lightly.
"Yeah," Ethan answered.
"I'm not your soft spot." Kylie kissed his jaw with stubble. "I'm your support."
Ethan lowered his head and kissed on her lips.
"I know you'll never forgive yourself if you can't catch the drug dealer with your own hands." Kylie smiled. Her beautiful smile in the yellowish light was engraved in his heart. "If you want to do it, I'm supportive of your decision."
"Kylie," Ethan's eyes became wet. He covered his head in her long hair and felt so grateful that he could marry a girl who understood him.
Kylie raised her hand, and her fingers moved by his brow bone, his beautiful straight nose then stopped at his sexy thin lips.
When Ethan was about to say something, Kylie pressed his mouth.
"Sh, don't say anything." Kylie pulled Ethan's hand to cover her belly.
Ethan focused on his palm. At short notice, something jumped under Kylie's shiny, smooth skin.
"They're moving! They seemed to feel my warm hand," Ethan's voice was full of excitement.
"Yes," Kylie pressed Ethan's hand on her stomach. "Even our babies agree on what I said to you just then. They're also supportive."
"Honey," Ethan hugged her again with great force. He loved this girl so much that he even tried to rub her into his body.
"Ha-ha, stop." Kylie was reluctant to cry, but she couldn't help whimpering.

All of a sudden, a buzzing noise sounded.
Ethan then loosened his arms around Kylie and turned to answer the call from Dinah.
"Ethan, I just followed Matthew walking into the Earth Nightclub. A prostitute in it told me Matthew is a frequent visitor here, and he orders two women every time! He seems much stronger than his age."
"Earth Nightclub?" Ethan frowned. "It's not a good place for a girl. You can let Vincent do the investigation."
"I know," Dinah said, then hung up.
"Did you just say Earth Nightclub?" Kylie asked Ethan.
"How do you get to know that place?" Ethan looked at her.
Kylie thought for a while, then still decided to tell him what had happened between Faith and Vivian. "Vivian was absent today for the shooting, and I saw a woman who looked like her walking out from Earth Nightclub on my way home."
"Are you sure?" Ethan asked.
"I'm not sure, because the woman's head was wrapped in a towel. I thought she could be Vivian from her build," Kylie sighed. "She might be absent again tomorrow, but she must show up at the set the day after tomorrow, and I'll ask her by then."
"Be careful." Ethan pulled the quilt over and told Kylie to sleep.
The next day, Vivian was absent again, but a piece of news about her went abroad.
"I'm surprised she's so warm-hearted," a prop master said.
"I think a woman must know how to protect herself well," a gaffer said.
"She finally has positive news after being criticized for a long time because of her mistress scandal," the production assistant said.
Kylie walked by them and pretended to be curious. "What are you talking about?"

"Hi, Kylie, we're just gossiping." The gaffer smiled at her at once.
The prop master gave Kylie his phone. "We're talking about Vivian. She's the hottest entertainment news now."
Kylie took his phone and read the headline. A famous potential actress saved a girl's life. There was Vivian's photo under it.
The news said Vivian ran into a girl who wanted to commit suicide on her way back home after the film opening ceremony.
She got out of her car and did everything to stop the girl, but the girl kicked and punched her like a crazy person.
Vivian spent much time persuading the girl to cherish her life, and the girl gave up the idea of killing herself at the end. The girl didn't know Vivian's identity until Vivian drove her home.
Seeing Vivian's injured face, the girl felt utterly guilty. Therefore, the girl turned to a reporter and told the reporter the touching story after Vivian was gone.
Kylie handed the phone back to the prop master and said with a smile, "Do you know which hospital Vivian stays at? We can go visit her together after today's shooting."
"I'll go ask someone who knows it right now." The production assistant ran away.
Fannie walked to Kylie's side when Kylie was about to put on make-up. "Since when Vivian became so warm-hearted?"
"It's fake news." Kylie looked at herself in the mirror. "Faith did it. She's helping Vivian now."
Fannie sighed. "Do we need to interfere with it?"
"It's fine. If she can gain much attention, it's a good thing for the new show." Kylie smiled. "I'll go visit her with Ms. Green at the hospital after today's shooting. Help me prepare a good gift for her."
"Sure," Fannie said, then sat on a chair reading news in silence when a make-up artist walked in.
She needed to learn how Faith would help Vivian find a position of influence in the entertainment industry.
During the break at noon, Kylie noticed the familiar car stopped at the outside of the set after she just got her takeout.
"He's really coming every day?" Fannie stood up and left the chair available for Stephen.
Stephen put the Thermos bucket in front of Kylie. "You have an early lunch."
"Yeah, the shooting went well today." Kylie patted the chair next to her and told Stephen to sit.
James planned to discuss the plot with Kylie with his food in his hands but walked away when he found out she had a friend sitting with her.
"James, don't go. Come and eat together." Kylie stopped him.
James smiled at Stephen before he sat down. "Is this...your fiancé?"
"Um." Kylie glanced at Stephen. "He's my fiancé's close brother."
"Oh, nice to meet you. I'm James, and I'm Kylie's husband in the show." James greeted Stephen politely.
Stephen said, "Nice to meet you too."
James approached Kylie's ears and asked in a low voice, "Isn't he the president of Empire Hotel?"
"How do you know it?" Kylie asked.
"I stay there during this shooting, and I've seen him a few times," James said.
Seeing their heads were about to touch each other, Stephen interrupted them. "Kylie, I think you better eat the soup now, or it'll be cool."
"Oh, right." Kylie took James's bowl. "James, you must have a taste of this soup. It's so delicious."

The Legion of Nothing
Nick Klein is your average high school geek--if you can still count as average when your grandfather is a retired superhero, and you've been trained in the martial arts by his friend, a mysterious, immortal mercenary. After his grandfather dies, Nick inherits the last version of the Rocket suit, powered armor that allows him to shrug off bullets, smash through walls, and manipulate sound. Along with it comes the base of his grandfather's superhero team including the team's jet and trophies from forty years of fighting criminals and aliens. Together, Nick and his friends, descendants of his grandfather's teammates, attempt to bring back a superhero team that was originally formed during World War 2. Along the way they'll face the normal problems of high school (bullies, homework, and dating), and the less normal problems like supervillians and mysteries leftover from their grandparents' past. As a story, it uses the conventions of all eras of comics from the 1940s on, ranging from serious to silly. If you're hoping for a grim and gritty story, this isn't it. The Legion of Nothing first debuted on my website legionofnothing.com in 2007. In that period it's updated more than 900 times, is still running, and has had millions of pageviews. The first two years have been released as an ebook, receiving good reviews on Amazon and Goodreads. I hope you'll enjoy it, and that you'll review it and comment.
