Loving A STRANGER Chapter 407

Hearing Kylie's order, Ethan kissed her without hesitation.
Kylie enjoyed his passionate kiss and licked the rain dropped off his face, but he stopped when he was about to penetrate her.
"No, we can't..." He had a heavy breath.
Kylie sat up, hugging him, and pressed his head to her boobs. "It's fine if you just put half into..."
Ethan got rid of her hand and got annoyed. "I'm not listening to Stephen, but keeping the agreement of a half-a-month break!"
Hearing that, Kylie rolled her eyes.
Seeing Ethan standing up running into the sea, Kylie followed up at once. "Hey, are you sure you're going to do that in the water?"
Ethan looked back at her, then pinched her cheek. "What are you thinking?"
"Aren't you...." Kylie said and noticed the rope of the inflatable boat in Ethan's hand. "You want to pull it ashore?"
"Of course, yes," Ethan said.
Kylie laughed. "I thought you are going to masturbate in water, ha-ha."
Once she finished her sentence, she got a light hit on her head.
Ethan pulled the inflatable boat ashore and fastened it around a rock before he took out an automatic tent from it. "Get inside. You'll be caught by a cold if you stand in the rain."
Kylie bent and walked in it, then used a dry towel to wipe her hair. "Do you want to spend a night here, since you've prepared a tent?"
"Don't you like watching the sunrise? It's much more beautiful on the sea." Ethan sat on other edges of the tent and opened the sleeping bag. He let Kylie move inside. "Take off the wet clothes."
The rain in the Maldives came and left on short notice.
There were two people's clothes on the big stone outside the tent, and four feet in the sleeping bag inside the tent.

"Ethan, have you ever thought to find your biological father?" Kylie asked in a gentle voice in his arms. "When people bullied me when I was a kid, they often said that I'm not Laurence's biological daughter."
"I refused to admit it at that time until I found out my real identity. Even though I don't have any feelings for Michael, I still want to see my biological father if I have a chance. The family connection is really unbelievable."
Ethan laid his arms around her with his jaw placed on her shoulder. "We're different. Your biological mother has already passed away, so you want to see your biological father to satisfy your curiosity."
"If the terrible man appears in front of me one day, I think my mother will be the person who's most heartbroken than anyone else." Kylie turned to kiss his forehead, then added, "Well, probably your mother loved the terrible man, and she's still in love with him now?"
"Impossible! I don't want to know who he was. I suffered so much, and I still have some secret that I haven't shared with you," Ethan abruptly straightened his body with cold eyes and stared at her thoughtfully.
"Well, I don't want to force you to share your secret. Just think this way, if your Mom didn't like him at all, why didn't she have an abortion after knowing she was pregnant? Why did she married old Mr. Parker with their baby?" Kylie moved around to face Ethan and held his face in her hands. "Just like my mother. If she hadn't been in love with my father, she wouldn't have kept me."
Ethan seemed annoyed and compressed his thin lips to a hard line.
Kylie understood it wasn't easy for him to accept it, so she replaced the subject with a warm one. "Ethan, let's think of the name of our baby."

Ethan was cheered up at once. "Well, if it's a boy, then his name is Richard Parker; if it's a girl, she can be called Eva Parker."
"Ah!" Kylie covered her belly all of a sudden and rounded her eyes in excitement.
"Jesus, my belly tightened just then. I think our baby likes the names you've mentioned!" Ethan smiled and put his palm on Kylie's belly. "It's too small to have feelings now." Silently, he sent some inner power to the fetus inside Kylie's tummy.
"I promise I'm not lying!" Kylie pulled his hand to the bottom of her belly. "Right here. It tightened for a second just then." She said earnestly.
Kylie hugged Ethan in anxiety to get his approval. "Although our baby is still small, it does like the names you give it."
"Well, probably I 'communicate' with it more often, so it likes me very much." Ethan kissed Kylie to comfort her. "Then, it's settled."
"Great!" Kylie nodded, then remembered something. "Should we tell others if we're going to sleep outside?"
"The housekeeper knows it, and he'll tell them," Ethan said.
In fact, Kylie and Ethan came to this island for vacation, and they, of course, wanted more private time and space.
It was very kind already that they allowed others to have fun on this island, so other people knew they shouldn't disturb them.
Kylie slept a lot these days, and she could easily fall asleep in Ethan's arms. When she woke up smelling something pleasant, there was only her left in the tent with dry clothes put by the sleeping bag.
"Ethan?" She put on clothes, then walked out.
It was almost dusk, and the whole sea surface was dyed red. Something was being cooked in the hanging stove outside the tent, boiling, and the fragrance was coming right from there.
Kylie searched around. The inflatable boat was still there, but Ethan was absent.
"Ethan?" Kylie got nervous.
"Here!" He walked out from a pile of stones with a basket in hand.
"Where have you been?" Kylie ran to Ethan.
"I went to ask some local residents for green vegetables." Ethan handed the basket to Kylie; there were many small green vegetables in it.
"Are there some people living here?" Kylie said, "Isn't it a private island?"
Ethan rubbed her fluffy hair, then took her hand, walking back. "We are no longer on our private island now. I've cooked shell soup, and it should be done soon."
Kylie watched him expertly washing the vegetables and putting them in the hanging stove. "I've asked, and they told me this vegetable also contains folic acid, which is good for you and the baby," Ethan said.
Although he refused to admit that he cared about Stephen's advice, his actions showed that he loved Kylie and their baby very much. Therefore, he would take good care of them according to Stephen's advice.
Before long, the delicious seafood soup was edible. Kylie held the bowl and greedily smelt. "It smells so good!"
"Be careful. It's sweltering," Ethan said, then took the bowl in Kylie's hands and used a spoon to feed her after blowing it cooler.
Kylie smiled with her eyes full of happiness. "I'm not a baby."
"You are my baby forever," Ethan said and reached out the spoon with soup to Kylie's lips.
Kylie took the spoon. She took a mouthful of soup, then fed Ethan. "Will you still spoil me like that after our baby is out?"
Ethan looked at her. "I think I should ask you the question. Will you still love me that much after our baby is out?"

A Prose of Years
For decades, spiritualist Evert Kallstrom and his team have joined in humanity’s millennia-long fight against the beasts. Wielding their weapons and their ki, they fought and killed these great threats to civilization. And yet, despite their efforts, humanity was losing traction in the war. In the last fifty years alone, more cities had been overrun than in all of known history. While most thought the great beasts natural, a few knew the terrible truth. They were the product of a dark lord, who desired neither fame nor wealth nor power. Instead, his sole purpose was the genocide of humanity. While their peers dithered, a small faction of the strongest mankind had to offer—including Evert Kallstrom and his team—set out towards the Deadlands to find and confront this dark lord. After weeks of travel, twenty-one spiritualists found themselves approaching an ancient fortress wherein rested a being known only as the Eastern Guardian. All they found was death. But death has other plans for Evert. Evert bolts awake in his 16 year old body near his hometown, decades in the past. He is confused, poor and weak. But with grit, sweat, and years of experience, he won't let the future repeat itself. That level of strength won't be enough by itself (it wasn’t last time) and victory is hardly assured (he’ll need to reach farther and higher than he ever did), but Evert refuses to squander a second chance. [Other tags: First Person POV, Hard Magic, Faulty Memory] Volume 1 is complete and has been fully released. My current intention is not to write any sequel volumes. That said, I have also released appendices (SPOILERS) that cover the worldbuilding and future story-that-never-was. Comments suggesting fixes for grammar, misspellings, etc. appreciated. Note: If you came here from Candlelit Lives, these stories have nothing in common.
