Loving A STRANGER Chapter 376

Did Ethan take my gifts?
She looked to Ethan, but Ethan refused to meet her eyes.
"What happened?" Old Mrs. Parker gave a glance at Ethan, then looked at Kylie. "Ethan didn't give the gifts to you?"
"Of course, he did." Kylie explained to Ethan and told the truth, "the gifts are for babies, so I didn't take them as my own."
Hearing that, old Mr. Parker nodded with satisfaction.
He sent Kylie an island after all!
Although it was a gift for his daughter-in-law, his grandson would inherit it at the end.
Since Kylie was willing to leave the island to his grandson, he, of course, was very happy.
Seeing her being so considerate, and behaving totally different from the old-time when she had chased Aiden, old Mr. Parker naturally wanted to treat her better.
"The bracelet." Old Mr. Parker looked at old Mrs. Parker all of a sudden. "You don't wear it anyway. Why don't you send it to Kylie?"
Taylor was standing behind old Mrs. Parker all the time, and she felt quite jealous that old Mr. Parker treated a couple of Ethan much better than her.
She married into the Parker family at an early stage, so she had seen the bracelet on old Mrs. Parker's wrist.
It was of very high quality, and it was said to be old Mrs. Parker's ancestral treasure. However, once Ethan was born, old Mrs. Parker took it off and never wore it again.
Taylor had suggested to old Mrs. Parker that she could send it to her, but old Mrs. Parker never agreed.
Nevertheless, old Mr. Parker proposed to send the bracelet to Kylie today!
"It's old Mrs. Parker's ancestral treasure. Kylie often works in the film set. What if it's damaged?" Taylor interrupted.
She had done her best to take good care of old Mrs. Parker, so old Mrs. Parker was gradually accepting her. However, she was still barely comparable to Kylie in old Mrs. Parker's heart.

Taylor compressed her lips, then added, "Kylie, you're not used to wearing jewelry during filming, right?"
Kylie gave her a glance. Taylor didn't seem as arrogant as before, but there was intense jealousy in her eyes.
In fact, Kylie herself had no desire to take old Mrs. Parker's bracelet. It was old Mrs. Parker's ancestral treasure after all, and she was also afraid she could break it by accident.
"Old Mrs. Parker, thank you so much, but I don't think it's a good idea," Kylie said with a smile.
However, old Mrs. Parker seemed displeased at once.
Kylie was nervous.
Even though old Mrs. Parker treated her very kindly now, she might have annoyed her by rejecting her kindness in front of so many people.
Kylie glanced at Ethan, but he still refused to meet her eyes.
Ethan, why don't you help me? Kylie felt helpless.
To her surprise, before she could explain it, old Mrs. Parker said, "You don't need to call me old Mrs. Parker now. You're carrying Ethan's baby after all."
At this moment, Ethan finally opened his mouth.
He looked to Kylie, and his eyes were even tenderer. "Call mom."
Kylie flushed.
"Ha-ha, she feels shy now!" old Mrs. Parker laughed, turning back to look at Taylor.
Taylor couldn't help but laugh too. "She wasn't shy at all when she promised to protect Ethan."
Hearing that, Kylie flushed redder. She hesitated for a long while, then called old Mrs. Parker, "Mom."
"Good girl!" old Mrs. Parker pulled Kylie's hand and gave a glance at old Mr. Parker, who was still wearing a serious look on purpose.
Kylie moved a step forward and called him, "Dad!"
"Great!" Old Mr. Parker felt so happy in the heart but still seemed serious on the face.
"Ahem," Taylor made a sound like a cough on purpose.

Kylie turned to her at once. "Sister Taylor!"
Taylor beamed and took out a small box from her pocket. She slid it into Kylie's hands like she was worried that Kylie might reject it.
Afterward, she pretended to be very proud and said, "It's a gift for the baby." Kylie opened the box and saw a beautiful metal badge in it.
Taylor didn't have much money with her now, and it had taken a long time for her to prepare this gift.
Kylie beamed at once. "Thank you so much, Sister Taylor!"
Nothing was more pleasant than a happy, harmonious family.
Old Mrs. Parker still wanted to send her bracelet to Kylie, so she told Kylie to have a walk with her outside. Taylor understood Ethan was old Mrs. Parker's biological son, so it was very reasonable that she treated Kylie so well.
Therefore, she went to prepare dinner in the kitchen alone, in case she would be jealous again.
It was the first time Kylie had walked in old Mrs. Parker's room, which was neat and tidy.
"Mom, Ethan must have inherited the obsessive-compulsive disorder from you." Kylie soon became naughty as usual.
Old Mrs. Parker was struck dumb for a second, then got used to it. They were a family now, so they should feel free to talk with each other about anything.
"When other kids' parents were still helping their children who were studying in middle school organize their school bags, Ethan already started to do that when he was just in the third grade," old Mrs. Parker said with a smile. "His stuff was all neatly arranged. If I moved any of that, he would have a hunger strike to resist it."
"Wow, he already had a temper at such a young age," Kylie said with a smile. "I can't do it. Even though I'm an adult now, I still lose something once in a while."
Old Mrs. Parker, who was sorting out the things, looked back and smiled. "That's right. Your personalities are complementary, so Ethan and you are a perfect match."
Hearing that, Kylie scratched her head with embarrassment. Seeing old Mrs. Parker coming over with a jewelry box, she stood up in a hurry.
"Mom, I really can't take such a priceless gift."
"It's not priceless at all," old Mrs. Parker said, then opened the box, and there was a very pretty bracelet lying inside.
It must be very rare, given its stunning color and high quality.
Old Mrs. Parker's family must be super-rich too before she married into the Parker family.
Old Mrs. Parker took the bracelet out and helped Kylie wear it. "This bracelet is my ancestral treasure."
It fit Kylie's wrist very well. "Interestingly, my family always has a pair of twins in every generation," old Mrs. Parker added.
"Twins?" Kylie was surprised.
She remembered Ethan had told her old Mrs. Parker had a twin older sister, but there was something unpleasant that had happened between them, so they stopped contacting each other.
Besides, old Mrs. Parker was always unwilling to mention her twin older sister before Ethan, but why did she suddenly said that to Kylie now?
Seeing Kylie being confused, old Mrs. Parker smiled. "Take this one first. If you can give birth to twins, I'll take another bracelet back for you."
Kylie raised her wrist to see the bracelet. It looked even more stunning facing the light.
However, she somehow had a feeling that she had seen this bracelet somewhere before.
