Loving A STRANGER Chapter 353

Kylie didn't have time to explain it to her, but knocked on the door harder.
Lauren panicked, then grabbed a piece of clothing to put on in a hurry.
"Kylie Finch, even if I'll die today, I'll expose your crime!" Lauren stood at the door and shouted, "I'll leave a death note and tell everyone that you're the murderer!"
Kylie, who stood at the outside of the door, was speechless.
She was just kind to save Lauren's life but suddenly became a murderer.
"Lauren Collins, yes, I did set the fire today!" Kylie said to her across the door. "If you can escape, I'll tell Chairman Parker not to delete your part in the film!"
Lauren was struck dumb for a second but remained doubtful. "If I can escape, will you help me?"
Kylie didn't answer her question, and even sneered, "If you can't, don't blame anyone, because this is your life!"
After that, Kylie strode away.
Hearing the footsteps moving away, Lauren was more panicked.
It wasn't easy to escape from the burning flames.
The only exit was surrounded by the big fire, and it was too hot for her to approach the door.
She didn't dare to escape from the window either, although it looked not high, because she had acrophobia.
Just when Lauren felt hopeless and was about to write down her death note, Kylie ran back again.
This time, not only did she come with the landlord of the B&B, but she also took a fire extinguisher in hand.
"Step back!" Kylie shouted, pulling out the pin, then squeezed the handle sweeping from side to side at the base of the fire.
The fire outside was easily controlled, but she didn't know what to do with it in the room.
The landlord of this B&B was a middle-aged man. After the dry powder in his hands was sprayed, he slammed the fire extinguisher on the door. Although the door was loosened a little, he still couldn't open it.
"Try again!" Kylie gave him another fire extinguisher in her hands.

The landlord walked to the door and used the hard bottom of the fire extinguisher to hit the doorknob.
After a while, the door was finally hit open.
Lauren shouted, escaping out. Seeing she just wore a shirt with her legs exposed, Kylie wrapped her in a windbreaker.
"Go downstairs. It's not safe here," Kylie said to her.
Lauren was struck dumb. She didn't understand why Kylie looked so worried now right after she had talked to her with a bad attitude just then.
Lauren even doubted Kylie was pretending. Anyway, she felt so lucky that she escaped from the burning flames and ran downstairs without hesitation.
"It's too dangerous here. You should leave now!" the landlord shouted to Kylie.
"But can you extinguish the fire yourself?"
"I've already made a fire call. Don't worry about it."
In fact, it took a long time for the fire truck to drive to the film and television base, and then to this B&B.
Economic losses were inevitable, but fortunately, there were no casualties.
When Kylie returned to her room to take her bag, the temperature in the room was already extremely high. She quickly rushed to the first floor but didn't see Lauren, who had come down first.
Is she worried that I'll reveal her sexual relationship with the assistant director, so she left?
Kylie didn't think further but waited at the door for the fire truck.
It had been a long time that a fire accident had happened in the film and television base, so many of the crews that were shooting stopped when a fire truck arrived. Everyone looked over with curiosity.
There were also some entertainment reporters who heard the news for the first time rushing in and constantly shooting photos and videos of the fire.
Some people even said in an acid tone, "I think this is a good sign. Director Miller's movie is going to be hot."
"His actors just stayed in, and it's soon on fire. I think he has to be responsible for the loss."

Kylie wanted to call Ethan at the beginning, but he had just returned to his company. If he knew she was in danger, he would come to her at once.
However, the more she wanted to hide it a secret, the more it went abroad.
Some reporters noticed Kylie and surrounded her within a second.
"Kylie, you've kept a low profile recently, and even didn't show up at the latest show of Hamorna TV, but a fire accident happened once you appeared. Do you want to make a high-profile comeback?"
Kylie wiped the dry powder away from her cheek, then said with a smile on her lips, "First of all, I didn't quit, so there is no such a thing like a comeback."
She looked back at the window, which was still smoking before saying to the reporter, "Secondly, I reserve my right to sue you. Your words could damage my reputation."
The reporter was struck dumb for a second but didn't seem afraid at all. Instead, she continued to bombard Kylie with questions.
"Then, can you explain to us why you suddenly disappeared, which caused The Trailblazer couldn't be recorded as planned?"
"I wasn't feeling well back then, so I couldn't join in the recording."
"But someone photographed you when you took a cruise on the sea enjoying the scenery. Do you just value your personal pleasure above your job?"
Hearing that, Kylie had a question in mind.
During the time when she was missing, only a few people knew Stephen had abducted her. In addition, they had been on the sea, so it was impossible that someone could have taken photos of them.
Kylie's looks turned sharp.
The reporter felt a little frightened, then glanced at a place that wasn't far away.
Although she soon drew her glance back, Kylie still caught some details.
The place was exactly where Kylie had seen the glare flashing.
In that case, the person who had been stalking her didn't leave but stayed nearby. Was it possible that the person had started the fire at the B&B?
Kylie had an idea in mind.
"Did he tell you to ask me those questions?" Kylie asked the reporter all of a sudden.
The reporter panicked, and she wanted to glance at the place again, but forced herself not to do so. "Who? I don't understand what you say." Although she sounded calm, she didn't dare meet Kylie's eyes. "I'm a reporter, and I have the freedom of speech and the right to know!"
"Of course." Kylie shrugged. "I think I also have freedom of speech. Sorry, I don't want to answer your question."
"You..." Seeing Kylie was about to leave, the reporter lost her patience. "The assistant director of Dangerous World just ran out disheveled, and you walked out behind him. Is this a coincidence?"
Kylie looked at her and suddenly smiled.
Other reporters saw there could be big news, and all squeezed over reaching out the voice recorder pens to Kylie's face.
When an actress and a male assistant director came out of the same hotel at the same time, it was very suggestive. What was worse, the assistant director was even disheveled.
Kylie glanced through those reporters. Seeing most of them came near, she answered with a serious face.
"I do have a question that I want to ask you."
"Please." The reporter seemed proud because she thought she won.
Kylie pointed at the B&B where the fire was being put out.
"Everyone came after the fire truck entered the film and television base. The question you just asked proved that you were here before the fire truck arrived."
Everyone didn't quite understand what Kylie wanted to say. Only the reporter's face changed a lot.
Without delay, they heard Kylie's calm, cold voice.
"How do you know in advance that this hotel is going to catch fire?"

Greg Veder vs The World
The average person can easily understand that when it comes to living in a villain-infested, crime-filled city like Brockton Bay, treating life like a game can get you killed. It's kind of ironic, then, that Greg Veder has always been far more serious about games than he ever has about life. (Worm/The Gamer AU)

Re:Mento Mori
When Ryuji, a disgruntled salaryman, is supposed to reach an unfortunate end, he is instead thrust into a new world, inhabiting a body that isn't his own. Forced into a world filled with strife and death, can he claim freedom and happiness? Or will his turbulent new life only lead to suffering and pain? As with every time-loop story written by an amateur author, this is heavily inspired by Re:Zero. If I had to explain my book, I would say imagine Re:Zero, but the main character can actually fight people instead of just getting merked every time he meets someone with a weapon. The themes of this story are dark, so be forewarned. This is my first story so keep that in mind while reading it.
