Loving A STRANGER Chapter 213

Ken looked at Kylie and said, "I haven't seen you for ages. Come on, sit down and talk with me. This is the best time for us to talk about something interesting,"
Kylie scowled at him and said, "I'm sorry, but I just don't have time."
"You don't have time for me," Ken laughed, "but you have time for Ethan. How does that work? You really love that man, I guess,"
"What are you talking about?" Kylie replied. "Ethan isn't here! Stop dragging his name into your stupid game,"
Ken drew a cigarette from his pocket, lit it, and said, "Seeing is believing."
"Whatever," Kylie sighed.
Ken smiled at her and arrogantly said, "If I told you that he was with Dora and they were fucking as we speak, would you believe me?"
Kylie froze for a second, and then she snarled at him. "What do you know about Ethan and Dora?" You may have seen them together, but so what? Dora works for Ethan. Everyone knows that, so what are you hinting at? Don't you dare create some gossip about Ethan because you don't know his daily activities,"
"Oh, really, then how sure are you that I don't know Ethan's?" He said again.
Kylie rolled his eyes and said, "Stop your nonsense spouting you're making me feel sick,"
Ken laughed, and then he asked her if she wanted to know where the stocks he'd purchased had come from. Kylie shrugged as she said that she'd assumed that they'd come from Laurence.
"Let's get a table," Ken suggested. "I heard this place makes great cappuccino, and I am anxious to see for myself, and we can talk more about the stocks."
Kylie nodded and allowed him to lead her to a table. "Now that you're famous," Ken said, "if you asked me to, I would consider being your boyfriend."

Kylie laughed. "Not if you were the last person on earth. Let's just get down to business."
"There is no rush," Ken explained. "I have two guards outside. You will not be allowed to leave until I say so."
Kylie looked at Ken and frowned. "This is no way to treat a woman," she sighed as she lit a cigarette. "Perhaps this is why you are perpetually single… Never mind that, though. Just tell me what you want, and then we will have something to talk about."
"I'd forgotten how scrappy you are," Ken laughed. "You are like a breath of fresh air. I should kidnap you more often,"
"The reason that I am holding you here though," he continued, "is because I knew that Dora and Ethan are going to be here any moment, and I thought that you deserved to know what kind of relationship they have – don't you see? I am your friend. I am looking out for your best interests at heart. The man you trusted so much will be going to hurt you,"
"I don't trust your story. Ethan already explained his relationship with Dora to me. Even if they walked in together, it wouldn't prove anything."
Kylie looked into Ken's eyes, and while she had him distracted, she put her cigarette out on his arm. Ken screamed and pulled his arm back. "What the fuck was that about?" he shouted. "Are you crazy?"
"For starters," she replied, "it is for kidnapping me. You are also an asshole. Given a few hours and I could think of a million reasons for this and to cause you much greater harm than that. Don't think that you won't go unpunished for this. The last time you crossed swords with Lord Ethan, he beat the shit out of you. Surely you can see that it will be much worse for you this time… Believe me, he will give no mercy on you,"

"I have a proposal that I think might be good enough," Ken said, "that after you hear it, you might ask Ethan to show me mercy. I know where your shares came from, and I know how to get you another ten percent."
"Is that actually possible?" Kylie gasped.
"You should know that I am an expert at manipulating people to get what I want," Ken replied. It is because I am willing to act unethically for profit. One time I made a million dollars by taking pictures of a millionaire with his mistress. It is a cold world out there, and it is easily exploited."
The coffee arrived, and Kylie took a sip and found that it was too hot. She looked at Ken and said, "I know that you don't want Ethan to beat you up, but what is your primary reason for bringing me here?"
Before Ken could answer, they heard a moan coming from the back room. Ken smiled and said, "I wonder if that's Ethan and Dora? It certainly sounds like them…"
Kylie's mouth nearly dropped to the floor, and she tried to convince herself that it wasn't.
The moaning got louder, and Ken said, "I wasn't certain at first, but they definitely sound like Ethan and Dora… Are you going to put up with that?"
Out of jealousy and anger, Kylie couldn't control her emotion. If that's Ethan, she will surely cut his lower head. She can't accept the fact that her husband will have another woman behind her back. Several thoughts ran down her mind.
Kylie stood up quickly, slammed her fist on the table, and said, "They are not going to get away with this. I am going in and, when I get my hands on them, they will wish that they'd never been born!"
Ken smiled and said, "Go get them, Tiger!"
Kylie ran into the back, kicked the door open, and was met with quite a surprise. It wasn't Ethan and Dora. Kylie muttered an apology as the man told her to fuck off.
Kylie's face was red when she returned. Ken was laughing, and, once she was seated, he said, "You are quite the voyeur, aren't you? Did you like what you saw?"
Kylie slapped him across the face and shouted at him: "You knew that wasn't them, and you set me up intentionally! Why?"
