Kylie sighed tiredly when she closed the room door. It was as if pushing Aiden out of the room was symbolic of pushing him out of her life once and for all. However, for some reason, she knew this was not the last time she would hear from Aiden.

Kylie turned around tepidly and faced Ethan not wanting to see his reaction on all that had taken place just now. Ethan was still standing, his poise still stoic, and his expression cold. His eyes were staring at her as if penetrating her soul. Kylie walked over slowly and wrapped herself in his open embrace. What answered her was his muscular arms and an aggressive kiss that took her breath away.

They both broke apart a minute later, gasping for air. Ethan traced her face with his soft touch and spoke slowly, "He didn't have the right to do that."

Kylie nodded in response and smiled at his protectiveness, but Ethan was completely serious. His eyes were like burning lights in the dark night, warming up Kylie from head to toe.

Kylie did not want to see him mad at her, so she held his neck and started peppering his skin with butterfly kisses. Of course, Ethan could not refuse her, and he immediately tilted his neck up to give her more access to making Kylie laugh. Continuing on from where Aiden Parker had interrupted them, Ethan turned Kylie around and gently laid Kylie on the bed and lifted up her shirt.

"Oh," Kylie dumbly replied, speechless at the thoughtfulness of his actions and words. She had expected a man to do anything for lovemaking, especially if a girl was asking for it. That was the different thing about Ethan, Kylie guessed. He was a gentleman, especially with her, and that is what made her fall in love with him.

Ethan turned Kylie around and held her jaw, making her look up at him. "You are my wife, and I want you to lower all your guards with me. In my world, you are my queen. I want you to realize that before I take you."

Holy shit, Kylie thought to herself. What was she supposed to say to that? At that moment, Kylie felt that she was needed. It was a feeling that she never felt in her family or next to Aiden. She was important to someone; she was the support of Ethan Parker and the motivation for him to change. She knew she would remain Mrs. Parker forever.

For some reason, Kylie had trouble falling asleep. After tossing and turning for a couple of hours, Kylie gave up and went quietly to lay down on the sofa with her IPad. She could not do much else since Ethan was sleeping soundly, and she did not want to wake him up. Kylie opened up her Facebook and started browsing. Seeing nothing of interest, she opened her 'Chats' folder and saw her conversation from Star at the very top.

She started typing a message to him, "So many things have happened recently. My career has finally started growing. People finally know what kind of person Khloe really is. And Aiden knows what happened five years ago." She sent this vague message hoping to initiate the conversation. However, after a few minutes, Star was still offline, so she typed another line.

"I am married now."

Kylie smiled to herself and continued writing, "I am finally happy." Star still did not reply, so Kylie turned off her IPad and walked to the bed, hoping to get some shut-eye.
