Loving A STRANGER Chapter 95

After the video of Kylie and Lily shooting the scene was posted on the Internet, everyone unanimously praised Kylie's acting skills, and blamed Lily for her stupidity. Most that heard the story, which was everyone in the industry and, of course, the fans, felt sorry for Kylie's tough life. Everyone was tweeting, Instagramming, and Facebooking the videos of plays she had participated in various media sites. Extreme Luxury was one of their targets.
When the Editor-in-Chief of Extreme Luxury saw Kylie's natural-looking photos and her splendid acting skills, he was quite surprised that someone like her that had led such a tough life had such raw talent. But then again, he guessed talent was one thing that could be found anywhere and in anyone. However, the rest of Extreme Luxury was a little hesitant as they were currently in talks with Garcia Entertainment about the cover of their new magazine; Garcia Entertainment recommended the rising star of their company - Khloe Finch.
Naturally, this caused quite the kerfuffle, so the top management called an urgent meeting to discuss who would be on the cover of the next issue of their magazine. After much debate and discussion, a decision was made, and Laurence Finch's number was dialed.
"Hello?"
"Yes, Mr. Finch. This is Henry from Extreme Luxury. Is this a good time to talk?"
"Yes, of course, Mr. Henry! I was going to call you today to discuss when Khloe may…" Before Laurence finished, Henry cut him off. "Yes, Mr. Finch, that's why I am calling. Actually, our team has decided not to go with Khloe for our magazine."
Laurence was quiet for a second before he spoke up, "Henry, if this is about all those videos that are defaming Khloe, you know those are not true! In fact, Khloe's image is perfectly in line with the temperament required for a magazine like Extreme Luxury."

"No, Mr. Finch, that's not the reason at all. Well, actually, our Editor-in-Chief prefers another model for the cover, and he's dead set on her."
"May I ask who that is?" Laurence practically growled, trying hard to control his anger.
"Kylie Finch," Henry replied quietly.
Laurence was stunned. "Henry, for the cover shooting, Khloe has rejected all other projects. How can you choose my one daughter over another! They're sisters..."
"Laurence, yes, we had talked about choosing Khloe, but you as well as us know that we had not signed any contract or agreement, which means we are open to backing out. If no more questions, then I will talk to you later." Henry was about to hang up, but Laurence cut him off.
"No, no, wait, Henry. Garcia has another actress who won 'The Best New Artist' last year, she is definitely more famous than Kylie. What do you think about her?"
Henry sighed impatiently, what kind of a father was he? Instead of rejoicing that at least his other daughter was chosen, he was dead set on ensuring they did not choose Kylie! "Mr. Finch, we only want Kylie."
Laurence slammed the phone down on his desk and threw his papers across the room in a fit of rage! How dare his daughter, his OWN blood, betray him like that! Laurence scoffed when he thought of the saying 'blood is thicker than water,' yeah my ass, Laurence thought. To strive for this opportunity, he had spent effort and resources to bribe for Khloe to get this position. Not only that, but he had also planned to take advantage of this opportunity to help Khloe win the award of 'The Best Actress.'
This was all because of those fucking videos targeting his dear daughter. Just as Kylie had wanted, Khloe was losing all her opportunities to her. Laurence could not even imagine the reaction of Khloe when she found out about all his. And he was not looking forward to being the person to break this news to her.

Faith had found out the news from her social media sources, and when she relayed the news to Kylie, she exulted, "Kylie, every dog has its days, and yours are coming!"
Kylie laughed at Faith's strange expression, "Faith, Khloe will not yield so easily." Kylie was not related at all; all these happenings were to her expectation, but she had always learned to expect the worst, and with Khloe Finch, you just never knew.
The news that Extreme Luxury was going to change the cover character from Khloe Finch to Kylie Finch was spreading like wildfire across the entertainment industry. And Ethan was no exception, although, for Peak Pictures, this opportunity was nothing. However, for Kylie, this was the first famous media that wanted to cooperate with her and insisted on her. It was a small victory in the battle between her and Khloe.
As soon as he heard the news, Ethan dialed his beloved's number, "Nice one love. You deserve this and much more." A lump formed in Kylie's throat rendering her unable to speak for a few seconds. "Thank you. No one supported me for a long time until I met you, thank you."
Ethan was quiet. His heart ached at the pain his wife had experienced, "You deserved better." In Ethan's opinion, it was high time for the public to see how disgusting Khloe was.
When the news was released, Khloe was still sleeping on Aiden's bed. Last night she had explained the photos tearfully and had justified her schemes with excuses that she loved Aiden so much and was afraid of losing him. After her tearful apology, it was a piece of cake for Khloe to persuade Aiden to accept her again. She firmly believed that no one could take things away from her that easily.
The shrill tone of her cell woke her up. Noticing it was Lucas, her father's assistant, she picked up begrudgingly, "Ughh Lucas, it better be good. You interrupted my sleeping!"
"Um, Miss Finch. The magazine called. Um…they…they have decided to go with someone else rather than you…"
"What? You're joking, right?" Khloe could not believe it. "How could that be possible? Ive even been to the studio of Extreme Luxury, how could they have changed me like that!"
"It's true, Miss Finch. Mr. Finch just received the call from the magazine, and they said they just want Kylie Finch." Lucas replied anxiously.
