Loving A STRANGER Chapter 75

After hearing Kylie call him "husband," Ethan Parker was much happier.
He walked towards Kylie and put his arm around her shoulders. She hugged him in return.
She said, in a low voice: "Ethan Parker, it's such a shame that you're not in the entertainment industry. When we go out next time, you should wear a mask so you don't risk exposing me."
He smiled but didn't say anything.
Kylie looked at a lot of clothes and asked him to try some of them on.
He frowned. "Actually, I have all the clothes I need."
"Really?"
He didn't hesitate at all. "Yeah."
"Fine…" She looked disappointed. "That's such a shame. I actually wanted to get some his-and-hers clothes with you."
He was surprised to hear that.
He looked at the clothes she held in her hands and asked with suspicion: "You want to wear suits?"
She laughed. "Uncle, you are much out of fashion."
After having grown softer and softer for a time, his face was once again hard. "You think I am too old for you?"
She blinked in surprise and tried to comfort him. "Nonsense. That's a way of expressing my love for you. Many women in TV dramas call their lovers' Uncle.'"
"Then you should call me…Ethan."
She didn't know how to respond to that.
Instead, she handed him an item of clothing. "Try this. I think it will fit you."
But he just looked at it, without thinking further about trying it on.
"Sir, your wife has great taste. This item just arrived, and was made by a famous Italian designer. It's a limited edition, and would make you look even more prestigious."
"Limited edition?" That didn't seem to impress him.
The manager nodded quickly. "Yeah, there are only ten of these in the country, and only in three sizes."

"No." He was cold and tossed the clothing item back at her.
The manager was surprised. Why had he suddenly become so angry?
She looked at Kylie for help, but Kylie was just as surprised as she was. Kylie looked into his eyes in an effort to make him happy again.
"Why? I think this color is perfect for you," she said.
Ethan stared at Kylie for a moment, then nodded in agreement. The manager smiled. "I can get it for you this in a Large right now."
"Wait." Kylie stopped her before she could leave.
"He looks thin but has wide shoulders. I think he needs an Extra Large," she said, with great confidence.
The manager looked at Ethan Parker, but she didn't look convinced that he could be that muscular.
She must have sold thousands or tens of thousands of clothes before. She could immediately tell which size a customer needed.
He was about 190 cm tall, and his legs were especially long. But even though he was very muscular, there's no way that he could wear something in an Extra Large size.
But she couldn't say no to a customer, so she just followed Kylie's wish. It would be more embarrassing for her when she discovered her error.
He didn't say anything. He just looked at Kylie and thought about something else.
The manager returned as quickly as she could, carrying the really big shirt.
Kylie nodded with satisfaction and handed it over to Ethan Parker. "Put it on."
The manager said to Kylie, once he was in the dressing room: "Mrs., your husband is so handsome."
Kylie just smiled and didn't say anything in response. She couldn't argue with that.
Then the door to the changing room opened, and Ethan walked out, without a trace of emotion.

Kylie laughed out loud after having glanced at him once.
Ethan Parker was always cold and mysterious in front of everyone, but with this royal-blue shirt, he was completely changed.
He was fucking gorgeous.
He looked like a blue enchantress.
He smiled and waved. "You look terrific in this shirt, but it doesn't suit you. If you walk around outside with it, you'll cause a stampede."
He frowned and looked at her coldly. Then he went back into the dressing room.
The manager was impressed, and she couldn't seem to close her mouth. When he was gone, she said to Kylie: "He can really pull off an Extra Large."
Even though the shirt had been a little too big for him, they could still see his muscle through the shirt.
Kylie nodded. "Yeah, he has a lot of muscles, but all clothes look good on him."
The manager knew she was right. She should have known that a wife's opinion is always the most accurate.
Although she desperately wanted to sell that expensive shirt, she couldn't be too pushy. After thinking about it for a while, she said: "Your husband looks so powerful. Do you want to try the grey one? I think it would suit him better."
"No," Kylie refused immediately. "We don't want black, white, or grey."
The manager hadn't had the opportunity to get closer to him, or to sell him her expensive clothes. She was very disappointed.
Ethan walked out of the dressing room and handed the shirt to the manager. When he was about to leave, Kylie said: "I will take this."
The saleswomen were shocked.
"You can wear it just for me." She smiled and took a card out of her purse.
He held her wrists and was about to hand over his own card. "Use mine."
"Hey!" Kylie looked at him. "I said I was going to buy some clothes for you. Of course, use my card."
Ethan Parker didn't force her. Instead, he took his card back. But when she saw the price tag, she almost choked.
WTF…There are so many zeros…maybe four or five…
She had expected the shirt to be a little expensive. But come on, a thousand dollars?! Seriously?
Was it made of silk?
She rubbed her eyes in surprise.
He placed a black card in front of her. "This is yours now," he said.
"What…I…I can't take this…" At first, she refused to take the card. But after a moment's thought, then she raised her head and asked him: "What's the password?"
"Your birthday."
"My birthday?" She almost choked again. "How do you know about my birthday?"
