Loving A STRANGER Chapter 28

The innocent and alluring woman, with the pair of panicked deer eyes, looked at him—and he knew that she had awakened the beast that had been asleep for years within the boy.
The tip swollen and hurt, and he had to push away the thoughts he was having. He took a deep breath, then breathed out. His Adam's apple moved up and down several times, and he sighed loudly while breathing out.
Half an hour has passed.
Kylie hesitated for a while, but she eventually decided to walk out of the bedroom with her body fully covered in clothing.
She was wearing a man's shirt, with the lower half tied around her waist and long pants, with the trouser legs rolled up. A small part of the ankle was visible, but that's it.
Her hair was still dripping wet, so she casually dabbed at it with a towel. Even in such an ill-fitting suit, one could see her body's natural beauty, to some extent.
Kylie could see the man sitting on the couch, as soon as she opened the door. His head was slightly drooped, revealing the neatly cut hairline on his neck. She couldn't tell if he was dozing or reading through something.
Just as she was about to say something, the man raised his head and turned towards her, hearing the sound of the door opening. His eyes were still dark.
The two stared at each other. Kylie lost all self-esteem as she looked at his eyes. Her mind emptied, and she couldn't bring herself to speak a word.
Ethan stared at her for a while, then averted his gaze to the floor. He realized that she was standing on bare feet, and the white toes were rolling in nervousness.
The man's strong, mild voice spoke, with the force of restraint: "I've bought some ointment for your feet."

His eyes remained calm and cold, like when they had first met. But suddenly, Kylie didn't know what to do with her hands and feet when he stared at her.
She pressed her lips into a thin line. "My feet are fine, and they'll recover by tomorrow."
Ethan had already cleared his mind of all sexual desire. The coldness in his eyes was because he regretted that his extraordinary willpower could so easily be shaken in front of this woman.
"They could become infected," he spoke with a light voice.
"They won't..." Kylie lowered her head, quickly glancing at Ethan, before quickly looking away. She was acting like a pet who didn't know what it had done wrong.
"And..." She knew she wouldn't be able to bring it up, because, after all, it had simply been an accident. But she still felt uncomfortable in her heart, so she finally said: "You didn't see anything back then, right?"
Ethan looked at her face, which was turning redder and redder. He remained silent for a while, then said: "Yeah...nothing."
But Kylie wasn't convinced by his tone. He spoke as though he'd seen something, but was making fun of their size. Kindness wouldn't kill him, at this point!
Kylie stood straight and felt dissatisfied. I'm a C-cup, she thought. She tilted her head and refused to look at Ethan any more. "Fine, I'll go to bed," she said proudly.
"Apply the ointment," the man insisted.
"I won't die from these abrasions!"
"Apply it!"
"I...will...not!"
"I'm the one who brought you back, so you must listen to me!"
Kylie was speechless. What a domineering man! She felt warm in her heart for being taken care of since she'd been alone for a long time.

She explained to him, albeit unwillingly: "The asshole was injured more heavily than me. These are just bruises. I'll be fine within two days."
The man replied in his domineering but gentle tone: "Your feet were rubbed to the point of bleeding! Do you want to cut them again after the wound has festered? Then say goodbye to your career! It won't be easy for you to find another man, either."
Career? Man?
Kylie thought about it seriously. "Do you mean you'll abandon me as well? But we have that three-year agreement..."
Ethan sneered. "Given your bad temper, you probably won't be fine with me and will complain every day, lying in bed. Then, you'll probably get depressed or something like that, and it won't even take three years before you kick the bucket."
Kylie didn't know what to say. Did this guy brush his teeth with shit every morning? How could he always be so mean! She simply had a few burst blisters on the soles of her feet, and suddenly he turned it into amputation, depression, and suicide.
But Lord Ethan was right about something...If her feet were injured, the film shooting would definitely be affected.
Fine, you win this time, she thought, let's apply the ointment.
"I'll apply it, alright!" She curled her lip and walked towards the table to grab the ointment. "I'll apply it in my room, and you can continue minding your own business."
Just as she was about to close the door of the bedroom, the man spoke from behind her: "I'll do it for you."
"You..." How could he be so unreasonable? She rolled her eyes. "I'll do it myself."
"That would be inconvenient," he replied. Kylie almost lost her temper. Her feet were a part of her body, so how could it be inconvenient!
But the man's handsome face read: No Rejection. During her lifetime, Laurence Finch had been the only man who could change her mind about things, but only because she did everything counter to what he said. What Laurence Finch didn't want her doing, was something she must do.
Now, here was another man who had the power to sway her behavior. This man was her husband—Ethan Parker. He had a way of making you do what he wanted by simply looking at you.
