The Dream Saga Chapter 64

Tom and Mammon were telling me about the incompatibility defect in devils and how it can be at a major disadvantage for me in the match. It was tensing for me because the opponents were far more stronger, but I was a bit of relieved too because I have learned some tactics against armed enemies. How smart of me, hehe .
Wake up Kai!! Wake up!!!!! You were almost about to lose your reputation because of being a lethargic creature. Yelled a little part of my matured mind.
While we were just talking about this, the anchor of the tournament announced the bloody starting.
"Welcome ladies and gentlemen to the 'Champion of hell' tournament in the beautiful city of Levlee."
"I am Chiwsaj Qiwit, your Host for this wonderful tournament" The anchor was dressed in a funky outfit. He was jolly and energetic the public was hyped to watch him announce, maybe he was popular among them.
"You all look so hyped to me! And why shouldn't be? We are here to watch the six legendry devil kings of the continent, fighting till death to prove themselves best!"
"Fight till death! What the hell! Is it going to be messy, will there be bloodshed ??" as I heard him saying the word 'fight till death,' my eyes widened in shock and Tom who stood beside me, giggled with a small burst of laughter after looking me all shocked.
"Hey, don't act like you were expecting it as a fight between two children." He passed a smile and waved his head.
"The others will think that you are ignorant or something."
"Ha-ha, it'd be an upper hand for me in the battle!" I winked at him with a mischievous smile.
"HEY! Don't do that I feel as I am being sexually harassed by you!!" He shouted at me with a flushed face.

"Ha-ha alright, but don't you think a fight till death is too much, like isn't it going too far?" I queried to him.
"Um, how do I explain… ugh hey it's better to let him explain. He's getting paid for this." He raised his eyebrows and aimed at the announcer with a little pat on my shoulder.
I looked at him through the glass wall that was in our room, and I saw many other new people sitting on thrones in a triangle that was repelling each corner. They seemed quite important to me, and out of curiosity I called Tom with a slight push of my shoulder.
"Who are they? Are they the guests? Seems like they're 'VIP'."
"Can't you keep your mouth shut for a moment ?? Yes they're the guests. He will introduce them eventually. Keep patience."

"Before we move onto our guests, I would like to introduce the 'Red rules' of this tournament." He pulled out a scroll from his pocket; he inhaled a deep breath and spoke loudly.
"So, the rules of the tournament are followed severely,"
"One shall not attack his opponent on his important on main organs, such a hitting on the head or stabbing the heart or any kind of attack on the crotch."
"The match will only end when one of the participant is on the ground and cannot fight anymore or when one of them has yields."
"Rule no.3, no illegal moves can be used, only those moves and spells are allowed which are in the archives or directories."
"And a final warning, any participant if caught breaking the rules will be disqualified from the tournament and his following house will be banned for next two tournaments."
After finishing the rules scroll, he took a whiff of relief, drank a bottle of water and burned the scroll with a snap of finger.

"Hey, I guess it's a well-organized and planned tournament. I was being worried about nothing." I pouted my lips and looked at Tom.
"Well yeah it is, see I told you to be patient and you will get all your answers." He handed a can of energy drink he brought for me from the vending machine, he smiled and sipped his.
"So, Ladies and gentleman, today we have some great and honorable guest from our continent and from other continent as well!"
"Our first guest, from the continent 'Hierest' The leader of the heavenly angels, the patron of righteousness, one of the seven archangels 'Michael.' Please, everyone, stand up in his respect."
As the announcer introduced the first guest, who was the leader of the angels of heaven. Everyone who was not paying attention suddenly got astound by name of him as he was some kind of alien.
"Hey!! Tom look at them, they all stood up at once.Wow I wasn't expecting this." I was shocked by the reaction of the crowd. I waved my hand at him to show him, but he did not gave me a response.
"Tom!! Tom!! Hey look at them, where are you lost man?" I rocked him a bit because he was lost in his own imagination, he was in some deep thought he had an expression on his face that was saying 'it's unbelievable.'
"Um.. ugh.. Yeah yeah
what were you saying?" He blinked twice and snapped back to the reality.
"Why are they so shocked? Look." He furrowed his eyebrows and gave me a death stare.
"Are you really serious? Do you realize how much rare a sight of his is, it's been like thirty years since anyone saw him. Even during the last war no one saw him, I don't know why he is here as our guest."
"Hey, calm down bro, I did not know he was that much important. Let's see what else the announcer has to say." I realized what I said was dumb and tried to change the topic as soon as possible.
***
"My greeting to you sir, we would like to talk to you more. We will be back after introducing our other guests." The announcer bowed and turned towards the next guest.
"Ladies and gentlemen, let me introduce ya'll to our next guest!"
"The General of the 'Fallen angels', The 4th world demon, 'Azazel'."
As he said his name, the whole stadium went numb not a single peep escaped.

Life of a Core
After a disembodied voice had told him he was what amounted to an exceptionally talented rock, it had been hard to not let it go to his non-existent head. Until, random chance had decided to give him a square kick in the minerals. Which had in turn forced him to fend for himself in an unknown land, all while he attempted to make sense of his place in the world. Truthfully though, all he had really wanted to do from the start had been to bury himself a hundred feet below the ground and be left to his own devices. Yet, for one reason or another, nobody ever seemed willing to leave the dungeon-building core alone long enough to actually make one. Each chapter will average around two to three thousand words, the release schedule is still a WIP but you should expect the first six chapters to be released over the next six days. This is planned out as a dungeon building fiction, but don't expect it right off the bat! The story is a depiction of the everyday adventures (alongside an overarching plot) of what I imagine a dungeon core would experience when thrust into a random environment where everything and everyone tried to covet or eat him. I also really enjoy reading the comments and reviews people leave and would love to get some reader involvement with the story itself, likely through polls at the end of each chapter. I hope you enjoy my story! (If you feel like some of the characters seem familiar, you may have read some older work I wrote a while back under a different account. If you happen to be one of my old readers and recognize the similarities, I'm happy to have you back!)

An Un-Ideal Eternity
An Un-Ideal Eternity is about a man named Desmond, who is killed, revived, and then finds himself immortal in a post-apocalyptic society. Just because it’s a society doesn’t mean that either he or “they” have to be civilized. And just because a gentleman has become immortal does not mean that he has no dangers to be wary of. The good news is that he’s been afforded some very kind and very generous ministrations from his future-self. The bad news is that all those efforts might still not be enough, to allow our hero, to live in as untroubled and as un-tumultuous a manner as he’d prefer.
