Rose was yelling so loud in the morning, today she was acting so weird she was shouting like her life was on the line, if she didn't wake me up. But I was still sleepy. So, I ignored her shouting because how long could one shout, eventually she will leave me alone. But she kept shaking me and yelling at me.

"Hey! Wait, he's okay, right !! He didn't died in his bed or something?" She had a weird thought that I died in sleep, and she went insane…

"MY LORD! WAKE UP!!! PLEASE!!!" She began to cry and yell really hard as she would bring me back from the doors of death.

"He's not responding what should I do? Yes! That will do." I did not understand what was going in the little brain of hers at that moment, she stopped shouting and ran away somewhere and after a minute she came back.

"Huff! Huff!"

"It was really heavy, but I guess it's needed. I hope he wakes up after this, but what will I do if he didn't" She took a whiff of relief after carrying something heavy. She was nervous and her forehead was covered in sweat, full of worry.

The next thing which happened was either intentional, based on feelings of grave hatred like slaying someone's entire race or foolish.

She poured a bucket full of hot water on my bare back. As the first drop of the water splashed on the surface of my skin, I felt as if someone poured hot liquified metal. My sleep was faded in just a second, I was wide awake now. I screamed so loud that it attracted the attention of the guards who were close by.

In the very little time, I understood deep meanings of things such as how those people might have felt when the leviathan had roasted them with hellfire. How the potato we eat everyday feels when we drop those innocents into hot oil every morning. How the marshmallow feels when we roast it.

"ARE YOU FUCKING INSANE ??" I was shocked and freaked out by what she did to wake me up. My eyes were flaming red I wanted to eat her alive.

"Sorry!! Your grace!! I did not want to hurt you, it's I thought you died in your sleep ahh!" she stuttered and sat in a corner in order to protect herself from my anger. She was literally scared, she was crying and her face was so hilarious that it made me laugh.

"Hey, why made you do that ?" I was calm now. I was cooling my back with some ice when I asked her.

"Y-your g-grace, I thought you died, and you were not responding I thought you died in sleep." She stuttered and replied.

"You better not do it again, girl. It hurts. Thank goodness, my skin is getting healed because of reptile traits."

"But why were you so eager to wake me up? Huh? Today's something special?"

"Well, about that today is…" As she spoke, someone knocked on the door hard.

"Come in, are you planning to break the door!"

The person on the other end was Lee. He entered the room in a hurry and first one he saw was Rose. Without greeting or anything, he asked her, "Where is Kai? Is he ready? We are already late according to the schedule!"

I was sitting on my bed in my pajamas, I waved at him when he asked for me with a cute child greeting his dear momma in morning. But when he saw me in my pajamas, he went crazy real quick.

"KAI! WHAT IN THE FUCKING HELL!! WHAT ARE YOU WEARING ??" His tone changed. He yelled at me so loud that I jumped back a little on my bed in shock.

"What happened? What's wrong with my clothes, I love these. Are you talking about my bunny printed vest?" I looked at him with a jolly smile.

"Huh! What? Bunny vest? Eww that looks weird man!! Wait, fuck, we are losing time"

"Why aren't you dressed, yet?" He ran and grabbed my hand and dragged me into the dressing room.

"Huh, what happened why both of you are in a hurry?" I asked him when he took my outfit out of the closet.

"Rose, you didn't wake him up on time. Why? You know today is an important day." He strictly asked Rose.

"M-Master Lee, I tried to wake him up. I even poured boiling water on him!"

"Yeah, she did it, she's bad…" I nagged

"Well, she did right. You deserved it

for forgetting what is today," He scolded me while buttoning up my shirt. I really had no idea what was today that they were so worried for, to be honest, I was lost in dreams of Ecirel and my kiss from last night.

"You're ready now, Let's hurry!!"

He dragged me out of the room in haste. When I was about to leave with Lee, Rose wished me good luck and I did not for what, they didn't even tell me why I had to be ready.

While walking in the gallery, I looked at him. He was walking too fast today, I was barely able to catch up with him like a brat being dragged to his study , he was worried sick and was watching at his wrist watch consistently that made me feel more ignorant, so I broke the silence and asked him the question that I should have asked him moments ago.

"Hey! Lee, you know what. How much I tried to remember what it is today,but I cannot! So please tell me."

"As expected of you!"

"Do you remember why were we training so hard for past few weeks, and what date is it today?"

"Is it the 1st day of the month? Wait, don't tell me today is the day!" I was shocked after remembering what day was today. I was so lost about my dream with Ecirel last night that I had no idea of the date.

"Finally, you remembered it now, what day is today now tell me kiddo ?"

"From today tournament will start !!!"
