"Bring it on I'll give you a nice whopping!" the man yelled ​​

I was enraged and ready to beat the guy who tried to molest Rose, my eyes were flaming red, I was clenching my fist out of anger, on the other hand, the guy who forced himself on Rose took a stance, he had a vile smirk on his face that was pissing me more...

"Oi, I'll teach you what it's like to be crushed by someone superior to you, dipshit." the guy was provoking me, he was looking down on me for some reason.

"But wait! Why should I fight you, I can't fight without a reason or without something at stake?"

"What do you mean?"

"Hahaha! I'll take that girl with me if I win the fight! How about that? And if you win whatever you want."

"I'll KILL YOU! YOU SON OF A BITCH!" I was so pissed that without a second thought, I leaped and landed a massive blow on him.

WHACK!!!!

I punched him in the abdomen. The energy that emerged from the punch was so much that it created shock waves in the area.

But as the shock wave disappeared, what everyone saw was unacceptable. The guy blocked my punch with his palm, without much effort.

"What— what? How?"

Lee, who stood a little farther from me, was shocked too because by now I had full control over my serpent powers and it was impossible for even him to block that blow.

"Ha-ha! you can't take me down that easily. Wait, I can't feel my feet—"

Hiss!! Hiss!!

I covered the guy with my snakes without even him knowing. His legs were being strangled by my serpents to the extent that they went numb.

"This power! You're Hellmouth?"

"Yeah, and now it's the time when you—"

"BEHOLD!!! stop it!"

Somebody barged in between our battle and stopped the conflict. It was the archpriest. Nobody had an idea why she was here and why she interrupted in mid-fight...

"Your grace, what are you doing!" she yelled

"You can't fight him yet! It may cause a conflict between both houses and it can lead to even war!"

"What are you talking about? What do you mean by war?" I pulled my snakes back and asked with an irritated look on my face.

"He's Asmodeus! The king of sin city! One of the 7 princes."

"What! What are you talking about?" I pulled myself back and stood a foot far from him.

"Your grace? Did you just say your grace to him! Wait, does that mean you're Leviathan right!"

The guy Kai was fighting turned out to be Asmodeus, the sin of lust, and his name explained all of his actions.

"Nice to meet you, Leviathan. I apologize for my behavior. What did you expect from me I'm "Prince of perversion," "it was out of habit!" Asmodeus smiled and apologized for his actions to me.

"Hmm, it's alright I get it now why you forced yourself on Rose." I talked to myself.

"Your Grace, I'm glad you two reconciled, but it's getting late please let's get going to the "Devil's circle" other princes are already there." The archpriest took a whiff of relief and requested me and Asmodeus to follow her lead."

"Kai, you go without me. Here this scared kitty. I'll drop her to her room." Lee called me when I was leaving.

"Yeah, sure. I'll head without you. Okay, make sure to not leave the kitty I mean Rose alone."

We traveled for five minutes to the hall and during that time I discovered that Asmodeus's name was "Ryan". As we arrived, the big brute-looking gatekeepers opened the door of devil's circle hall which was closed for almost 16 years...

"Oh, look who's here. LEVIATHAN AND ASMODEUS!!! The sin of envy and lust together." Someone spoke from inside of the hall. It was "Sathanus."

"Ha-ha, indeed we are," Asmodeus replied.

The hall was old, and it looked like nobody ever went there for a millennium, there were inscriptions of seventy-two devils on the walls, there was a big statue of a devil who stood over angels and fallen and held the world in his hand, I was just looking at the hall when a voice echoed in the hall.

"I've been waiting for you all for ages, my comrades. I Lucifer, the king of the devils, the one who sees it all, welcomes you." A statue emitted the voice which claimed itself to be of lucifer.

"My friends, I've called you all here to tell you something important."

"The trident will choose you only if you have a pure desire and a clear mindset, so I want you all to be strong-willed and determined, so choose what you desire carefully."

"And this tournament is for the welfare of the devils, so consider this tournament to be a battle for your race not for yourself, so don't be personal during the tournament, because that'll lead you to only destruction, I just wanted to warn you all."

"I guess it's about time when I leave. I wish I can meet you all once if I ever got unsealed."

The voice was gone, and the doors of the hall were open and the gathering was over in minutes

"Well, I don't know much, only thing I know that it'll be fun, right?" Mammon cheered everyone up on the way to the exit.

"Yeah, we know it'll be."

I was on my way back from the meeting I was thinking about my fight with "Asmodeus" that happened just before the meeting, I remembered how free and unbothered he was and in front of me and how weak I felt, even though I tried to look cool I was scared. And the most stressful thing among all was that the tournament was just two weeks ago, and I was still unprepared."

"Ah, I wish someone can teach me about both serpent and devil fighting style!"

"Huh! Serpent and devil both! I guess I know someone!!"
