The next morning.....

I woke up rubbing my eyes as the sunlight was bothering me, I moaned with a laugh because of the tickling sensation I was feeling on my hands and feet. It felt like someone was touching them. I pulled my limbs as I found the reason for the tickling. ​​

Few of the maids were cutting my nails and were grooming me while I was sleeping.

"Woah! Wait, what are you doing?" I was so confused that I shouted.

The maids giggled and one of them replied "We're grooming you, my majesty."

"Grooming me! For what!!!" I asked with a flustered face.

"Nothing special my lord, just regular grooming." She giggled.

While Kai was surprised by the treatment by the maids, Lee arrived in his room dressed in a luxurious nobleman's suit.

"Good morning my majesty looks like you're getting a nice treatment, I guess you're ready now let's head out for breakfast others are waiting for us.

The breakfast table was set in the garden of Ouroboros palace, Skyler and Sabir were already there, the breakfast table was nicely decorated just like the dinner table was yesterday evening. I sat in front of Lee.

"Kai, I guess it's a perfect time to tell you what I've been waiting to tell you since we met..."He was finally gonna spit out all the mysteries we waiting for since we met.

"No! A Devil can only possess someone else, it can't possess himself, Sabir! Kai, you're okay, right" Lee was calm but he asked me in formality.

"Hahhaha ahh ohhh gosh, that's so awesome that I'm a devil !! so this is how my adventure started, but Lee can you tell me more?" I asked Lee as somehow I controlled my devilish laugh.

"Hmm, you scared me for a second, so you're the last member of house "Leviathan" so there won't be any trouble in claiming the throne. So more about it, you're one of the seven mortal sins of hell and you rule over 1/7 area of Devsplid country and my house and many other houses are sworn to serve our king Leviathan. so, that's why you're getting this much of the treatment. He continued.

"So don't you want to spend some on your friends? " Skyler spoke with food in her mouth.

"First of all, eat the fucking food in your mouth alright, don't talk or you'll die while eating!" I Sighed and spoke in a calm voice"

"I guess you have a nice idea we're still in these rags, lets go eat and shop like crazy and bomb the bill on Lee, let's go, squad!!! "I cheered them up and looked at Sabir and Skyler with bright eyes.

We stopped by an equipment store to shop.

"Kai, this shop looks decent, we can buy many things from here."

Mr shopkeeper show us what you've got! Well, show the best don't go on our looks we're your lord's guests! Ha-ha" Skyler spoke while asserting unnecessary dominance.

"Well, by looking at your condition, I should show you some outfits first " the shopkeeper commented.

We all started to roam into the shop to look for pieces of equipment for ourselves after half an hour we all met after picking our equipment.

"You two show first, what you brought! Sabir, you go first." Skyler asked in excitement.

"Ahh okay, I'll show you, but try not to get jealous " Sabir spoke with a confident tone.

"Here it is, first I brought myself this dark violet robe with a hood which is made up of silk and velvet, and to add spark in it I brought this expensive shirt and these shining metal boots and see these gauntlets with blades."

"That looks like batman gauntlets! Awesome Sabir you did a hell of a lot of shopping man" I giggled.

"Batman? who's Batman! Anyway hehe, I'm a shopping freak. Well for a weapon I took this "Halide" it'll suit me better than anything large."

"Well about me, I haven't brought myself much I brought this dark long robe with silver shoulder plates with a serpent head embroidery and these platinum boots to protect my feet. I couldn't get any weapon because as I tried to grab a weapon my hands felt numb and dropped the weapon itself as it was dead so I couldn't get any. By the way, Skyler what have you got??".

"You two look like warriors now! I feel I didn't buy anything compared to you. I've just brought some basic types of equipment such as this bishop sleeves white pure linen top, with these I got breastplates with golden embroidery on it and these shining boots that look like ceramic but its made of a special type of metal. Plus this dagger with an eagle on the handle to stab hearts."

Skyler's equipment and outfit suited her silver hair she never wears dim colored clothes and that tells a lot about her.

After showing our pieces of equipment to each other we left the store bragging about our gears.

"Sabir! Why did you pack the extra jewelry you brought? I asked with a question mark on his face.

Sabir showed a teethful smile and said with embarrassment.

"I'll keep it safe in a locker because if I lost any of these in a fight or something I'll regret it for life"

I and Skyler stared at him with annoyed faces.

We reached Ouroboros palace at night it was late but still, people waited for us like crazy, I never felt so important before this in my whole life. We went straight into our royal rooms as we were tired as hell after shopping the whole day.

The preparation for the journey already began, but it was still a month so I started to train with Lee, we trained with different kinds of wooden weapons every day.

While training with Lee I found out he was a big fan of music that he used to take his band with him everywhere.

"Kai, your skills with weapons are getting good it feels like as your know about my next move, and your skill with hand-to-hand combat surpasses me why is that?"

Lee asked while sparring with Kai in a practice match.

"Well, it was easy for me to handle a sword because my dad was a martial artist he always wanted me to win an Olympic medal but he disappeared somewhere without seeing me achieve it "

"He trained me and made me an expert in "krav maga" and "Eskrima combat" since I was a child. I don't know where he is now but I know he would be proud of me."

"Yeah, he must be proud of you wherever he is."

"Well Lee I've got a question, sometimes I couldn't use my power as I use it but it doesn't work? Do you have any idea why?"

"Kai, listen there are many reasons this could happen such as unclear mind like when you're not thinking straight or when you're under pressure so you need to calm yourself first. And there's little work of mana here too" He explained calmly.

He was literally a good teacher who was handling an over-excited student like me.

In a moment hundreds of snakes got summoned to my location, I jumped in excitement and ran to show everyone while Lee watched me being joyful with a smile on his face.
