Primordial Dimensions Chapter 270

Shane was completely oblivious to the chaos he had created.
Not only had he intervened in the government's plan that was to do exactly the same as he did; purchase the Neptua Ladra's lands and build a gigantic artisan organization, but he had also caused the real estate agent who had taken care of him to be distressed!
He had almost lost his job!
Fortunately, that didn't happen and the real estate agent could only thank his great fortune for this.
How should he have known that John Stella and Shane's aunt, Kia had heard about the person who had purchased the Neptua Ladra lands?
Even though Kia was a little frustrated by this, she couldn't help but praise Shane's quick actions.
Meanwhile, John just said,
"We should have claimed the lands earlier...that was our mistake. Let's give him an early present. Reserve the surrounding areas for him too. Once he has the required funds, he might as well purchase them.
If not, we can just take them for ourselves!"
Kia was astonished that John didn't want to purchase the rest of the Neptua Ladra region because eight square kilometers were not that much.
It was worth a huge fortune for Shane, but not for the government who had already laid aside enough to purchase more than a thousand square kilometers in addition to the constructions they wanted to establish there.
"Let's adjust our plan and take a different region. It will be more expensive, but Shane has to change Neptua Ladra's bad reputation first! As such, it might not be bad that he forced us to change our plans."
Kia's mood changed from being happy as well as frustrated about Shane's quick move to purchase the Neptua Ladra regions' lands to being serious and calculative.
Shane might not have to pay as much as they would have to invest now, but that didn't mean he was at an advantage.
In the end, this was not even important because they were not even competing with each other!
It was more like existing next to each other without any hostility!
At least, that was how the government viewed Shane's plans and actions right now.

This might change once he would cause a real threat to the income and the level to which they wanted the government artisan organization to grow in the next few years.
To put it simply, Shane was considered a small fish in the big ocean right now, and not worth seeing as a real rival!
Shane's thoughts were obviously different and he decided that he had to work even harder during the next four weeks until the mana awakening event would be held.
While he emerged within the Neptua Ladra dimension portal that stood in the middle of a large seashore, Shane had already messaged the group of third-year students he had met a few hours earlier.
[If you guys want to earn lots of gold coins, the next few weeks might turn into the best weeks of your life...or you will die! I don't beat around the bush! I need a strong combat force to conquer all kinds of caves and mines with me! There is no huge plan or anything like that, but I can only tell you that all of us might be able to earn a huge fortune!]
It was evident that Shane required a huge fortune and he already had a few things in his mind, which he wanted the Starlight Guild to do either way.
The only thing he was missing was a strong combat force!!
While he messaged the group of 40 students, he also sent a separate message to Talia.
[Transfer 80,000 gold coins to me please, I need them for the Starlight Guild and to earn more! Other than that you can use the rest as you please!]
Talia did as asked and was now left with less than 500,000 gold coins, but Shane was confident in the small plan that was slowly taking shape in his mind.
However, instead of focusing on that right now, he took out the small fang that he had received from the Leviathan mother when he was younger.
He lightly blew into the whistle though he couldn't hear a sound, but that was not required. The frequency was so high that he was unable to hear it and he knew that something was about to happen soon.

He waited for a few minutes and during this interval, Shane took a look at several notes he had written.
There were all kinds of caves, fields, and other places that were reigned by beasts at the peak-Awakened stage.
They were neither superior-beasts nor strong enough to defeat someone with a mana purity of 80%, but their numbers were high!
This had been a problem to Shane earlier, but this problem would vanish as long as he was able to take in Jack, Lias, and Kylia.
He hadn't seen Jack's strength yet, but considering that others allowed him to be the leader of their group, he had to be among the strongest.
Furthermore, Shane had figured out that he had already attained a perfect physique in at least one stage while his occupation would be at the platinum quality!
The former was not difficult for him to figure out because everyone had eyed him when the characteristics with two perfect body refined stages were shown.
As such, he was sure that his strength was great.
Considering Kylia, whose healing capabilities were equally great, Shane would have to teach her to hold back as well and everything would be fine.
As long as she didn't strain her body and mind too much, her efficiency and healings would become more stable and maybe even turn stronger due to a firmer concentration!
Lias was a platinum quality scout and that was everything one had to know about him! There was no need to talk about the capabilities of a high-quality scout, and what Shane had seen within the outskirts of the Radiant mountain ring dimensions was already more than enough!
The others were strong too and if he was not wrong, the average strength of the whole group that had 40 members were around the Expert stage with a mana purity of 70%
This was extremely beneficial and Shane couldn't help but feel that he had to get his hands on that team anyhow.
It would become a great foundation for the Starlight Guild, and the plan he had thought of with the 80,000 gold coins was simple.
Invest in the entire group in order to receive more in return in the future!
If that was possible, his return on investment would be pretty high.
An investment of 80,000 gold coins might look like much but divided by the number of group members it would turn into 2,000 gold coins.
These 2,000 gold coins could be used to purchase one or two [Tier-2 (Extraordinary)] items or one unique [Tier-2 (Extraordinary)] item with a rare, yet powerful ability!
This would increase the whole group's combat prowess by a large margin and Shane could only hope that everything would go according to his plan.
While he had been busy thinking and strategizing, suddenly his eyes fell upon a thirty-meter, blue-purplish scaled sea serpent shooting out of the water, straight towards him.
His eyes widened, even though he knew who was jumping towards him. Umbra, who had noticed Shane's astonishment glanced outside the Hidden Paradise.
When he sensed that something was rushing towards Shane, Umbra was about to emerge out of the Hidden Paradise.
Fortunately, Shane was barely able to sever the connection Umbra had created with the outside world as he shouted,
"Lily, calm down!"
Yet, before he was able to do something, the large sea serpent had already emerged and landed in front of him, splashing water all around.
She hissed out in joy, only to notice that most of her body was hanging on the rock's side.
At that moment a large wave swept over the surf, and Shane could only see how Lily, the little leviathan youngling, was dragged away.
Lily hissed in astonishment as her eyes were trained on Shane, who smiled lightly.
"As clumsy as before, nothing has changed!" Shaking his head a little he remarked with a chuckle and sensed another existence emerging from the large ocean as Levi, the Leviathan mother greeted him.
[You're already back! It has only been a decade...Don't tell me you missed me or Lily?]

Starlight Antiquities
There is a place in the galaxy that deals in antiquities of all kinds, human and non-human alike. Its inventory of artifacts is colossal as is its inventory of mercs who they hire to acquire any artifact a client may wish that is yet to come into their possession. The ill-reputable business is constantly rubbing against the changing tolerance of the Union's government, and there are many security officers who would love nothing better than to vaporize the whole place with its owners inside. Yet, there are many tasks that nobody can do better, especially in the vastness of deep space where Union law is worth less than the energy needed to display it. One of its jobs involves finding an artifact that may not only hold the future of the human race but may also disturb the balance of the whole galaxy. *** While waiting for the next season of Mandalorian and the Witcher, and rewatching Firefly for the gazillionth of time, I decided to write this space-based series. The series has some litRPG elements in it, but it does not read like one. So, you won't run into any blue screens here. Yet, I wanted to use litRPG to give another dimension to this whole story and make it as unique as possible. This is a work-in-progress. Hope to keep on improving and fixing my mistakes as I go along.

Point of View
Adrian Shepherd is alive in Santa Monica. Successfully fleeing from the target zone of a nation-wide terroristic threat was not easy, nor did it come free. Adrian had to abandon parents who turned deaf ears, but even more heart-crushing was leaving behind someone who meant the world to Adrian, someone who he had shared his whole life with. Now, he survives with broken memories chasing him. Confliction turns him from wanting to live and wanting to die. Guilt wretches him as he craves the forgiveness he can never have. Maybe tomorrow will bring a brighter day, or maybe more problems. **Cover Photo is Temporary** **I would say the story has light gore and traumatizing events, to the point that I originally didn't check the content warnings. Be advised.**
