Primordial Dimensions Chapter 207

After they used the transportation port, Shane and the water elemental Firug, who was also his assigned merchant, arrived at the same valley through which he had entered Caera.
It didn't take long for them to reach the Dimension Portal and Shane bid farewell to Firug, saying that he would message him when he had more elemental crystals to sell.
Turning around, he took a deep breath before stepping through the Portal.
After selecting [Igra; Shirai Academy] as his destination, two silver coins were deducted from Shane's finances before he appeared inside the academy's familiar portal hall.
However, what happened next was an accident Shane could have foreseen because his world seed's mana absorption was unleashed, drawing the whole academy's mana particles forcefully towards him.
Nobody was able to absorb mana anymore and everyone sensed that something terrifying had entered the academy through the Dimension Portal which created a distinct fear within students and teachers at the same time.
When Shane noticed that his world seed's mana absorption was still completely unleashed, he immediately switched to the [One with the World(Unique)] title and restricted the mana absorption to the bare minimum.
Ignoring the attention he had attracted, Shane rushed out of the Portal hall. However, he noticed that everything around him looked dark which confused him for a moment because it was 1 pm already meaning that the sun was well above his head by now.
After comparing the sun rays on Masua to Igra, Shane concluded that his eyes would need a short time to adjust to Igra's faint sunlight.
Shane's sight was restricted but that didn't mean he couldn't see anything.
As such, he rushed towards the principal's office while telling everyone in the group chat that he was back at the Shirai academy.
The first message he received as an answer caused Shane to take a U-turn and sprint back to the Dimension Portal through which he jumped without hesitation.
Shane noticed that the stored amount of mana within the world seed wouldn't be enough to supply it for a long time which was why he was in such a hurry.
Leaving the Shirai academy through the Dimension Portal, he appeared in a wide, flat area.
A few months ago this wouldn't be possible because Shane didn't have the right to use the Shirai academy's portal before as he was not a student of the academy at that time.

This was also the reason why he was forced to use the Mana train like everyone else, where he met Aimy and Olivia.
On one hand, such precautions were useless in Shane's opinion but he couldn't complain because that had led him to meet his first two friends.
Thinking about the two led him to wonder how they were doing.
With that in mind, he messaged them a short text.
[Hey, how are you two doing? Is everything good? I was busy for the last few weeks, sorry! Let's meet soon.]
After that, he looked at the coordinates he had received before he rushed off only to see something far away in the sky.
'Is that Tiamir?' Shane assumed immediately after he saw the dark green, blueish color on a beast that looked like a small-sized dragon with two legs.
There were only a few beasts that were able to roam on Igra freely and tamed beasts were among them with a few additional terrifying existences.
Shane didn't know why powerful beasts would want to stay on Igra because it was a manaless planet but it seemed like a few beasts liked living on mankind's origin planet.
Nobody knew what their long-term plans were or if they were even intelligent enough to scheme anything. but Shane was suspicious, considering that these 'terrifying' beasts were stronger than his father, who had already fought against a few of them.
Though his father had always lost, they had never killed him which was a sign of their placid behavior.
As such, they were mostly left on their own as long as they didn't change their behavior all of a sudden.
It would be terrifying if they were to attack humanity, now that they let their guard against these powerful beasts down.
Most were still suspicious about these beasts but Shane had seen one of them from far away already. He felt great wisdom radiating from them, which was similar to the aura he sensed from the Old Elementals Emperor!
This could indicate that these powerful beasts were extremely old and maybe they just wanted to rest on Igra where peace reigned.
That was, at least, what most people perceived.
There were still a few human organizations that were manipulated and lured by other races to act against mankind, but thankfully, there were only a handful of them, and most of them were not strong enough to fight against the government.

As such, most terror acts were relatively mild and the perpetrators could be easily traced back in most cases due to a few items sold by the system's shop!
This meant as long as the foreign races didn't start backing the manipulated human organizations heavily, nothing would change which was a good sign for mankind.
In Shane's opinion, the old, powerful beasts were either resting on Igra or investing in the human race's potential, waiting for them to blossom!
Other than that, there was no reason for such strong beasts to stay on Igra because there was nothing for them to gain!
It didn't take long for Tiamir, Uncle Max's tamed wyvern, to dive towards him as he roared in joy.
Tiamir had always been careful with strangers. He was reluctant and shy even around Max's friends, Shane's other aunts and uncles because they were much stronger and released a frightening aura, but Shane was different!
His aura might be frightening at some times too, but he was much weaker than anyone else, while Shane's unawakened blessing had always passively attracted other placid beasts.
Tiamir was not a placid beast but a tamed one, which made the situation similar.
As such, when Shane was young and still not tormented by his father's ideals to turn him into a ruthless murdering marionette, Uncle Max would fly with him on Tiamir through Igra.
Shane reminisced in the good but old memory as he recalled the sensation of flying high vividly.
Caressing Tiamir's snot, Shane greeted him before he saw Uncle Max on Tiamir's back.
"Hello Uncle Max!" He greeted his uncle with a bright smile. Shane felt glad to meet him as the first amongst everyone on his return to Igra, when he heard Max saying
"Everyone is waiting for you, let's go, we don't have much time!"
However, listening to the word "Everyone" caused him to stiffen for a moment, a fact that didn't go unnoticed by his uncle who said,
"Your father has other things to attend to and he's not there! To be honest, everyone is busy and we had to postpone lots of appointments to help you with the world seed!... And that is only because Kia convinced you...urgh!!"
Shane could only flash an apologetic smile upon hearing his uncle.
But, what was even more difficult, was to suppress a smirk when he heard how Uncle Max talked about Aunt Kia.
They were always nagging each other, and Shane had to acknowledge that Aunt Kia was the biggest reason for him to decide to purchase the world seed.
Nevertheless, he would have still purchased the world seed if he had received the same information which Aunt Kai provided, from someone else.
The world seed's mana absorption and storage were already advantageous enough to purchase a world seed. Considering that it was possible for him to purchase a mana heart and even a whole ecosystem for the world that would bloom within him, it wasn't a lost cause.
Shane's body fused with the world seed which meant that they were now one entity and with his own mana heart and ecosystem he could live without the need to move around at all!
He would be able to become stronger by procrastinating as long as it was possible for him to develop his world seed, the Hidden Paradise!
Without further ado, Uncle Max climbed up on Tiamir's back while Shane followed suit after he finished caressing Tiamir.
After flying through the sky for a few minutes, Shane noticed a large hill which attracted his attention as the world seed within him indicated the desire to devour the hill.
This hinted Shane that something about the hill was special and he activated his mana gathering technique which allowed him to see mana particles. After a moment of confusion, he finally understood what the hill was.
'These are the mana stones for my world seed?'
Less than a minute later Tiamir landed on the ground, less than a hundred meters away from the hill made of mana stones. Shane gulped nervously as he perceived how compressed mana was stored inside each mana stone.
Nevertheless, he forced himself to avert his gaze from the mana stone hill to the seven other men and women who smiled at him gently before they chorused.
"Long time no see!"

Epoch: An NPC's Tale
Epoch is a slow-burn LitRPG/Gamelit novel that tells the story of Luke, later named Lucius—a natural inhabitant of the game-like realm of Elyssia where thousands upon thousands of detached, virtually unkillable entities known as the Players were suddenly introduced right after the dusk of the magnificent Age of Heroes. Shortly after the Players arrived, the balance of power in Elyssia instantly shifted. Kingdoms fell, wars were waged, alliances between races were made, and Lucius, after ten years of training in captivity, found himself being used as a pawn in a prophecy that he had no intention to fulfill. With aspirations and desires of his own, Lucius must find a way to cautiously adapt to the drastic changes in the very foundations of the realm after being sent 300 years into a future that was forever altered by the outcome of the war that his captors had lost and the Players won in a victory that resounded throughout the ages, all for a terrible price. Author's Note As an avid fan of the LitRPG genre myself, I wrote this novel with character progression, heavy Gamelit elements, and some degree of world-building in mind. If you like these, please feel free to give this novel a try. Oh, and the MC is also an NPC, in a sense. And wait, isn't this also an isekai story? Well, it's all a bit complicated to explain here. Maybe you should start reading now?
