Primordial Dimensions Chapter 185

Shane's soul and mind were already much older than his body, but he couldn't help but feel excited like a small child. He couldn't believe his luck to be allowed to meet hundreds or even thousand of citizens of a different race by entering their shelters and planets.
After they finished signing all necessary agreements to prevent any possible mishaps, Shane wanted to ask about the best time for him to enter their shelter without creating too much of a commotion. However, the Elus Merchant had already messaged him before he could even ask.
[If it's not too much of a hassle, we would appreciate meeting Sir as soon as possible to strengthen our relationship. Our race is known for being a little impatient. I hope this won't make Sir uncomfortable…
Our Empress is also very interested in meeting you which is a rare sight after she used her foresight skill on someone. As such, we are even more curious about Sir…]
As he carefully read through the message, Shane couldn't help but lift his eyebrow when he saw the content.
He was equally impatient and would love to accept their proposal, but it was hardly possible for him to leave right now.
[I would love to depart immediately but it's not possible under my current circumstances. Due to a specific reason, my body would attract a great amount of mana naturally for the next few weeks and I can't change this, for now at least.
This unique situation will only last for one month and it would be no problem for me to depart afterwards!]
There was no need for him to hide anything. Shane thought that it was better to be honest instead of cooking up a lie which might as well turn into a disadvantage later.
As such, he briefed the Elus-merchant on the most important things he had to know.

Only a few minutes later, Shane received a message that astonished him. There was only one thought in his mind that could describe the Elus-race based on that message.
`They are really impatient and curious!'
[How high is this natural attraction of mana? Does Sir need to absorb it too? If that is the case is the mana inside a Basic-Dimension too shallow or would it still be possible for Sir to enter the shelter as long as nobody else absorbs the mana in the surrounding?]
To Shane, it seemed like they wanted to see him by all means possible. It was weird but also an enjoyable sight because it was rare for someone to be so desperate to see him.
The next message cleared the weird sensation within him, yet, at the same time it shocked him greatly
[To be honest, our Emperor wants to see Sir because the Empress became interested in Sir's capabilities. This caused our Emperor to be curious about Sir too. However, he, unfortunately, has other things to attend in a month from now on and it would be great if Sir can meet our Emperor before…]
'So...not only the Elementals Empress but also the Emperor wants to see me? Am I some sort of a galactic superstar?' He asked himself, not sure what he should think about the Elus-Merchant's message.
Nevertheless, it was obvious that he shouldn't try to annoy the Elementals Emperor needlessly because he wanted mankind to form a business relationship with the Elus race after everything was over.
This caused him to ponder over what to write before he smiled lightly.
[It might be tedious for me to come over, but it should be possible as long as my surrounding has enough mana for me to absorb! Unfortunately, my body's natural demand for mana will increase with each day, and I might not be able to stay in the Elementals Empire for too long!]

Smiling brightly, Shane began to wonder if he was dreaming or if he was truly about to visit a different race's territory soon.
'Everything is going so fast!' He thought.
At least, he was reassured that they didn't want to kill or abduct him because of the Empress's foresight ability!
As such, he was not worried about meeting the Elus-race, but nervous!
'If the Emperor and Empress want to see me, I'll have to visit their main planet, right? I hope that they're already more advanced than we are. Their planet should have already received a mana awakening, without which the Elus-race would probably not survive, at least if the intel about them is correct.'
The Elus race was said to be a race that relied on mana to stay alive. This meant that all the planets inhabited by them had already undergone a mana awakening either before the Elus race arrived or awoke the planet's mana heart.
Either way, if he could receive enough mana on the planet, Shane wouldn't even have to think whether he wanted to meet the Elus race or not.
The Elus Merchant didn't take long to answer him and sent a simple message.
[One thing that we have in abundance is mana! Our origin-planet that Sir would have to visit to meet both the Emperor and Empress has an amount of mana equal to an Intermediate-Dimension. If Sir's words are not wrong, there shouldn't be a problem for both Sir and the citizens who need to absorb their surrounding mana.
I don't want to hurry Sir after not being in touch for 5 days, but it would be better for Sir to depart for the visit in the next few days if possible. Please update me on the day you plan to arrive and we will arrange a small banquet for Sir!]
Shane was in a daze to see how everything was falling into place. He was still standing in the middle of the Giant Fluare-plain without anything around him for miles on end. He was equally nervous as he was excited to meet the two most powerful beings of a different race.
'Do I need to bring a present?' He suddenly asked himself, scratching the back of his head.
'Should I ask my aunts and uncles about the type of gifts that mankind's ambassador's normally present to other races when they try to win the other party's favor?'
Shane had never imagined facing the situation he was in right now. He could only complain about his aunts and uncles teaching him all kinds of stuff but not something important like what preparations were necessary to meet members of a race for the first time.
Furthermore, he was about to meet the most important individuals of the entire Elus race and had no clue about a suitable way to express his gratitude!
Even if his family was busy, he felt obliged to ask them about their opinion.
As such, he wrote a relatively simple message in their group chat.
[What kinds of presents are normal for our ambassadors to give to another race when they meet them for the first time? And is there a huge difference if the first meeting with another race is with their strongest individuals like the Emperor and the Empress?]

Dream of the Abyss
Elisa Mary Grant died in a hospital bed after being stuck in it for six months, and like any other, her soul drifted away from her husk when she passed. For her, death was a release. It merely meant that she no longer have to wake up in pain, breathing through tubes and have doctors flood her veins with dubious chemicals for “experimental treatment”. Free from her mortal constraints and useless body, she felt… at peace, serene, even. Death is bliss, after all, when objectively living sucked to the point of extreme. Therefore, there was no reason to mourn at all and she knew she definitely didn't. ... That was until, on her way for a proper reincarnation, she found herself rudely interrupted and left stranded in the great NoWhere. “Wonderful,” she remarked as she floated in the [Beyond], “Just when I thought that suicide is the answer.” Author's note: Updates every Tuesday-Wednesday, probably some time in between. ... P.S Notes: Contains existential questions and nihilistic themes, rather philosophical. Will be rather sluggish until the MC gets her shit together. P.SS Notes: Story takes time to develop. And maybe uncomfortable. It's not gonna be action-packed or filled with battles, I think. Anyway, it is kinda unusual. P. SSS Notes: It is not LitRpg. Don't be fooled.

Rise of the Business [Class]
'Rise of the Business [Class]' is a story about a world where humanity ended up fleeing through space, after suffering several great disasters at home. On arrival we crash-landed and were soon attacked by magic wielding civilizations who learned how to deal with our weaponry with a speed that belied their seemingly simplistic nature. We were lost. But eventually we survived by abandoning technology and adapting. But this tale takes place thousands of years later, after humanity has had time to rise and falter more than once. It tells of a time where we adapted too much, focusing only on combat and magic and learning to rely on the [System] that our ancestors built in order to compete and survive on this hostile planet with the others. This is a story about our final chance during a time when all of humanity is under siege again, where we struggled to adapt too late and ultimately had to learn how to summon a collection of people from Earth through time and space to come help - but not to the 'besieged time' but back a couple of hundred years - before it went too far down the wrong path, so they can hopefully change things enough to prevent a return to that timeline. Follow Livia as she is ripped from her favorite library and end up getting lucky, or unlucky? On her very first day on the Elderwood continent. While a trio of native lads excitedly leave home to find adventure, oblivious to how very soon they might end up entangled in the fate of the world. But the question that remains to be answered, that this first leg of the journey aims to find out; is what can a LitRPG bookworm like Livia do if called on to change humanity and prepare us all for the future, all before her 21st birthday? Find out soon, as we are finishing up book 1 in the coming two weeks. Cheers for reading this far, have a biscuit!
