Primordial Dimensions Chapter 122

After experiencing the visualization of the Slaughterer's path technique for five hours or from his perspective-five days, Shane didn't want to continue to practice the technique for now, as the trauma of dying several deaths and pain still churned through his mind..
Even though it was only a simulation, the pain felt real enough to him, and Shane could only praise the Dimension-sphere, while still complaining about it inwardly.
In the end, it would definitely help him to find a way to create his own Bloodlust, but it would take some time.
Fortunately, he already had his own killing intent which was extremely beneficial and would save a lot of time.
'Next time, I'll first read the manual!' Shane told himself that he would only enter the Dimension-sphere's visualization function if he truly understood what he had to do.
He was hopeful and expectant about the rough explanation to create his own bloodlust.
Time was running short and he only had 19 hours left to use the Dimension-sphere. It was unclear if he could earn more hours access soon and if he could, when exactly.
As such, he had to utilize the remaining 19 hours efficiently.
'At least, I can test out a few things for now' Shane thought before he rushed out of the colosseum towards the tranquil forest, which he wanted to enter in order to refine his body and cultivate for the next few days.
His plan was quite simple because he would use the nutrition solutions and mana stones in order to refine his physique while the surrounding mana inside the tranquil forest was more than enough to satiate his current hunger to cultivate.
Being able to enter the zone was also extremely beneficial and Shane wanted to enter the 3rd Apprentice rank in both cultivations, and body refining before their trip to the Radiant mount ring dimension would begin.
Currently, his cultivation speed was extremely fast which was beneficial for his situation, even if his pace would slow down drastically in the future.
If he were not under pressure of being prepared for the expedition that would start in a week, he could have done everything nice and easy.

Nevertheless, increasing his fortune was something he couldn't neglect.
Opportunities to earn a huge fortune were normally scarce and only due to his prior knowledge of the Nightshade flowers, and him finding the elemental crystal cave through a lucky coincidence could he reach his current progress.
As such it was crucial to utilize every single opportunity, and creating one with Aisha and the Valkyries' help was not something he could just disregard.
After paying one gold coin in order to enter the tranquil forest, he approached the lake like he did every single time he entered the forest, and searched for a good spot to settle down.
Without wasting any time, Shane closed his eyes, as he exerted the mana gathering technique to perceive the mana particles in his surroundings that had already sensed his arrival.
Shane smiled brightly as the mana particles floated around him.
There was no way for him to be disappointed while cultivating as he felt the amity he had established with the mana particles.
As he initiated the suction force of the mana gathering technique, the mana particles around him entered his body happily, without any resistance, as his pores opened instinctively.
Absorbing everything greedily, he switched to the mana purifying technique to cleanse the mana within his body from impurities, before he lost the track of time.

Standing up, Shane stretched his body, when he decided to finally leave the tranquil forest.
It was Friday afternoon already and in the last four days, many things had changed.
Within the tranquil forest, Shane mainly focused on purifying his mana and breaking through his shackles in order to reach a higher rank, a mission that he had accomplished.
His mana purity reached [15,75%] and his mana pool cultivation reached the 3rd Apprentice rank, which was exactly what he wanted to reach before the expedition with Aisha and the Valkyries would begin.
However, other than absorbing and purifying mana while being in the [Zone] almost every single day, Shane also refined his body by using all [Tier-1 (Trash)] mana stones and nutrition solutions in addition to almost all Tier-1 common quality cultivation resources he had purchased earlier.

As he had wanted to reach the 3rd Apprentice rank in both cultivation and body refining, he hadn't slept a single day.
By cultivating for 12 hours a day and refining his body for a minimum of 8 hours, Shane was left with four hours which he used to learn more about the Slaughterer's path technique.
In the end, thanks to the tranquil forest and mysterious [Zone] state, Shane didn't feel even remotely tired after cultivating which was extremely beneficial as he could continue to refine his body or experiment with his killing intent by enveloping his daggers with it.
However, without being able to create bloodlust and intertwine it with his killing intent, his experiments resulted in an inefficient way to increase his combat prowess, even if one could say that it probably was not entirely useless.
Nevertheless, enveloping his daggers with killing intent required him to focus on the whole process, which was slightly more taxing than circulating the mana within his body and enveloping himself or even external items with it.
As such, circulating mana within his body, releasing his killing intent, and enveloping his daggers at the same time was too much of a hassle with the results Shane could achieve.
It was disappointing, but with enough practice, Shane was sure that everything would become much easier, which was exactly what he aimed for.
Once he could handle his killing intent more freely, the only things he had to do were creating bloodlust, controlling it freely, and intertwining it with his killing intent.
Without being able to do all the steps at once, Shane decided to take it one step at a time, without slacking off the slightest!
In order to improve his proficiency and understanding of the Slaughterer's path technique, he even purchased a [Tier-2 (Rare)] curved longsword called [Crimson Yaeli longsword] for 400 gold coins, which decreased his fortune to less than 100 gold coins.
Even if it was a huge price for a Tier-2 weapon, Shane didn't hesitate to purchase it, because the Crimson Yaeli longsword was similar to the curved bloodlust longsword he wielded within the Dimension sphere's visualization.
Rather than being sad about the price he had to pay, he felt unfortunate, when he found a perfectly suitable curved longsword for his current practice.
However, because it was an extraordinary quality weapon with the rare [bloodlust] ability, it was extremely expensive, even though it was barely a [Tier-1] weapon, suitable for Apprentices.
Nevertheless, with the bloodlust ability, it could even be used at the Expert stage and might even be stronger than the [Tier-2 (Rare)] Crimson Yaeli longsword he purchased instead.
Sighing deeply, Shane could only lament that he was short of gold coins, as he practiced for four hours daily with the curved longsword that was 1.2 meters long with a blade length of 80 centimeters.
Switching between practicing his martial art techniques with the curved longsword and daggers, while trying to envelop either of them with his killing intent without decreasing his focus on the ungraded techniques he practiced, was extremely taxing, but it made Shane happy.
He was overjoyed to practice with another weapon than the set of tempered railore-iron daggers he purchased as he was not allowed to practice his archery skill within the tranquil forest.
Not being allowed to shoot anything within the tranquil forest was unfortunate but understandable because it might damage the surrounding trees that generated mana.
As such, Shane decided to practice his ungraded martial art techniques and weaponry proficiency during the weekend, in order to be perfectly prepared for the expedition.
Suddenly, the system notified him about an anomaly, causing his eyes to widen, as a bright smile appeared on his face.
