This information was important to him as the former would ease up a lot of his accumulated tension while the latter would be odd to figure out if he was honest to himself.

Going with the flow, the newly emerged scaled lizards approached the copulating pair that didn't notice them and Shane did the same with his dagger unsheathed.

It wasn't like he had anything against beasts producing offspring but seeing them doing it wasn't something Shane wanted to see ever again.

As such he would end it quickly and oddly enough, the newly emerged group of scaled lizards suddenly attacked the male scaled lizard that copulated with the female scaled lizard in front of them.

Taken by surprise the scaled lizard could only build up a small membrane of mana. The wind blades and water jets hit it directly, piercing through its scales into the flesh, as blood splattered out of the small holes the attacks created.

Roaring out in pain and fully enraged, the male copulating earthy scaled lizard manifested multiple earth spikes. Aiming them at the intruders, it shot the spikes towards the six scaled lizards in front of it, even though it knew that it was at a huge disadvantage.

Shane was already near the bunch of the fighting scaled lizards, wondering if occurrences like that were something that commonly happened among the scaled lizard race.

Were they jealous or did they just hate this particular earthy scaled lizard?

In the end, it wouldn't matter to him.

As such he waited for the perfect moment to throw in a surprise attack on the scaled lizards and it didn't take long before the awaited moment arrived.

The female aqueous scaled lizard was enraged about how he quickly finished the 'date' and decided to attack the six scaled lizards with water jets. The jets pierced through the opposite wind blades as if they were nothing before they hit two slim breezy scaled lizards, blasting them a few meters away.

These breezy scaled lizards were blasted into his direction as if it was planned. Shane circulated his mana within the lower body to push himself from the ground to accelerate his speed within a moment.

The fighting scaled lizards didn't notice anything amiss while the two breezy scaled lizards that were blasted away fell on the ground, slightly injured due to the impact.

Suddenly they sensed something was wrong and before they could even turn around in order to do anything, they felt something cold piercing their neck. They slumped on the ground and were left with no energy to stand up once again.

The life force within them diminished within a short moment. After killing the two breezy scaled lizards almost at the same time, thrusting both daggers in their neck, Shane set off.

The male earthy scaled lizard was heavily injured and about to die while the female aqueous scaled lizard was about to give up when the remaining four slightly injured scaled lizards looked at the female with lust.

While Shane charged at them with his tremendous speed he started to wonder if there was a scarcity of female scaled lizards or else he couldn't comprehend the situation in front of him.

Nevertheless, without letting himself become too distracted, he charged at the group of four scaled lizards that hadn't noticed his presence until he crossed the range of ten meters.

However, being under the influence of their lust, their reaction speed was essentially slow. It gave Shane enough time to appear behind the first scaled lizard, even before it had noticed him.

Stabbing out with the shiolite dagger, Shane ended its life quickly.

His 7th Mortal stage physique allowed him to appear close to the earthy scaled lizard, that only stood three meters apart from the scaled lizard, he killed a moment ago, almost immediately.

Sensing large mana fluctuations on the ground between both of them, Shane changed his direction to the left, as a thick earth wall shot out of the ground.

Unfortunately for the earthy scaled lizard, Shane hadn't changed his target. He turned to it once again immediately, after taking a few steps to the right, advancing straight towards the earthy scaled lizard.

Shane pierced his dagger through its skull, as brain mass splattered on his face when he pulled the dagger out again.

But there wasn't enough time for Shane to spare to be disgusted by the brain mass on his face. He jumped behind the earth wall, just in time, before a handful of wind blades pierced into the ground he previously stood at.

The last remaining opponents were an almost dead earthy scaled lizard and an exhausted aqueous scaled lizard in addition to two slightly injured breezy scaled lizards.

Exerting all of his strength, Shane decided to change his target as he charged straight towards the heavily injured earthy scaled lizard next to the aqueous scaled lizard that was around ten meters away from his current position.

This distance couldn't be considered much with his physique in addition to mana enhancing his physique by a minuscule margin, as his velocity reached his physical limit.

Immediately after he left the secure position behind the earth wall, wind blades began to shoot at him. Umbra transmitted to him the position the wind blades would hit, which helped Shane evade them rather easily, as he appeared in front of the earthy scaled lizard.

Umbra felt extremely useless the whole time and helping Shane by notifying him about the wind blade's position, was the bare minimum it did.

Nevertheless, he felt overjoyed and told himself that he would be Shane's eyes at the back for the time being, as he could do nothing else right now.

Shane was thankful that Umbra was considerate as he stood in front of the earthy scaled beast.

But rather than stopping his charge and stabbing the seriously injured beast with his dagger at, Shane used his speed and kicked out, after he enveloped his leg with a thick mana membrane.

Blasting away the heavily injured earthy scaled lizard, Shane's foot hurt slightly but it was worth the effort. He noticed that the earthy scaled lizard in front of him was dead, as he smoothly turned towards the exhausted aqueous scaled lizard, and finished it off without showing any mercy.

Immediately after the aqueous scaled lizard was pierced by his dagger, Shane gripped the body, using it as a shield to block the wind blades that pierced into the scaled lizard corpse.

Fortunately, he had Umbra as his back eyes, otherwise, Shane would have most likely thrown himself to one side. There were wind blades pierced in the soil on either side and Shane was unscathed because of Umbra's help.

Using the aqueous scaled lizard as his shield, Shane rushed forward, before he threw the body towards one of the breezy scaled lizards, shocking it.

While throwing the body, Shane retrieved the dagger which was still stuck in the aqueous scaled lizard's back. He leaned forward, in order to stab the breezy scaled lizard with the blue shining lizard corpse on top of it.

Blood and internal organs spilled out of the long wound that Shane had inflicted on the side of the breezy scaled lizard. Shane left the dying lizard on its own without a backward glance as he turned towards the last remaining opponent that was scared.

It looked around as worry, and sheer terror filled its eyes, regretting its decision to have fooled around before.
