Silent Night and Heaven's Kiss stood to the side of the lake while the people from Starlight entertainment began to film their scene.
"You are Miss Night, correct?" Asked a man who came up beside her and whispered so as to not cause issue while filming.
Silent nodded.
"I am Tim Kelly. Lucan saved me from Drow yesterday. I barely got to thank him before I was driven away. Could you tell him that I appreciated it?"
"Sure."
"Great. Thank you."
Tim and Silent continued to quietly talk while they shot the scene over and over.
It was strange to see somebody use the shadow realm in their filming. The plant life had a lot of red tones. The sk was lavender and the sun was blue. It didn't look like a normal place. It wasn't like the material plane that had scenery that could be mistake for earth.
Tim Kelly explained why the were filming in the shadow realm.
"This movie mostly takes place on an alien planet. With that being the case, I think this unique environment works out pretty well."
Silent and Heaven nodded. It made sense.
There was suddenly a scream from the set. It came as a shock because there hadn't be any screaming in the other takes of this scene. It wasn't part of the script.
"It bit me. I can't believe it bit me." Cursed a young actor who was holding his blood covered hand.
Something quickly brushed past them and flew towards another crew member. The thing was moving so fast that they weren't able to see what it was. For a moment, Silent thought of the redcaps Lucan and her had come across In the wizard's tower but she pushed that idea aside.
This thing seemed to be flying through the air, not running across the ground.
Another crew member let out a scream. Everyone quickly turned but the creature was already darting towards the lake water.
A few people who had fast reflexes launched their attacks towards the creature, but it was no use. They weren't able to see it, attacking it wasn't possible.
The crew and the actors moved further away from the lake water. The creature had dived in and not resurfaced. No one had been seriously hurt, but the bites were sudden and painful.

"Alright, everyone. The show is over, let's get back to work." Said the director.
The crew grumbled for a few minutes but when the creature didn't return, they got back to work again.
Both Silent and Heaven vigilantly watched the water for the next twenty minutes but never saw anything come out.
The actors were relieved when the director finally passed the scene they were shooting. Having gotten his approval, everyone started to pack up and head to the next location.
The director and actors had already left for the city where the next scene would take place. Silent and Heaven were about to hop onto Heaven's mount and head back when they heard another scream.
They turned to see something fly away. Silent was able to keep her eyes on it and got a clear picture of what the creature was as it stopped to bite another person.
The tiny creature resembled a pixie, like bud. But this one was made entirely of water. She watched it bite another person and then return to the lake.
Seeing it retreat into the water, the crew didn't waste any more time and quickly packed up there things before they fled.
"What was that?" Heaven asked.
"I think it was a water spirit." Silent said. "But I only to get a brief look. Without that thing stopping to let us confirm, I can only guess."
"Water spirit? Hmm, do you think that there is some temple down in the lake or something?"
"Probably." Silent answered. "If not a temple, there should at least be something down there. Let's mark it on our maps. We can come back later to check it out."
"Sure, we should probably get some water breathing potions." Added Heaven.
Silent nodded and followed after the crew. They had returned to Destol and now had to film a few scenes in the city.
Finding the locations to shoot their film wasn't a hard thing to do. Especially for the next few scenes. Starlight Entertainment was able to use a few of the buildings that they had recently purchased but had not converted to offices yet.
Filming the movie wasn't nearly as exciting as Silent and Heaven hoped it would be. When everyone decided to take a break for lunch, the two sisters decided to leave and not come back. They had other things they needed to do.

Before they left, the two could hear a loud commotion happening at the building turned into residences for the actors and Starlight staff.
Silent and Heaven decided to take a look before they left.
"No way!" A woman yelled out her window towards the street where Tim Kelly was trying to persuade her.
"You only have a few scenes left. It won't take long at all. I know things aren't perfect but we need to complete this project."
"No, No, No. I hate it here. I don't want to do this anymore. That damn thing, bit me this morning, the air is to dry in the city, and my lunch was just awful. You can't do this to people. I won't work until I get properly compensated."
"What is going on here?" The director asked Tim.
"You see-." Tim was about to explain when the shouting from upstairs continued.
"You all just want to take advantage of me. I have value, but you treat me like dirt. If that is the way you are going to be, then find someone else." She yelled before logging off.
Tim Kelly was dumbfounded. He was unsure of what to do. He wanted to log out of the game and chase after her when the director stopped him.
"She is only a D list actor with a few small scenes. Don't worry about it, she can be replaced. To be entirely honest, I wasn't that happy with the scenes she had filmed before, but the others were getting worn out and the quality started to drop. We wrapped because nobody would be able to do anything good. Let's just look for a replacement. It shouldn't be to hard."
The director said to Tim. Turning around, the director was stunned. He had said that it wouldn't be too hard to find a replacement, but even he was surprised by how easy it was to find a suitable prospect.
"You, do you want to act a small part in a movie?"
Silent instantly felt her sister grab her arm. It seems like she was so excited that she was trembling."
"Aren't you going to answer him?" Silent asked her sister.
Heaven's Kiss was freaking out. She had always wanted to be famous. Her becoming an internet celebrity was her trying to walk the path to stardom. When the director turned to her and asked if she wanted a small part in a movie, it was like a dream come true.
She quickly nodded yes, while tightly holding onto Silent.
"Good, good, take a look at this script, we will return to filming later. Your character only has a few scenes. My son is one of your fans, if you act with the same demeanor that you normally have during your broadcast, it will be a perfect fit for this character."
The director wasn't just trying to butter her up. Heaven's Kiss was a perfect fit for what they needed from this minor character. The perfect fit referred to the kind and bubbly persona she normally pretended to have when her team's cameras were facing her.
When the director left, Heaven started to jump up and down while holding onto Silent.
"I can't believe it. I really can't. I am going to be an actress." She excitedly yelped.
Silent smiled. "Calm down. Don't get too worked up. Didn't the director ask you to take a look at the script?" Silent asked.
"Ah, you are right. I need to get serious." She said, taking a seat in the middle of the road and pulling out the script to start studying.
"What are you doing?" Silent asked, as she pulled her sister out of the street and off to the side. "You can't just sit in the middle of the street and block traffic."
"I am sorry, I am just too excited." She said as she kept fidgeting around while trying to memorize the script.
Silent didn't admonish her or find trouble. Her sister really was too excited. She remembered that Heaven would get like this when they were younger. One time an uncle of their had brought over the toy that Heaven had wanted at the time. The twelve-year-old Heaven lost her mind and started running laps throught he house in excitement while hugging the candy making set she had just gotten.
When heaven got excited, she would get worked up into a ball of energy.

The Core of a Factory
An abandoned steampunk arms factory, in the middle of a conflict torn former state of the Empire it served, gains a soul. This transforms it into a Lord, capable of turning land into power. Beset by enemies on all sides it must figure out how to win the war its creators lost a century ago. This is a progressive Dungeon Core novel (which is to say the core will progress and expand in scale, eventually) across multiple dimensions with different characteristics (e.g. steampunk, magic, mythological). It has rationalist leanings (paragraphs of reasoning) and litrpg leanings (there are stat blocks). The core game mechanical idea is something like "what if different flavors of magic power actually did come from controlling land" and then the story is: "what if there was a flavorless (artifact deck) dungeon core". Chapters will be relatively short (my aim is that in three column format each would fit on a wide screen monitor), the first few chapters - setting up the main character and mechanics - are currently the longest in the entire series. I write chapters in blocks, and then release them one a weekday (M-F; 6 PM GMT, unless RoyalRoad's publish thing screws up) until I run out. There may be a few days of gaps here and there if someone finds an egregious error I have to re-write around or if I am behind. In general though one can read this once a weekend. I may do slight retconns and edits, I'll make sure to put it in an authors note if I do.
