My Cultivation System Chapter 259

'Anyway, if this antidote can save his life along, then it is worth it.'
Henrick was looking at the bigger picture. So, he felt the crude souls he spent would be worth it if he could get a powerful subordinate.
A small piece of music came from the light screen along with the line.
As for the antidote, it mysteriously appeared in his hand.
'There are still two more minutes. I can make it back to the treasure land in time.'
Looking at the timer notification with the corner of his eyes, Henrick heaved a sigh of relief.
'Huh?'
Just as he was about to open the portal back to the treasure land, Henrick heard the soul store's notification.
'Should I go for it?'
Since there are more than two minutes, Henrick thought of using the lucky draw; however, he quickly rejected that thought because the lucky draw is not going anyway.
So, without thinking about it much, Henrick ordered the system to open the portal.
...
A few minutes ago,
"Old man, will he survive?"
In outer space, Jaude looked at the portal in the distance and asked the old man beside him.
"Since he was pierced by that rank 6 deal paralysis dagger, living for this long is already a miracle. At most, he might live for another couple of minutes and not more than that."
The old man beside Jaude stroked his clothes a little and replied to Jaude.
This old man was not a servant of Jaude; instead, he was a member of one of the elite families under the royal family of the Arctur world.
Their family head made some transactions with the crown prince Jaude; however, Jaude still owes them a lot of spirit stones.
However, compared to the spirit stones, their family head had ordered him that nothing should happen to Jaude because he is very important for their mission.

"If you want to see his dead body, we can enter the world and at the same time we shall gather all the cultivation resources of this world."
Even though he knew his mission was to protect Jaude, the old man was greedy to the core and when he saw the world's portal to a cultivation world full of cultivation resources, he could not help but urge Jaude.
"Wait...let me check the cultivation of the strongest cultivator in this world."
Even though Juade felt the same in his heart, he was not careless. So, he went back into his majestic spaceship to check the information of the world.
"Old man, looks like what Gaude's subordinate said was true, there is no immortal realm cultivator despite having so many cultivation resources."
Soon, Jaude came out of his spaceship along with a huge device with a monitor screen and informed the old man beside him.
"What a waste! If these cultivation resources were in our world, we would have at least two immortal realm cultivators."
The old man shook his head and continued saying, "Anyway, check the strength of the cultivator who was guarding the other side of the portal. These insects are wasting such invaluable cultivation resources. They don't deserve them."
Thinking about how their world's cultivation resources were almost in the stage of extinction, the beings inside the world in front of him were not even able to use them. So, the old man became enraged and urged Juade to check the guardian's strength.
"Yeah."
Even though Jaude didn't show any emotion on his face, he felt the same in his heart, 'These insects do not deserve these cultivation resources.'
"What?"
While controlling his emotions, Jaude checked the screen of the device in his hands and he was shocked by what he had seen on the screen.

'Haha'
Soon after that, he started laughing like a maniac and said, "Looks like today is really our lucky day."
Jaude felt today was a lucky day because not only he was able to kill his younger brother but he found a cultivation world full of cultivation resources.
What's more surprising was that the guardian of that world is just a level 1 energy transformation realm cultivator.
"What happened, crown prince?"
Seeing the maniacally laughing Jaude, the old man frowned a little and asked him the reason for his laughing.
"Old man, lady luck is smiling on us today."
With an excited smile on his face, Jaude continued saying, "The guardian only has the cultivation strength of level 1 energy transformation. So, what do you think?"
"What? Crown prince, are you sure or that the device is broken?"
The old man could not help but doubt Jaude's words and at the same time, he looked at the device in Jaude's hands with a frown.
"Old man, stop doubting me and my device. It was never wrong and it will not be wrong in the future too. So, how long do you think will take for you to recover your cultivation from this world's suppression."
Since they felt that it would be an easy task to enter the world after killing the guardian; however, they have to lay low until the world's suppression on them disappears. So, Jaude asked the old man beside him because he is much stronger than him and can take care of anyone below the immortal realm cultivator unless they have special skills.
"It will take not more than a month."
After thinking for a moment, the old man replied to Jadue with a slight smile because he was very confident of his recovery speed from world suppression.
"Then what are we waiting for? Let's enter into this world and take all the cultivation resources along with the world soul after recovering our strengths."
When he saw 'World soul', Jaude was greatly excited and looking forward to getting the world soul.
'Looks like I need to plan something to get the world's soul; otherwise, this greedy old bastard will not hesitate to kill me.'
However, he knew with the old man around him, it would be impossible to get the world soul. So, he thought of doing something when the world comes to an end.
Coming to their plan, they will enter the world, kill the guardian and hide from all the cultivators until they recover their strength.
As soon as they recover their strength from the world's suppression, they would start gathering the cultivation resources while killing those who come in their way.
"Crown prince, how do you think we should share the world soul?"
Just when they were about to enter the world's portal, the old man asked Jaude with a slight smile on his face.
"Of course, it goes to you. There is no need to ask me."
Jaude was not a careless person. So, he knew how to adapt to the situations.
However, inside his heart, he thought, 'Wait until we gather all the cultivation resources and kill everyone, I will know what to do?'
After finishing his words, Jaude jumped into the portal with the black-coloured spear in his hands because their motive was to kill the guardian as soon as possible.

Luck Lockyer
Luck Lockyer was the type of man to smirk in the dark, the expression not for anyone but himself. One of perpetual amusement. The bright side of things were hard to find in the shade yet his amber eyes were always searching. The smirk was his default, he knew it, his friends knew it, his family knew it. It was his most natural state. But the death of everyone close to you can affect a downwards curve on the mouths of even the most stoic people. Without purpose, without anyone to do the job for, Luck Lockyer found himself inside an empty forgotten church. The perpetual smirk on his face had slipped to a thin line, his scar more noticeable now than ever before. His amber eyes, the windows to his soul, dull and lifeless. To anyone who knew him, it was the clothing that gave away his mental state, denim pants and a plain black t-shirt. If that wasn't enough, the tears running down his face certainly would, the echoing sobs of a broken man rang across the rundown church. It was on a whim, but Luck Lockyer prayed, he prayed for many things, for death, revenge, friends, but the one prayer dominating his thoughts, a second chance for his family. That was all he wanted. Simple. It was then, on the outskirts of a polluted city, in an abondoned lot, in a forgotten church that Luck Lockyer, the Devil of the Cards, the Bloodless Hand, the Amber Demon, the Broken, was answered by a being from another world and one from his. *found the picture online

I was a webnovel junkie for a long time, but I found it hard to find novels with solid characters, decent plot, philosophical underpinnings and a fully painted world to keep me going. I've taken from every genre I've liked to make a story that satisfies my own cravings for a good story. If you like the story or have suggestions please leave a comment or review. I hope this novel is fun, provocative but above all fun. Enjoy. Yours truly, James Paul Addington PS I will release at least two chapters a week, or one really long chapter. Concerning the tags: The story is primarily Fantasy with Wuxia influence in some elements. Romance won't happen for the first two arcs or so (roughly 40 chapters), I want to build the world before I do that. Tragedy is because of an event that occurs in the book, not the tone of the book. The book is more lighthearted. Slice of Life doesn't occur till the third arc (the romance happens during that arc as well). Magic will also show up more in later arcs, but appears throughout. Reincarnation it's not a reincarnation like in the traditional sense, but it has a similar concept.

[Archive] Legend of the Nameless Hero
A WhiteSamurai original Web Novel There are always the mysterious tales of heroes, those who fight against the Demons, who fight for justice and those who head mighty quests against tyranny. Heroes that are born to destiny, Heroes that are forged through tragedy, and Heroes that are brought to the world in times of great peril and strife. Not all true Heroes are wanted or beloved, but all life understands, that throughout all time and space, for those who truly stand as Heroes, they never need to be called one. The sands of time are the only true judge for those who journey upon the true path, the only one they will ever need. This is the tale, no, the Legend, the Legend of the one who throughout all time, would forever be, the First Hero. This is Their story, a story of true hardship, of a sorrow greater than any other that would stand as a symbol of inspiration no matter the test of time. A tale of darkness, a true curse, an impending evil hidden beyond the horizons that threatened the very future of existence. This is the tale, of one of the few great figures, who, in the face of true evil, continued to stand. . . . _______________________________________________________________ :Disclaimer: _______________________________________________________________ . . . All Chapters are subject to sudden revision, scrapping, or complete removal from the canonical storyline. The author of "Legend of the Nameless Hero" uses RoyalRoad as a method of experimentation with genre's and writing styles for Fantasy-style works for the sake of eventual publication. The end result isn't to release perfect chapters on RoyalRoadl, but eventually develop the story as intended using the best material to produce the highest quality work. The best mentality when reading works from WhiteSamurai is to see it as the ability to read and review pre-release transcripts or "Rough Copies" before publication. Viewer discretion and maturity are both requested and required. . . . _______________________________________________________________ :About: _______________________________________________________________ . . . This story follows direct character point of views along with an intentional third person narrative to explain to the readers what the characters won't. (I don't use my characters to go give extensive explanations for every last thing like EVERYTHING DOES) This tale shall encompass the life of the Hero from the moment she is summoned into the Kingdom of Kremor, to the Legendary Final Clash. This isn't your run of the mill hack and slash raise an army and conquer, I don't follow that bandwagon. Real life holds politics, intrigue, economics, structure, populations, civil opinions, history, psychology, heart, suffering, wonder, advancement, curiosity, ambition, and so many more things that would lead to me hitting some character limit. I refuse to take the same route that others use by simply ignoring these factors, my worlds, my stories, are as real as they get. There's no plot armor here, if someone screws up, they've screwed up and there's no magical sword in a well for them. I write in 'Seasons' not 'Books' as many often do, these are generally, not always, hundreds of chapters long, though as I have yet to finish a season, the average length is in the air. I go by an ideal of what I call 'Universal Lore' which includes the policy that things that exist within the story don't follow the rule where the Protagonist needs to be there so that it will happen. There will be some things that will happen, and the hero, and sometimes the reader, won't know happened until they enter a place, or news gets to them. A person needs to be in the right place at the right time, I hate plot holes and meta characters above all else... For my works, comments are practically demanded as reactions, thoughts, and various viewpoints are like sweet fuel to my writing spirit. Reviews are highly accepted and appreciated, BUT ONLY IF THEY ARE EDUCATED AND THOROUGHLY EXPLAINED. Those that throw down a low rating ARE HIGHLY REQUESTED to extensively detail and explain their viewpoints on the work. They should also be willing to come back to the work at a later date if messaged by the Author, Me, due to issues they mentioned being taken care of. I'm never against scrapping a chapter or rewriting several paragraphs if there are character or story discrepancies. I want the highest quality work possible, and every comment, every review, are tools for me to use to further that goal. . . . Enjoy the work. ~White Status: (Ongoing)
