Jiang Yao did not need to ask; she knew that the baby could only be Liang Yueze's. It did not look like Luo Ruoran had expected to be pregnant, so it was even more impossible for Liang Yueze to know.
"No." Luo Ruoran shook her head. "Don't tell him, and don't tell Lu Xingzhi either."
"Why?" Jiang Yao asked.
"Yueze and I are already divorced. There's no need to burden anyone with a child. He will remarry another woman, and she will bear his children. This is my baby. It's not like I can't afford to raise this baby. There's no need to tell him."
Luo Ruoran rejected her question. "Jiang Yao, can you help me keep this a secret? Don't tell anyone, including your husband. I'll be leaving tomorrow and won't be back for a while. I can give birth to my child overseas."
"But you'll have to come back sooner or later. With the relationship between the Luo and Liang families, they will find out eventually that you've had a child." Jiang Yao still could not understand why Luo Ruoran and Liang Yueze would divorce so suddenly.
