The Tale Of Three Sisters Chapter 205

To mark the happy occasion, the group planned a bonfire celebration on the island to celebrate Agran and Ella's reconciliation.
The momentous event finally arrived five days later.
Zemeth was away the whole day.
"Where is Zemeth?" Kate asked Ramza.
"He will arrive soon, bringing with him the biggest surprise that can make you and your siblings happy," Ramza said with a smiling face.
Kate's brows knitted together. "Really-? What could it be?" she asked curiously.
"My love, don't torture yourself in trying to guess what the surprise will be. You will know soon enough," Ramza said. "And I'm sure you will like it!" he assured her.
"Okay, as you say so..." Kate responded.
Two hours later, the night is fast approaching, the ladies and the men were already sitting around the bonfire to start the party.
That's when Zemeth arrived on the island, together with Bhork, Dredo, Simuz, Ogeme, and with an old woman..."Ladies...this is my surprise for you! Your beloved Aunt Margie, standing in front of you, alive and healthy!" he announced in elated voice.
"Oh my!" Kate and Ella's said in chorus, their eyes widened in surprise and disbelief after seeing their supposed to be dead Aunt Margie standing alive and breathing in front of them!
"My beautiful nieces! I'm so happy to see you again!" Aunt Margie smiled broadly. She was sporting a mega-watt smile on her face.
Kate and Ella rushed to their Aunt, tears of happiness rolled in their cheeks, as they hugged each other tightly.
"Aunt, we thought you already died! How come you are alive! But I saw you inside the coffin, no longer breathing! What's going on!" Ella asked her Aunt Margie in disbelief.
Aunt Margie laughed. "The boys put me to sleep first, my friend thought I was bitten by the snake. My friends carried my dead body back to the village, and sometimes...during the night of the vigil, they put the mourners to sleep and took my real body away and replaced my corpse with the banana trunk that looks like me. They brought me to the Nephelim Kingdom and entrusted me in the care of Zemeth's parents. Zemeth told me that he will explain everything after he will save Ivy and Kate from the castle. I doubted him at first, but I have no choice during that time but to believe him. Besides I'm in a foreign land, I don't know how to go home. His family was kind to me though...the rest is history," she concluded her narration. "And Zemeth told me everything that took placed here while I'm away..." she added.

On the other hand, Ivy watched the happy reunion between her Aunt and siblings as if she was watching an ordinary scene, her emotion was not stirred, she only feels amazement.
After some time, Aunt Margie looked at Ivy with tears in her eyes. Zemeth already told her about what happened to her niece. Although she was deeply saddened by Ivy's fate, she was still grateful that she's alive! All of her nieces were alive! She thought that she will never see them again, especially Kate and Ivy!
She walked towards Ivy and hugged her tightly. "I'm glad you're alive, Ivy! I thought I will never see you again!" she said, tears of happiness sprang in her eyes.
Ivy allowed the old woman to hug her. As days go by, she comes to realize that even though she doesn't know these people, but the attention and care they showered her, made her special and loved. It feels nice to be part of their lives. She's willing to be a part of this loving family. She's lucky to find a loving family to belong with. Besides, she feels a warm feeling enveloping her heart after the old woman hugged her. As if they have known each other for a long time.
Margie looked into her niece's eyes. "Ivy, you shall call me, Aunt Margie, from now on, okay?"
Ivy smiled. "Yes, Aunt Margie," she said obediently.
Margie hugged Ivy again, her eyes radiating in happiness.
Kate and Ella went to their Aunt's side and they formed a group hug.
The men on the sideline watched the wonderful and heartwarming scene unfolding in front of them, tears of joy shining in their eyes.
All the survivors of the tragedy in the castle finally reunited on this wonderful occasion.
The bonfire party started...
Zemeth sat beside Ivy and looked at her pretty face. They locked eyes for a few seconds. Their eyes and hearts were communicating privately. He patted Ivy's head affectionately. "Are you enjoying this happy occasion, Ivy?" he asked, wanting to know her mood.
Ivy nodded her head and smiled. "Yes, this is such a happy occasion. I'm fortunate that you are willing to share it with an orphan like me. I feel so blessed!" she replied, beaming.

Zemeth smiled. "From now on you will see more happy gatherings like this," he said, promising her more happy occasions in the days to come.
Ivy looked at him. "Really? Why? Is there another happy reunion coming again soon?" she asked.
Zemeth nodded his head. "Yes! We will be looking forward to Kate and Ramza's wedding and also Ella and Agran's happy union. And after them, if you are ready to marry me, it's gonna be our wedding that will follow soon," he said. He winked meaningfully at her.
Ivy replied to his remarks with a giggle.
Zemeth smiled and glanced at the faces of the people around him. Everyone was wearing a happy smile on their faces. It filled his heart with gladness.
...
Kate and Ramza were staring fondly at each other.
"We're going to get married soon! I'm happy and excited, how about you, my love?" Ramza asked his sweetheart.
Kate smiled radiantly, like a bride walking towards the altar, looking at her groom. "I feel excited too! I can't wait!" she replied.
Ramza planted a loving kiss on Kate's forehead. "I have been looking forward to this day... seeing my friends got their happiness as well makes me want to shout out loud. It will make our union much more blessed!" he said and looked around him, everyone was smiling, his heart was bursting with elation.
...
Agran pinched Ella's side. "Stop looking at your Aunt Margie, let her have a chat with Grandpa Jegun, they can relate well with each other," he said.
There were tears of happiness in Ella's eyes. "I just can't take my eyes off her! I'm so happy that my beloved Aunt is alive! I feared that if I close my eyes, she will disappear again. I'm afraid that when I sleep tonight and wake up tomorrow, this happy occasion is just a dream..." she said.
Agran smiled. "Worry not, my wife! What happened tonight is real. Rest assured that when you open your eyes tomorrow, you will see the same people again. You know why? Because they will be staying one whole week with us here on the island!" he said and enveloped her in his sweet embrace.
Ella's heart was filled with gladness, if this is just a dream she doesn't want to wake up anymore.
...
Margie watched her nieces beside their men. "Look at that...I'm only gone for a while and this is what I see now...my nieces were having boyfriends and they will get married soon! And all these happened without my knowledge!" she said with a sigh.
Jegun smiled. "Margie, worry not. I can guarantee you with my life that your nieces' future is in good hands. They bagged the best husbands around, they are wonderful and responsible men, I can vouch for their character. Although, they are not my relatives... I consider them as my adoptive grandsons. It's my good fortune meeting them in my lifetime. Because of them, I experienced what it feels like having a family," he grinned.
Margie looked at him. "You seemed to be a good judge of character. I trust your words," she finally said.
"I am!" Jegun replied with a smile.
Once again, everyone enjoyed the camaraderie, delicious food, spectacular beach scenery, and the wonderful presence of each other.
A wonderful memory that could last a lifetime.
What a happy day!

It's heavily inspired by East Asian culture, folklore, and mythology, with what is likely going to be a decidedly Western artistic license. Demons Don't Lie
Algier, average human and recent convict, has committed the gravest sin of all: demon slaying. His fate? To participate in the Culling, a battle-royale style tournament that’s televised live to the world, where all the worst criminals go to die. As with all tournaments, a prize is on the line. If Algier survives, he can have any wish granted by the Marquises, the new rulers of Earth following the demons’ invasion. However, there’s little hope for survival in a tournament designed to have demons do the work of the executioner, especially for a human. Demons are stronger, faster, wiser, and more talented than the average human, and, despite his crime, Algier is no demon hunter. Mentally defeated before the tournament even begins, Algier is torn between becoming another demon’s points and fighting on in his dead mother’s legacy. But should he choose to fight, there is one advantage that Algier has that can tip the odds in his favour: Demons don’t lie, but humans can. How to read this story Demons Don't Lie is written from the perspective of an unreliable (lying) narrator. There are many inconsistencies within the story which are placed there intentionally. It's up to the reader to decide what is the truth and what is the lie. Promotion Full quality cover image

This story is in a unique novel/script hybrid format. We will be writing most our stories in this format as we're going for a "written anime" experience, meaning we want our readers to feel like they're watching something when they're reading our stories. It might take about a chapter or 2 to get used to it. Feedback is always appreciated.
