The Tale Of Three Sisters Chapter 196

The Farewell Party on the island was already in full swing when Zemeth, Aspen, Ivy, Kate, and Ella arrived on the island.
It was already past 3:00 in the afternoon.
The men were having fun swimming in the ocean and playing in the sand.
Kate, Ivy, and Ella sat on the sand under the shade of the tree, watching the boys having fun.
"You want to swim in the ocean, Ivy?" Kate asked. Last night when they were about to sleep in the room, they heard Ivy crying silently under the blanket. She must be crying for her dead husband. She wants to stop her sister's grieving over someone she doesn't love, but go against it because it's useless, her sister won't listen to her.
Ivy shook her head. "I don't like swimming today," she said with a gloomy sigh.
Ella rose to her feet. "I'll go and find Agran in the kitchen to help him prepare the dishes for the bonfire party," she said.
Kate nods her head. Ella sauntered towards the location of the kitchen.
Ivy looked at the men frolicking in the water. "They're good men," she commented.
"Yes, they are," Kate agreed. She looked at Ramza swimming with his friends. She was thankful that she and Ramza were given a second chance to see each other again. Now that the castle was gone, she and Ramza can finally look ahead to their bright future together. She hopes that her sister Ivy can learn to trust and love Zemeth again so that the couple can also have a happy ending down the road. As for her youngest sister Ella, she only has one wish - that her transformation can be reversed, so that her youthful looks will be restored.
Although the castle has been destroyed, her sisters were now facing personal problems and dilemmas on their own. Hopefully, things will get better for Ivy and Ella soon.
Zemeth approached the two women. "Girls, aren't you going to swim in the ocean?" he asked.
Ivy and Kate shook their heads.
"Ivy is not in the mood to swim. I can't leave her alone," Kate answered.
"You can join Ramza in the ocean. I will stay here with Ivy," suggested Zemeth.
Kate sighed and scratched her head, she was tempted to join Ramza in the ocean, but she can't leave her sister.
Ivy looked at Kate. "Do you want to swim?" she asked.
Kate smiled. "It's okay. I will stay here with you so that you won't be alone," she answered.
"Go ahead. You've been staring at the ocean wanting to swim. Go now! I'll be okay here," Ivy urged her.
"Are you sure? You're gonna be okay here? Don't worry Zemeth is a good man, he will take care of you," Kate said and rose to her feet, she winked at Zemeth and walked away, going to the ocean 'cos Ramza was waiting for her.

A few minutes of awkward silence descended between Zemeth and Ivy.
Zemeth cleared his throat. "How are you feeling now, Ivy?" he asked, trying to start a conversation with her.
Ivy released a troubled sigh. "My husband died and was buried yesterday. Honesty, I'm not okay," she answered.
Zemeth breathed deeply. "I'm sorry for your loss," he said. He looked at her affectionately. He wants to hug her, but he can't do it, she will get angry for sure. She's so close - yet so far away. His hands were itching to hold her. But the only thing he can do right now is to stare at her.
Ivy looked at him for a few seconds. "Thank you for keeping me company here..." she replied and fixed her stare at the blue ocean in front of them.
"Hmm... Ivy... May I ask you some personal question?" he said.
"Okay, what is it?" she said.
"Did you and your husband got married in a ceremony?" he asked curiously, fearing her answer.
Ivy shook her head. "No...there's no ceremony. Maxwell told me that he is my husband and I'm his wife. I call him husband ever since," she answered.
"Ah, okay...thanks for your answer," Zemeth said. So, there was no ceremony! Maxwell had orchestrated all these, erasing Ivy's memory and pretending they are a couple. His hands formed into a fist, he's furious! But there's no use getting angry at the vampire who already perished along with the castle. It's over now...but the lasting damage was shouldered by Ivy. He will go back to the Nephilim Kingdom in a few days and find a healer that has the power to restore Ivy's memory.
"Do you have a family or relatives?" he asked again.
Ivy shook her head. "I don't know anyone or any relatives. I'm all alone on my own now that my husband is dead," she said sadly.
"I'm sorry to hear that," Zemeth said.
Tears glimmered in Ivy's eyes.
"Are you hungry? I'll find you something to eat," he offered.
Ivy shook her head. "No thanks, I'm still full. We just finished eating lunch a few hours ago," she declined his offer.
"Is it okay if I stay here with you?" asked Zemeth.
Ivy smiled. "No problem, you can stay here as long as you like," she responded.
"Thank you, Ivy," Zemeth said.
They both stared at the marvelous ocean in front of them, occasionally glancing at the boys swimming noisily in the ocean.
Zemeth no longer asks her any question.
Ivy felt contented staring at the ocean, watching the gentle waves came crashing on the shore.
Silence blanketed around them.
One hour later.
Zemeth stood up. "I'm going to stroll on the seaside. Would you like to go with me?" he asked.

"Okay..." she responded with a smile looking deeply into his eyes. She found him easy to get along with as if she had known him for a long time.
Zemeth smiled and extended his hand to help her, but she didn't take it. She rose to her feet on her own.
They began strolling in the seashore and saw the seagulls flying in the sky. They walked side by side in comfortable silence.
Meanwhile, Kate and Ramza were looking at her sister Ivy and Zemeth strolling in the seashore.
She smiled. "Hmm...they get along well. I'm relieved..." she said.
Ramza nods his head. "Ivy's heart probably knew Zemeth. They can start being friends first and take it slow - until Ivy has completely forgotten her fake husband and fall in love with my friend again," he commented.
Kate smiled. "I felt sad about what happened to my sister, but I guess, Zemeth's intention is honorable. I have to trust him," she said.
"When it comes to my friend, you don't have to worry about a thing. Ivy is in good hands," Ramza assured her.
Kate smiled. "Glad to know that," she said. "How about Ella and Agran? What do you think about them?"
"Well, they started being friends... just let the little guys enjoy their friendship first. If they are meant to be together, they will eventually fall in love with each other sooner or later," Ramza elaborated.
"And how about us?" Kate asked.
Ramza grinned. "Let's get married soon so that we can have little Ramza and little Kate," he winked naughtily at her.
Kate giggled and swam away from him, he went after her, they erupted in laughter.
Meanwhile... in the kitchen.
Agran looked at Ella. "How's your sister Ivy?"
Ella released a deep sigh. "She still doesn't acknowledge that the three of us are sisters. So Kate and I just go along with her so that she won't feel confused. Besides, she's still grieving over her fake husband, we don't want to add to her burden," she explained sadly.
"Just give your sister enough time. Just follow Grandpa Jegun's advice so that Ivy won't feel pressured. All she needs is a space for herself and a huge amount of understanding from you and Kate," Agran said in a voice soft with affection.
Ella smiled at Agran's words of wisdom. "So, how about you? How are you?" she asked since they no longer see each other every day.
Agran smiled. "I'm fine here. Everything on this island is good, especially that the castle was already destroyed. We will be enjoying peace of mind from now on. But I always missed your presence here on the island. If I see you, my day is already complete," he said with simple directness.
Ella rolled her eyes.
"What-? You don't believe me? You don't miss me at all?" he asked, sounding sad.
Ella giggled. "Of course, I miss you!" she confessed.
"Glad to know that," Agran said, pleased with her answer, he charmingly winked at her. "Thanks to your presence, you just completed my day!" he whistled happily.
Ella continues giggling while preparing the fish and chicken. The meat will be roasted in the fire later when the bonfire is about to start.
Three hours later.
Darkness already descended on the island.
The men gathered firewood near the sea and started the bonfire. Agran brought the fish and meat into the area. The men made fires for roasting the meat. They also had special wine for the occasion to celebrate the extinction of the castle and commemorate their camaraderie because four of the men will finally go home to their Nephilim Kingdom tomorrow.
When the bonfire party started, there was dancing and singing from the boys while the girls were contented watching the boys having fun in 8front of them.
Grandpa Jegun made a speech. "Guys, I want you to know that I'm lucky to meet all of you. You are like my children, my sons! You will always welcome to visit here on this island anytime. I wish you good health, prosperity, and happiness where ever you are. Thank you for making me part of your life. I love you all," he said teary-eyed, feeling emotional about their impending parting.
Ramza stood up and delivered his speech. "To Grandpa Jegun, you will always remain our beloved Grandpa. You will stay alive in our hearts forever. To my comrades, another adventure has ended. We will meet again in the future. Time to go back to our usual daily routine and enjoy life with our loved ones, cheers!" he said.
"Cheers!" the crowd replied happily.
Zemeth stood up and held his glass high above his head. "This one is for Immortal Vearah and Granny Esmeralda for their sacrifice. We will never forget you, girls! Thank you for your sacrifice!"
"Cheers for Esmeralda and Immortal Vearah!" the crowd chanted in unison.
Jegun addressed them, sporting a bright smile on his face. "Let's start the feast!" he said.
The foods were being arranged appetizingly on the table.
They began eating.
The merrymaking continues until midnight.
Finally, the farewell party ended. Everyone was having a good time and in good spirits.
Aspen and the girls left the island and went back to the mountain to retire for the night.

The Deathseeker [Under Revision]
NOTE: This story has dark elements, but it's neither grimdark nor particularly edgy. It's also currently being revised. Satan's Axe...Lord of High Honor...The Immortal Giant...The Black Maelstrom...Son of Thunderfield...The Gods' Retribution. Dalric had many names. None were as fitting as his last, Dalric the Deathseeker. Born from an unwanted mating between the greatest warriors of the time, death was his only true kin. It birthed him, molded him, and now standing in the middle of a lifeless battlefield, it drenched him. The blood of thousands of soldiers soaked his skin. Two hundred thousand men approached him that day. All of them sought his life, none of them left with theirs. But they would not die in vain, they had accomplished their mission. Hidden beneath a thousand layers of their blood, was Dalric's very own. Feeling his life fade, he gazed weakly at his work. A seemingly endless array of corpses laid battered and disfigured before him. Some bore faces of horror, most had no face at all. His most trusted companion floated in front of him, blocking the view. Waves of sorrow flowed between them. “My time has finally come. I’ve begged for death and it’s finally arrived. My work is done...and so is yours. You’re free to be who you were meant to.” With his contract with the gods fulfilled, they were truly free. The centuries of torment would end. No longer would they have to walk the path of a monster. Little did Dalric know, the devil was in the details. What To Expect: A good time. In a few more words than that, a cast of believable characters in a unique world dealing with conflicts and problems a little bit more complex than punching the big evil guy in the face.
