The Tale Of Three Sisters Chapter 192

The next day.
After breakfast, the men teleported to the lake.
They were shocked to see clear water in the lake. The murky color water was gone replaced with pristine water. The amazing transformation happened overnight.
Jegun looked at the damp surroundings around the lake, it was evident that the rain lasted until the wee hours of the morning.
The men began securing the rope and tied them to the biggest tree near the lake.
Fifteen minutes later.
Aspen and the girls arrived in the area.
Ramza and Agran locked eyes with Kate and Ella for a few seconds.
Zemeth looked at the boys. "Ready?" he asked.
"Yes, we're ready!" Aspen and Ramza answered in unison.
The boys tied the rope securely around Zemeth, Ramza, and Aspen's waist.
"Why there's a rope, Grandpa?" Ella asked Jegun.
"The rope will alert us if something will go wrong with the boys while diving in the water and also if they found the crystal coffin, they can tie the rope around the coffin so that it's easy to bring them to the surface," Jegun explained.
"Ah, I see..." Ella said.
After the men were done tying the rope to the three divers... Zemeth, Aspen, and Ramza put the pearls inside their mouth.
Jegun looked at the men and start counting from one to five.
"Guys, get ready...one...two...three...four...five!" he said.
The men dived into the water at the same time.
The spectators were waiting apprehensively beside the lake. The rope was falling deeper as the divers plunged towards the bottom.
...
A few minutes later, Zemeth, Aspen, and Ramza were looking at each other, after they landed at the bottom. They looked around the surrounding area...they don't see any coffin at all. They decided to scan the bottom from south to north and east to west.
The men split up and searched the bottom for any sign of the coffins.
Thirty minutes later, they met up in the middle, and about to give up since they already searched the entire area of the bottom of the lake but they can't find any coffin at all.
Suddenly...a water whirlwind took shape below them and sucked the three men down...bringing them into a newly created opening...their fears started to subside after the water movement returned to its normal state. The whirlwind disappeared in a blink of an eye after they entered the opening... it looks like a passage of a cave which was submerged in water.
When they reached the end of a passage and enter a chamber...they saw something in there that blows their mind away!
Aspen's heart was beating faster in his rib cage because he saw the floating piece of land inside the cave's chamber which was submerged in water about waist-deep high. The wooden house and the golden tree were still intact. He swims swiftly towards the house and opens the door...there...inside the house...he saw two crystal coffins floating in the water!

He signaled his companions to enter the house.
Ramza and Zemeth's approached the house and their eyes widened upon seeing the two coffins inside, intact!
They gave each other a thumb up sign.
Ramza signaled his companions that he will come out of the water to inform everyone that they found the coffin.
Zemeth nodded his head.
Ramza went back to the passageway and swam to the surface in rapid motion, excited to bring the good news.
The moment Ramza's head came out of the surface of the water he immediately took out the pearl from his mouth and shouted. "We finally found the coffin, guys!" he said aloud.
Everyone cheered in happiness. Tears glistened in their eyes.
"I'm going back to the cave to help the boys get the coffin out of the chamber of the cave, one at a time. Stay tuned!" Ramza said and popped the pearl back in his mouth. He swam back towards the bottom of the lake.
Kate and Ella were already crying silently beside Jegun. They were feeling emotional. Their whole being was gripped with intense nervousness and excitement on what to expect.
Jegun can only remain silent, not losing his composure. He understood very well the sisters' jumbled emotion right now.
Back at the bottom of the lake.
Ramza entered the passageway leading to the chamber of the cave. There... he saw the guys tying the rope securely around Esmeralda's coffin.
A few minutes later, the men finished securing the rope around the coffin.
Zemeth gave them a thumb up, meaning he will stay inside the chamber of the cave watching over Ivy's coffin, while Aspen and Ramza will escort Esmeralda's coffin out of the cave and bring it to the surface of the lake.
Aspen went out of the passageway first since it won't allow two-person to pass through at the same time. Then he slowly pulled the rope towards him...the coffin was passing the passageway smoothly while Ramza was following from behind.
When they finally get the coffin out of the cave's mouth...they begin their ascent towards the surface of the lake.
A few minutes later.
Aspen and Ramza emerged from the surface of the lake.
The people waiting by the lake finally saw a glimpse of Esmeralda inside the crystal coffin.
The rest of the guys pulled the crystal coffin from the surface of the lake and placed it on the ground a few meters away from Jegun and the girls.
The men immediately untied the rope from the coffin.
Aspen and Ramza began their descent back to the bottom of the lake.
Meanwhile, the girls were overcome with their grief and rushed to Esmeralda's coffin, they began sobbing hard.

"Granny, what happened to you! Please wake up!" Kate said trying hard to open the lid. But no matter how hard she tried she can't open the cover of the crystal coffin.
One by one, the man takes a turn to open the coffin's cover but they all failed to succeed with the simple task.
It's now Jegun's turn, he tried opening the cover...a few minutes later... he finally gives up. "It seemed the cover was protected by a spell, we can't open it unless we know the spell," he told them his judgment.
Suddenly...several butterflies can be seen hovering in the air...a few minutes later... the leader of the butterfly... the biggest and the most beautiful of them all appeared and landed on Esmeralda's coffin.
Everyone stared at the butterfly trying not to make any sound, fearing the butterfly will fly away.
Jegun and Agran looked at each other.
"Grandpa, Immortal Vearah's spirit animal is here? Am I right?" Agran whispered into his grandpa's ear.
Jegun nodded his head. "Yeah. She's here! This is getting interesting!" he murmured to himself.
A few minutes later.
The men emerged from the surface of the lake bringing with them Ivy's crystal coffin. They hovered in the air and landed on the ground two meters away from Esmeralda's coffin. They lowered Ivy's coffin into the ground.
Zemeth and Ramza untie the rope from the coffin.
After putting the rope away, Zemeth tried to open the cover of the coffin but failed to do so.
The men took each turn opening the cover of Ivy's coffin but they also failed just like Zemeth.
Both Esmeralda and Ivy's coffin can not be opened easily.
"Why we can't open the cover of the coffin!?" Zemeth asked exasperatedly.
Everyone was feeling frustrated as well.
Jegun glanced at the butterfly. "Guys...I will try to ask the butterfly to help us," he said.
They all looked at the butterfly that landed in Esmeralda's coffin.
Jegun slowly went to the coffin and looked directly at the butterfly. "Please, Immortal Vearah...can you open Ivy's coffin for us, please?" he begged.
"Please...."
"Please...."
"Please..."
"Please...."
"Please..."
The rest of the men joined in the begging.
A few seconds later. The butterfly flew and landed on Ivy's coffin. The butterfly's body shimmered... releasing a dazzling explosion of colors covering Ivy's coffin from top to bottom, it lasted for a few seconds.
Then the butterfly hovered in the air, above Ivy's coffin.
Jegun moved quickly and went to the coffin and lifted the cover easily. He put the cover down in the ground. He placed a finger on Ivy's nose. "I'm sorry, guys...Ivy is no longer breathing," he said sadly.
Zemeth put his finger in front of Ivy's nose as well. Grandpa was right. Ivy was no longer breathing, she's dead! He looked at the two sisters and shook his head, tears sprang in his eyes.
Kate and Ella rushed to their sister's coffin and began sobbing hysterically.
"Sister Ivyyyyy...please wake up!" Ella cried.
Kate was sobbing hysterically unable to say anything due to profound grief.
It was a heartbreaking scene to watch, the men were teary-eyed.
Then Jegun looked at the butterfly hovering in the air. "Dear Immortal Vearah, is there any way to bring back Ivy to life? Please, pity the girl, please have mercy on her! Ivy still has a long life ahead of her, please..." he begged again for Ivy's life.
The men looked at the butterfly and repeated Jegun's pleading.
"Please...Immortal Vearah...have mercy...please bring Ivy back to life..." they chanted over and over again.
The butterfly descended on the coffin and landed on Ivy's mouth.
Kate and Ella stepped away from the coffin.
The body of the butterfly that landed on Ivy's mouth released a purple light that penetrated Ivy's mouth, the heart-stopping scene lasted for several minutes until the butterfly stopped and fell into the coffin, looking like it was losing its strength.
Several butterflies flew towards Ivy's coffin as they helped their leader hover back in the air.
Then all the butterflies landed on Esmeralda's coffin bathing the crystal coffin with bright colors from top to bottom. The mind-blowing spectacle lasted for a few minutes.
The men watched in awe.
Suddenly, both Esmeralda's coffin and the butterflies vanished from their eyes instantly.
Everyone was stunned.
"Huh? Where did Esmeralda's coffin go?" asked Simuz in astonishment.
"I think if I'm not mistaken... Immortal Vearah's spirit brought Esmeralda's coffin somewhere. Just my wild guess..." answered Jegun.
Aspen nodded his head in agreement. "I agree with Grandpa's statement. The teacher took her disciple's coffin with her and brought it somewhere..." he said.
They shifted their attention to Ivy.
Zemeth put his finger in front of Ivy's nose. A wide smile broke on his lips. "She's breathing!"
Everyone gasped in shock and happiness.

Two And A Half Deadmen
Silver-Spruce is a very strange and very haunted town. Ghosts inhabit its buildings and walk its streets. Some of them friendly and sane. Some of them not so much. Alder helps ghosts. Helps them fulfill their last requests so they can move on to whatever comes next. Sometimes the ghosts aren't so friendly and have to be moved on by force. Alder does that as well. And he's gotten rather good at it too. After a particularly rough exorcism, he finds himself following a strange ghost to a local tourist attraction. And while Alder never means to find himself caught up in chaos, monsters, magic, and mayhem always seem to have a way of finding him. You want more specifics for what you're reading? Here you go: This is Urban-fantasy but a little bit of a different spin. Often the protagonists in such stories tend to be the bigger fish in their world, or at least far from small fry. Be they legendary boogie men or badass wizards (which is in no way a bad thing, I love a lot of those stories.) But I thought it would be fun to have a protagonist who's far closer to the bottom end of the scale. He has some magic, and it's potent in its own way. But he isn't the big dog or a fighting machine. Outside of his bubble of influence, our protagonist is essentially a normal human as far as powers are concerned. And while you should be warned that this story will get dark in some places it's (hopefully) balanced out by humor and the lighter stuff. I'm not sure how to end this synopsis section so I'll just say bye. Bye!
