The Tale Of Three Sisters Chapter 118

Ella was smiling when she put the platter of roasted chicken in front of her sister in the bed. "Sister, when I entered the chamber, you and Zemeth were talking seriously. I'm sorry to interrupt," she said apologetically.
Ivy smiled. "Don't mention it."
"Aww, my wild guess is...he already confessed to you...was he proposing to you, sister?" Ella asked, her eyes glimmered with mischief.
Ivy was shaking her head, dang! she can't hide anything from her sister. "Well...he did confess his feelings towards me and offered me marriage... I don't know how to respond..." she openly admitted her dilemma and sighed.
Ella smiled. "Sister, don't turn him down. "He is a handsome guy and decent enough. You and Zemeth look perfect together. If he asked again, say yes! Then bring me with you to the Nephilim Kingdom..." she suggested.
"Huh? Why do you want to go to the Nephilim Kingdom?" Ivy asked her sister.
"B-because of my transformation. I am now an old woman. I can't bear the humiliating questions and stares that the villagers will direct at me. I can't bear the look of pity in their eyes. I should start a new life in a new place," Ella said sadly.
Ivy hugged her sister tightly. "I'm so sorry about your situation, sister. Don't worry, I'll ask Zemeth if they have a powerful healer in their kingdom that can help restore your youthful looks," she said, feeling guilty and saddened by her sister's awful condition.
"Don't worry, sister, even if I looked old, I can still do household works. I can serve you and Zemeth. That is my payment for keeping me around your house," Ella said, cheerfully.
Ivy was sighing. Now she has a big reason to accept Zemeth's proposal. For the sake of her sister, she will accept his love and offer of marriage. As long she and her sister will be together, everything will be alright. She can continue taking good care of her younger sibling if they are living under one roof.
She already made up her mind. The next time Zemeth will talk about his marriage proposal she will say yes right away. "Don't worry sister, if marrying Zemeth can make you happy, then I'll do it," she said, wanting to please her.
"B-but sister...I'm just joking...I mean if you don't like him...you can turn him down. You don't have to sacrifice your happiness because of me," Ella protested.
Ivy was silent for a minute or two.
Ella peered into her sister's eyes. "Tell me...when Zemeth is around...you don't feel any emotion at all towards him?" she inquired. She doesn't want her sister to marry the guy she doesn't like just because she asked her to, it would be unfair for her sister.

Ivy smiled. "Honestly, I like him," she whispered in her sister's ear.
"Aww...really? Is that the truth? You are not lying to me?" Ella asked, just wanting to make sure that her sister was not forced in anyways to accept Zemeth's proposal because of her.
"Don't worry about my feelings, sister. I like him! I'm also excited to visit the Nephilim Kingdom!" Ivy beamed.
"Alright, let's eat this roasted chicken first because I'm starving!" Ella said and took the chicken wings, her favorite, and sank her teeth greedily on its savory texture. "Hmm...delicious!"
Ivy smiled and took the chicken legs and made a big bite.
The sisters enjoyed their roasted chicken meal.
"What's the story about Jegun and Agran?" Ivy asked her out of the blue.
Ella put the bone on the plate. "Grandpa snatched me under the vampire's territory and brought me here in the cave. I saw the monster inside the cage. Then I lost consciousness, after I wake up the monster was gone, and Agran found me lying unconscious's bitten by the monsters who escape his cage. The cursed was now transferred on me. I can tell you... the monster's face was hideous! It frightened the hell out of me," Ella said, recalling the nightmare she faced inside the cave.
"You said Agran was attentive to you? Don't tell me he was attracted to you as well?" Ivy asked.
Ella smiled. "Ah, it's not that way. Who would like my face? It's like falling in love with a grandma," she said, her face contorted into a grimace. "He was just feeling guilty, over the fact he was supposed to guard the monster...due to his negligence I was bitten by the monster. He thinks it's his fault, he feels guilty and he keeps apologizing to me and sometimes I got irritated. I told him that its' not his fault. He was not the one who bit me, it's the monster."
"Ah, I see. This castle indeed housed many terrifying monsters," Ivy murmured and continues munching on the savory chicken legs.
After a few minutes, the mouthwatering chicken was now reduced to bones.
The sisters looked at each other in amusement.
"Please convey my thanks to Agran, tell him his roasted chicken is delicious," Ivy said.
"Okay, I'll bring the platter back to Agran and I will tell him you like the way he roasted the chicken," said Ella and left the chamber.
Ivy sat on the wooden bed pondering about Zemeth's proposal.
A few minutes later.
Zemeth entered the chamber and smiled at the woman he loves. "How's the meal?" he asked.

Ivy smiled. "It's delicious! My sister and I finished the roasted chicken in no time," she replied.
"Good. Do you need anything?" He asked looking at the jar. "Do you still have water?" he asked.
"Yes, there's still plenty of water in the jar," she responded.
"Hmm...let's talk about my proposal to you regarding the marriage. Would you marry me?" he asked her excitedly.
Ivy looked deeply into his sparkling eyes. She can only see the genuine intention in his blue orbs. "I have some condition before accepting your marriage proposal..." she said shyly because she was going to impose on him.
"Tell me what is it...?" Zemeth asked eagerly.
Ivy took a deep breath. "I want to bring my sisters and my Aunt to the Nephilim Kingdom with me," she said lowering her gaze, fearing that her condition was over the top.
Zemeth's mouth erupted into a grin. "No problem, Ivy. I have a big place. My courtyard is big. I have one vacant house that was not used for a long time. Your entire family can occupy that place. Rest assured that I will take care of your whole family in all aspects of their needs...and I have servants also... you and your family don't have to work hard around the house," he promised.
Ivy was delighted with his positive reply.
Zemeth's was liking the pleased look on her face. "So...will you marry me?" he asked.
Ivy stared at his eyes and smiled sweetly. "Yessss..." she said in a breathless voice.
"Thank you, you won't regret marrying me!" Zemeth said, his heart was overflowing with joy. He hugged his future wife tightly and kissed her forehead passionately.
They were locked in an embrace for a few minutes.
Ivy can hear the frantic beating of his heart. She snuggled closer to him, yearning for his closeness. She never expected that she could fall easily with this stranger. She found joy in his embrace, she loves smelling his masculine scent that filled her nostrils with wild thoughts.
On the other hand, Zemeth was enjoying his future wife's sweet presence. He could spend the rest of his life holding her this way, so close to his body, their hearts were beating as one. He wants to raise a family with her as soon as possible.
But first, they need to escape the castle safely and returned to the Nephilim Kingdom. Then introduce his wife to his parents and family, afterward, held a wedding ceremony within the week.
Ivy looked into his face. "Husband, what is the escape plan? Can you tell me... Is there anything that I can contribute to our escape?" she asked in an interested manner.
Zemeth was grinning with happiness after hearing Ivy calling him husband. Her endearment was like music to his ears. "We will be using Ella's blood for our escape, don't worry, she won't be harmed because the sacrifice doesn't need much blood from her. As for you, just be there for your sister to calm her..."
"What's exactly going to happen during our escape?" asked Ivy.
"I will just cut Ella's skin with the golden dagger, the dagger, in turn, will feed on her blood. Then it will turn into a sword. I can use that sword to cut a small portion of the blazing barrier successfully. You and the elves will go out first while we will guard your escape. We will make sure that the dark armies of the vampire clan will not be able to stop us just in case they will be alerted to our escape," Zemeth explained in detail about the escape.
"Ah, okay I got it! But I'm worried about you guys! You will be left behind! It doesn't feel right to me," Ivy protested.
"Ah, no need to worry, my love. My comrades and I are trained for this kind of hazard," Zemeth replied. "Don't worry, nothing harm will come to me, I can assure you that," he said confidently.
"Okay, I'll trust your words," she said.
They continue enjoying each other's warmth.
After some time, Ivy cleared her throat. "Husband, d-do you know of any powerful healer in your place?"
"Yes...there are many types of healers there...why?"
"I was thinking that...maybe...we can find someone to help restore my sister's youthful look. I pity my sister too much, she now becomes an old woman," she said in distress.
"Ah, regarding that...don't worry...we will approach all the healers in our kingdom. I'm sure we can find someone who can remedy your sister's problem. But first of all, we will just focus first on our escape, the rest will follow later, okay?" he said gazing into her eyes. He ran his fingers on her glorious tresses.
"Okay, husband," Ivy replied softly and rested her head on his broad shoulder, enjoying his warmth.
The lovers savored their newfound relationship, savoring each other's wonderful presence.
The whole chamber was overflowing with their affection for each other, as they remained locked in each other's embrace celebrating the union of their hearts.

The Humble Life of a Skill Trainer
For Joshua Still, Skills were the lifeblood of his business. He wanted to understand them, collect many of them, and teach a few of them. Which was a problem because while his profession of a Skill Trainer was perfectly legal, it was frowned upon by most of the kingdom. After all, it wouldn't do for a non-tailor to teach Tailoring. Or, so says the Tailors Guild. The same could be said by the Blacksmiths, the Bakers, the Butchers, the Candlestick Makers, the Mages, and every other Guild with enough money and clout to complain. But still, Skill Trainers provide a valuable service, and so he has managed to start his business and keep it under the table. To a degree. With many a bribe. But his quiet anonymous life of research, practice, and training was about to change. When the Baron demands you pay him a visit, you have little choice.

Author's Note: (This is my first story, and I would be very thankful if grammatical errors were pointed out. I could also take a few suggestions in the comments if you would. This is less a planned production, and more a little project that I'm winging as it goes. I will try and be consistent with at least 2 chapters a week. Also, as I am a completely new author, the number of words per chapter may fluctuate. The minimum will be around 1000 words, while other chapters may be 2000-3000. It will hopefully only get better with time.)
